I discovered that a toilet in a house we had recently purchased was leaking water into the basement. Being new in the area I did not know who to call so I consulted the yellow pages and called several plumbers.The leak was not easily discovered because it only occurred when the toilet was flushed, and the toilet was in a seldom used guest bath. Mr DeMelphi was the only plumber that returned my call. The repair was not an emergency, but Mr DeMelphi was able to come a few days later. We made an appointment and he arrived on time. He came with a helper, and the two of them promptly diagnosed the problem, and made the necessary repairs. He was courteous and professional and completed the work promptly. He cleaned up the area carefully after completing the work. As stated above the original replacement seal failed 8 months later. I called Mr DeMelphi again. He came promptly and added a second seal to the toilet. That stopped the leak immediately. He did not charge for the second call. I was very pleased with the work of Mr DeMelfi. I would use his services again, and would recommend his services without reservation.
