My project was a larger-than-average residential driveway and aprons, with its share of slopes and curves. From my first contact with Jeff, I found him to be very professional, experienced and knowledgeable of his subject matter. He was able to clearly explain what specific work was required once he had walked through and assessed the project. He followed through exactly as discussed and proposed. Prestige has the equipment and trained staff to get the job done quickly and efficiently, with no need to improvise. They took the time to properly prepare the site for paving-excavating as needed, placing and compacting base aggregate, placing, grading and compacting fine aggregate to profile, and following up with base course and finish course asphalt. No shortcuts, no corners cut, no drama.. As a registered Civil Engineer, I can say that I was impressed at every step of the work. The team showed up promptly on the committed day, and quickly stepped through the process. I just stayed out of the way. Workmanship was top notch. The team functions like a well-oiled machine with everyone knowing their role, including Jeff who is very hands-on with his team. All in all, the results rate an A+ for me. I am getting a lot of complements on the finished project, and I am happy to recommend Jeff and his team for any asphalt paving project.

It was time for our old retaining walls and driveway to be replaced. We were also having problems with our old driveway flooding when we would have heavy rain. My husband got Prestige Paving's name from a coworker. Jeff Thoma and Prestige Paving came highly recommended, so we gave him a call. When Jeff first came out, we spent a lot of time outside looking at what we wanted to have done. He listened to our ideas and gave his suggestions, as well. We got a good feeling right away because of his knowledge and honesty. Jeff gave us an estimate on the cost of the job that first night. He spent a lot of time explaining to us in detail the steps that would be taken to get the job done. We were impressed. When we called Jeff to tell him that he got our business, he had the contract drafted and mailed to us in no time. There was so much work to be done -- demolition of two large retaining walls and driveway and the digging of a trench through the yard for the driveway drain; excavation; rebuilding new Versalok walls; and paving of the driveway, not to mention the finishing touches such as grading the landscaping where needed. It was hard for us to believe that the job would be finished in one week, but it was. Jeff's crew was hardworking, friendly and professional. We are extremely happy with the outcome and the experience. We feel as though a quality job was done at a fair price. The transformation has exceeded our expectations. We will definitely contact Jeff as the need arises in the future.

Jeff, the owner, visited to provide an initial quote on 3/29/13. Quote was written and Jeff left me with a positive impression. He seemed very knowledgeable on the subject matter. He was one of two contractors that I short-listed and asked him to return on 4/13/13 to discuss updated specification and give me a final quote. He did visit and we agreed on the scope and a final number. He indicated he would mail a contract the following week and three weeks later I have heard nothing.I attempted to call him on 5/4 on his mobile phone. It rang until it went to voicemail, and I have not received a callback.

The first time I met Jeff from Prestige I was won over. He is so personable, I felt like I had known him forever. He is professional without being aloof or arrogant, just a regular nice guy. We decided to have him put in our asphalt driveway without even getting another estimate, that's how confident we were that we would get a great job. We had to wait a few months due to the fact that we were having an addition put on the back of our home and the driveway would be the last thing to be done. He told us it would be no problem, just let him know as soon as possible as we were nearing completion and he would schedule our job and hold to the original estimate. Before he left that day, we decided that maybe we would like our front sidewalk and stoop done in brick pavers. He gave us a price and we said we'd get back to him; before he left we said just come and do it. We scheduled a time to have it done and his guys showed up on time, in fact they were early...when does that happen?!? They started work immediately, no standing around drinking coffee or discussing how to go about proceeding, they knew what to do and just went at it. I have never seen more professional, hard workers in my life. All of his employees were friendly and courteous, I loved them all. They did an absolutely gorgeous job and we are more than pleased, In fact, our next door neighbor must have liked it as much as we do because they had Jeff do a job at their home right after he did ours. When our addition was nearing completion, and believe me it took much longer than we had expected, I let Jeff know. I'm sure he had lots of other work, but we were expecting out of state visitors and wanted it done as quickly as possible, Jeff being the great guy that he is scheduled us the following week! Again, his crew showed up on time and ready to begin. Of course we have had Jeff back again to build a wall and steps leading form our back patio into our side yard. Everything he has done for us has been top notch and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing asphalt, brick pavers or block work done, He may not be the cheapest out there, but in my humble opinion he is the best; you won't get a better job at any price. I would gladly have him back to do work for me, and believe me, I cannot say that about many contractors that I have used.

