+ -1 moreThey also refused to work with me by asking the seller to pay half the expense. Not sure how the fact that the house sat vacant was my problem. Seemed very unprofessional to me and I would not recommend them.
Description of Work: Brownstone Realty were the sellers and I was the buyer. Once I moved into the house, I experienced issues with sewer being clogged. Water backed up into the basement. I did not have a home inspection, however the plumber that came to my rescue stated that the paint on the basement floor was worn away in the area of the pipes due to water in the past. Usually in a disclosure, this would have been disclosed. Why would you have to have a home inspection if the sellers would have disclosed this. Brownstone not only refused to contact the seller but stated that because I did not have a home inspection and because the house sat vacant for over a year on sale, that I should be responsible to pay for the plumbing issues which amounted to $580.00.
