They got the work done in a short period of time. They did a great job cleaning up. We have been using them off and on for several years. I have never had any issues. His pricing is about one quarter of the price then other service providers.

John & I discussed what I needed done the day I called him. He came out the next day (Sat.) and gave me estimates. He gave me a lot of detail as to how he would do the services and why he was making those choices. I contacted him Tuesday with an approval to do the services, and he and his assistant were out the following Sunday morning to do the work. They were prompt, professional, and did all that was requested. John even went beyond by trimming additional dead wood from the locust tree. He was careful in his work and all was cleaned up promptly. It was clear that he wanted to do the best job for the health and growth of the trees/shrubs, even when that took a bit longer. I was very pleased w/the entire job. I have plans to use them in the spring for another job.

Called me back and was able to do it the next day. Took down the tree, grinded the stump and even took away branches I had cut down in the front yard without being asked. Other tree service companies either didn't call back, had higher estimates or couldn't come for several weeks. John emailed me an invoice the next day at my request.

Contacted Hunger Beaver and within 24 hours came to the house to review the job. Told me what would be required to remove the tree and how his team would preform the task. Came back the next day with additional team member to verify what manpower and equipment was necessary and verified price quoted. Not the cheapest nor the most expensive but service and final results were impressive. Within 72 hours of contact and agreement on price the tree was removed, all brush and debris was cleared and removed. Was very careful not to incur additional damage to the house, roof, gutters or siding other than what was originally done when the tree hit the house. Impressed with quality of service and response to a very serious situation.

I called Hungry Beaver to have 2 tree stumps removed. They returned my call the same day, gave a quick, very reasonable estimate, and came the next day (a Sunday) to do the work. They did a great job. They are a top-notch business with the right equipment. The owner (John) and his associate are indeed "beavers"! The price was very reasonable ($350). It took about 3 hours.

I contacted them via email on Sunday. On Monday John came out to work up an estimate. He was very clear about what he would do and how he would accomplish it - and how much time he expected it would take him. I called him back on Tuesday about noon to confirm that we wanted to move ahead with the project. He called me later that afternoon to ask if he could come by and get started that afternoon. Since we were expecting high winds on Wednesday I was thrilled to have him work on the largest tree as it had already lost some large branches in a prior storm. He came out that afternoon and worked very quickly to strip the branches from the large pine - as he was cutting Meg was feeding the branches into the chipper. John quit when the daylight ran out but they spent time cleaning up debris before they left. They returned the next morning with a platform lift - John used that to start at the top of the trees and work his way down, cutting sections as he went. By evening all three trees were down safely and the clean-up continued. John came back on Friday to do the trimming on the large oak and actually cut out a number of dead branches that were not in the original estimate. He took some larger pieces out with him but said he would be back on Monday to clean up and cup the balance of the debris. On Saturday I decided to help out so I dragged all the branches to the street, along with some pieces that were left behind by the company trimming along the utility easement. John agreed to chip those pieces for me since he was coming out with his chipper anyway. On Monday - at the time promised - John and Meg returned with the chipper and took care of the piles I had created in my front yard at the street. They cleaned up, dumped the chips for me to use later and were gone. These folks did a great job, on time and for a reasonable price. I will definitely use them again should the need arise.

No complaints. Would use them again if need be. Very nice and I trusted his expertise. Took a few trips, but they always called and kept me up to date as to when they'd be back.

The work performed by The Hungry Beaver went very smoothly. They worked efficiently and safely keeping me aware of the work they were doing. While we waited for the electric and cable companies to come to temporarily remove cables, they started work on other trees that needed to be felled. They completed removal and cleanup within a short amount of time. My electrical and cable services we minimally impacted.

John & Megan were excellent from start to finish. Good communication about a start date and when they would be back onsite. They had to get a few different pieces of equipment onsite so its wasn't 4.5 days straight in a row. They were careful and took their time while working hard all along.

They started on Saturday and continued over a couple of days removing trunks and branches. They were punctual and always let me know when they would be back. After the job was complete they cleaned my yard spotless. Great to work with.