Called several times and left messages for call back. No one returned calls. Recently I tried again and message box was full. Very unprofessional.

Jeff was very professional and courteous from our first phone conversation to set up a time for he and I to meet and review the proposed work to his follow phone call to ensure everything was done correctly. When he arrived at my house for the job review, we discussed several options and he provided a quote on the spot. When I decided to hire Prestige Paving, Jeff provided a written contract which detailed the processes and materials he would be using to complete my driveway. He provided a timeline for the concrete and asphalt work and the work was completed per the contract. His crew was very friendly and hard working and cleaned up after themselves. When an issue came up during the channel drain system, Jeff worked with me to fix the problem in the most efficient and cost effective way without sacrificing quality. We had a great experience with Prestige Paving and would reccomend them.

Jeff Thoma came out soon after I called to describe the work they would do and the price. The price he gave us was slightly more than the estimate from two others, but we felt Prestige would do a better job so we went with them. However, the final price ended up being less than others because Jeff explained the base, when it was dug up and exposed, was in better shape than first seemed likely and so didn't need to be replaced.. Overall, they were no trouble, it was an interesting process to watch awhile, they were done in a day, and the finished job looks like it was built to last.

They are so kind, quick and professional. The pavers look great.

Work was excellent! A little difficult with communication, but stayed on them and had no issues... Worth it in the end, as they did a fantastic job, and completed the work when they said they would. Have already referred them to several neighbors, friends and family!

They squeezed me in at the end of the season. They had a coupon that could have saved me $400.00 and I forgot it. They got back to me right away and did everything they said they would do. They were very professional and did an outstanding job. My driveway is not a normal driveway. It's extreme so it was a challenge.

Monday, October 24 - I called Prestige Paving regarding repairing the curb at the end of my driveway. Tuesday, October 25 - Jeff returned my call to consult and arrived to provide details including how, when, how long, and how much. I told him I was off Mondays. Monday, October 31, 8am - I awoke to a loud sound of saws, cutting through the old asphalt. I looked out of the garage window and saw Jeff?s crew working on the correction of the hole at the end of my driveway. It almost brought a tear to my eye. ?How?s come?? he asked. Because I could not find a contractor to help me, let alone return my calls. Prestige Paving corrected my pot hole in a couple hours. Jeff told me the details. We determined a date and the job was completed as agreed, at the quoted time, within the duration estimated, and at the quality level I demanded and expected. I recommend Prestige Paving to provide quality paving service at a reasonable price, with no surprises.

