Description of Work: The team at Kehs Stucco and Plastering of Hellertown, PA completed an extensive exterior remediation project on our home in Allentown, PA in March and April of 2016. This remediation came to be needed as the result of a pre-sale home inspection that revealed moisture intrusion behind the stucco walls of our 15 year old home. Because of this circumstance, we needed the work done promptly and to a high standard so that we could sell our home. Bill Kehs and his team came through for us with flying colors. This was a large project involving the removal and resurfacing of areas on all sides of our home. We put the project out to bid to three companies. Bill Kehs was, by far, the most responsive in the bid process and he built confidence with us from day one. Importantly, Bill Kehs is a certified repair professional with a national third party warranty company which was critical to the successful sale of our home. Bill worked with us and the warranty company to make sure his work would meet their criteria to grant a warranty. Bill met personally with me and the warranty company inspector to spec out and plan the work. Once the scope was defined, Kehs quoted a price and they stuck to it, even though there were more repairs required that originally anticipated. The guys that did the work were obviously skilled at their craft. They explained what they were doing at each step and kept us informed of their progress. I discovered that there is a lot to know about installing stucco correctly. Because this work involved the removal of 12 windows, controlling dust and dirt were a challenge. But they did the absolute best they could. After a 5 week project, interrupted by rain and cold, the completed project was beautiful and we were able to sell our home with confidence. We actually got a higher price than originally planned because of the obvious quality of the work performed. We cannot say enough about the Bill and his team. It's a very emotional thing to discover that your home has a significant moisture intrusion problem in the middle of a relocation. We could not have gotten through this without them.

Description of Work: Remediated stucco water damage. | |The construction team removed the water damaged plywood under the stucco, then replaced the plywood and stucco to the front of the house. The remaining sides had no damage. In addition, they added the water diversion flashing to the roof gutters to prevent further damage. They also provided a warranty for their work for 1 year. | |I would definitely hire them again to remediate stucco issues (although I don't anticipate that problem again since they added the flashing).

Description of Work: We had the inside of a 3 ft garden wall repaired and re-stucco'd. They were fast and we thought they did a great job, however, recently we noticed the stucco is cracking all over the place. In addition, we called them early this year to schedule re-doing the other side of the wall, but we never heard back from them. We will definitely not use them again.

EXCELLENT!!!! Bill and his team did an excellent job. Bill and I had a number of discussions prior to the beginning of the job and during work. Bill coordinated having his scaffolding up for other contractors to finish their work, making my costs lower in total. Bill was very quick to fix any issues that came up, and on a project of this large size there are always complications. His workers were very friendly and good natured. I commend Bill and his team for their professionalism and expertise.
Description of Work: Bill's team did the complete stucco work for new construction (4500 sf) addition and a restucco for the original 5000 sf portion of my home. Additional work was done in tandem with new windows on the original structure. Project started in Fall 2011 and completed in Summer 2012.

Everything was great. The owner Bill Kehs came out personally to give me an estimate and explain all of the options we had available to us. We had the estimate within a few days and the crew was on site a few days after that. The Job was done on schedule and within budget. The crew was respectful of our property, kept things clean and worked with the other contractors on the job to keep things running smoothly.

They discussed everything detail before doing anything. They brought samples of the brinks they found and had us choose the ones we thought would match the best. Rain delayed the work for at least a week, so it took longer than planned. When I wasn't pleased with the grout color on the back of the house, they repainted it to match the bricks. The company was very knowledgeable, professional, and worked with us each step of the way.
Description of Work: Brickwork was pulling away from house, and small brick wall attached on side was separating from house. Kehs removed several rows of bricks, and took samples to match and replace several bricks that were crumbling. They then replaced the rows of bricks, attaching them to the house. They cut between house and attached wall, and firmly anchored the two together. They also replaced several crumbled bricks on the chimney. Finally they removed several moldy bricks on shady side of house which were in a stepping pattern, and smoothed out the bricks to a slanted pattern.
