Description of Work: Grass Work came out to mow the lawn.

Description of Work: Grassworks mowed my lawn, trimmed, and cleared trimmings from the driveway and sidewalk.

Description of Work: Cut grass, some of it. We have a tricky border and many beds. Representative came and told my 85yr mother and me everything we wanted to hear. Unfortunately I didn't know the difference between a mower and a walk behind. We were however, very emphatic about no commercial equipment. They were here 5 times, 3 of the first visits, two men - one with a regular mower and one with walk behind (which he stood on riding). Job was okay but nothing to brag about. There were several areas where the grass was rolled down and I asked to have it cut shorter, they were set for 3.5 inches, then 3, finally 2.5"-which is what I requested initially. They also cut/trimmed all shrubbery and bushes except for lilac tree, my fault as I forgot to mention it. They used power equipment, which I could have done but another company had always done it by hand - outcome - okay but not for the price. We were going with this new company for full service including snow removal and other upkeep that I was having trouble keeping up with therefore we said nothing hoping for the best - a "getting acquainted" period. For their 26 years in business, only 2 reviews? I now know why. Complain and you are fired as a consumer. I would be happy to forward the placating e-mails, double-talk is not something I do or understand. Fired. A consumer. Made two requests about the height of the grass and the initial representative came to see where they missed and agreed it was a bad job. Then Mr Palmer called and told me to find someone else. Just like that. I misunderstood. I interfered with his workers- I wanted the grass shorter. They were the ones that told me how they do it and had to call whoever- seemed scared of something. I now know who. What happened to businessman service? At no time were voices raised just find someone else. We were looking for a company that would do ALL YARD AND TREE SERVICE. Snow removal. They talk a good game BUT those Palmers, their way or you're out. Can't wait to see his rebuttal! %3