My overall experience with Prestige Paving was A+ excellent. I came away from the experience with the opinion that Prestige is a well-managed, hard working, owner operated small business that is dedicated to quality work and courteous, responsive customer service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing asphalt work. Here is my story - My driveway was a mess and I really didn't know what to do about it. I called several pavers for advice/estimates. Some responded, most did not. Jeff, one of the owners of Prestige Paving, called me back and scheduled an appointment to come to my home. He arrived on schedule, evaluated my situation, explained what needed to be done, then worked the numbers (from his parked truck) to provide me with an immediate hand written estimate (all free of charge). I was impressed that he called around to get the best current prices on asphalt and other things required. I was also impressed by his courtesy and honesty. (He told me he couldn't do the job unless I trimmed a tree back so he could get his paver in.) I called him later to ask for additional estimates to extend the driveway by 3 ft. or 6 ft. and was pleased that he called me back within 15 minutes with the new estimates. Given the work involved, I thought the estimates were very fair (all included an Angie's List discount) and decided to go for the 6 ft extension. I received a very detailed, written contract a few days later and was very pleased to see that the contract price was the same as the estimate. I sent the contract back and called to schedule the work. Prestige was very accommodating on scheduling, even offering at one point to approach another customer to reschedule if necessary to accommodate my schedule! On the scheduled day, Prestige arrived promptly and everyone worked very hard all day. Jeff was clearly in charge, but also worked along with the others and operated machinery. He is clearly a "hands on" owner. I was awed by the trucks and equipment that arrived to line my street. Watching everything from both inside my house and my deck, I was extremely impressed by how organized everything was, how well the whole process was planned and managed. I counted 6 men working on the project and everyone seemed to know exactly what to do and when to do it. It was amazing! Their attention to detail, to getting everything exactly right really made me feel throughout the day that I was getting a quality job. From what I could see, as a customer, there were no problems, nothing went wrong. I found out later that there actually had been problems (for example, the demolished asphalt was refused by the original dumping site because the pieces were too large so Jeff had to get on the phone and find another site). Finding out, after the fact, that there had been problems - and that those problems had been dealt with promptly and effectively so there would be no impact on the project - reinforces my opinion that Prestige is a well managed company that strives for excellent customer service. As the project was winding down, I went out and talked with Jeff and some of the men who were cleaning up. Everyone I talked with was very courteous to me, very proud of their equipment, and very proud of the work they had done that day. I learned about the history of the company, the hard work and dedication that goes into growing a business from nothing to something you can be really proud of. These people are proud of their company and that pride is reflected in the quality of the work they produce. At the end of the day, I wrote a check for the contract price. Even though it was a lot of money for me, I have no regrets. I now have a beautiful new driveway that is well worth the money spent. And it was so easy - for me!

We called around 12 in the afternoon. We had called several companies with no answer or reply. We spoke to him right away and he even came out the very same day (around 6pm) to complete. they were very friendly and answered our questions. I will definatly hire them again.

We highly recommend Prestige Paving. Jeff explained both jobs in detail and answered all of our questions. We had a problem with the asphalt driveway (not Prestige's fault), and Jeff returned a year later to redo it. The paver sidewalk is beautiful. Jeff and his crew are very professional. They are extremely trustworthy and they have a first-class work ethic. You can be certain that your job will be done right. Thank you Jeff and crew!

They were professional and competent, but what they wanted to do was really beyond what I felt was necessary for what I wanted to get done. The overall estimation process was good, but I went with another company for this project.

It was a large project. They were in the ballpark but they were a little higher than the other provider who I ended up going with. Prestige seemed to be very professional. I saw some of their work as part of my diligence. Unfortunately we didn't come to financial terms otherwise they may have done the job. The guy who came out was very professional and punctual. He said he was going to come for a quote to look over the property and he was here.

I sent him an email and it took him a week or two to get back to me. We finally talked and he said he would contact me right after the home show that was upcoming. That was a few weeks ago and he has never gotten back to me. I am planning to move on to another company.

They were perfect in every way. They were on time and did everything the way they said they would do it. They worked quickly and professionally.

Everything went on well. They did what they said there are going to do. I don't have any complaints on them.

I contacted Jeff for an estimate. He responded promptly with a telephone call, came the next day and did an inspection of my driveway, and provided me with an estimate for patchwork on 3 places that included sealing the entire driveway. His estimate was comparable to the other 2 that I got. Unfortunately, I went with another company. Hindsight being 20/20, I believe Prestige would have done a better job and been much neater. Live and learn I guess. I would call Jeff back for estimates on other work I'd like done in the future.

I called Jeff and scheduled an estimate for a Saturday morning, Jeff arrived on time, sat with my husband and I and explained the best way to do the driveway, we had other estimates and his price was in line with the others. When talking to Jeff we felt that he was a professional. A few weeks later as scheduled Jeff and his crew showed up on time, and did a great job. In the fall we called Jeff to give us an estimate on the retaining wall and sidewalk, Jeff showed up with brochures, pictures of other work he did and samples of the bricks. I was surprised when he brought whole brick samples with him, It was very helpful when picking colors and choosing a pattern for the sidewalk, much better than looking at the brochures. We scheduled the work and again the crew showed up on time every day and were professional. This was a very hard job due to big tree roots but the crew worked very hard to get the wall in. The wall, sidewalk and porch step look great. A-1 contractor in my book.
