Bill was here bright and early every day and completed. All work was done in a quality manner and all issues on our list were resolved. I wish we would have done it a few years earlier.

I have the Moen replacement shower assembly ? recently purchased. Thank you." (my name and cell number omitted) I received NO reply from William Gavin Plumbing.

They are very responsive and provide good service.

Bill's workmanship is excellent as has been the work of any assistants he's used over the past few years. His estimates have always been accurate and his fees are fair and clearly posted on his website so there are never any surprises. You get the quality you pay for and he stands behind his work. After having several bad experiences with plumbers and electricians it was so refreshing to find BIll. He is responsive even when I've had to call him at inconvenient times.

They did a great job. They were quick with response and flexible with schedule.

I don't recall how much I spent. He does a very thorough job. He knows what he's doing. He cleans up after himself. He's very courteous. He's prompt and on time. He is reasonably priced. I would use his services again in the future.

I was not very displeased with his work. I thought that he was very expensive. He was charging us too much for the work he was doing. When I tried to talk to him and confront him about cost, he worked even slower. Every time he went to take a tool from the truck he would take 15 minutes. I was really not pleased with his service. He even over used his helpers. He pretty much always had helpers with him. He quoted me $400 to replace the two bathroom exhaust fans which took his helpers 20 minutes to put in. The helper was at $30 per hour. The labor was $10 but the other charges were $400. I was very pleased with the quality of work done by the subcontractors. They were really good. His overall quality was bad. We wanted all the outlets in the kitchen to be of the same height and he was not able to do that correctly. He was very responsive to the other subcontractors when doing the job. He did show up on time. I think this job was too big for him. I would not recommend him to others.

Bill Gavin was very accessible and responsive when we approached him about a leaky kitchen faucet and a toilet tank that would not fill. At his request, we sent him pictures of both the toilet and the faucet. We had a number of email and phone conversations to discuss how best to approach the problems. He was consistently thoughtful and helpful. He and his assistant arrived on time and replaced the faucet and repaired the toilet very efficiently. We intend to have him do additional work in our home.

We recently purchased a new dishwasher. When the installer arrived, he took a look at the cutoff valve and said that it would need to be replaced before he could do his work. This was on a Friday morning. I called several plumbers listed on Angie's List, but Mr. Gavin was the only one who picked up the phone. He asked me to decribe the situation and it was clear to me that he understood the scope of the job. He asked me to send him digital photos of the pipes and valves -- something I've never done before, but it's a clever and time-saving technique -- and he responded within a few hours. He asked me to send additional photos so he could be sure he had the correct parts with him when he came to do the work. Based on the photos, he suggested we might need a new faucet and offered us the option to either purchase hardware from him or go to Home Depot/Lowes to find something we liked. We pursued the latter option, which Mr. Gavin said was fine, though he pointed out that if we had purchased the faucet from him, he would have guarenteed the parts. In any case, he and his assistant completed the work in less than 2 hours with very little fuss or bother. They were very professional and seemed to know exactly what they were doing. I appreciated the fact that Mr. Gavin uses an assistant since he is, as he said himself, not as quick to run back and forth to the truck as he once was. You might pay a little bit more for Mr. Gavin's services than you would from some plumbers, but I believe his experience more than makes up for this. I forgot to use my Angie's List coupon, but I hope he'll let me use it the next time we have a project for him. We have a powder room sink I'd really like to have replaced...

Bill did a great job. After helping me determine what I needed, he gave me a detailed estimate and keep me informed of his progress. His workmanship was excellent and he left everything clean and tidy.

repair work appears to be well done, and Mr. Gavin was responsive to our call. Price was quite high considering the small amt. of work that needed to be done. The $35 service call fee in addition to hourly charges seems excessive. Also work took slightly over an hour and the labor fee was over $200 for plumber and apprentice. Would not use in the future for a small job.

The hardware inside toilet tank stopped working properly (The water wouldn't stop running. Opening it up myself I diagnosed the issue being part that rises with the water level was no longer rising. I went out and bought parts, and installed them. When I hooked the water up and turned it on there were leaks I couldn't get to stop. Knowing that I had another small needing to be handled (an outdoor faucet that wouldn't turn completely off) I called Bill. He came out Friday night after dinner, and completed the toilet repair, reassuring me that I hadn't (as I believed I may have) broken the valve that connects to the toilet fill pipe. He quickly tightened a couple of connections that I had been reluctant to apply more force to, and when the water no longer leaked, completed the repair of the toilet. The external faucet ended up being a quick repair as well. Something as simple as replacing a broken washer.

I thought the pricing was suspect. He didn't have any of the necessary supplies in his truck and charged me the master plumber rate for his travel time to buy the supplies. Also he charged me a service call fee which most contractors don't when they perform a service.

Mr. Gavin was very responsive After the first day, I felt very comfortable leaving him at the house without supervision to finish the project. He arrives when he says he will and will get an early start (7:30 am) which is very convenient for working folks. Very importantly, he works with other tradesmen (masons, etc.) who I have found to be reliable. I anticipate having Mr. Gavin work on a number of other plumbing/electrical/handyman projects for me.

On a Saturday evening, my husband and I discovered that our basement had started flooding due to the torrential rains (which followed the record snow storms). We called Bill when we realized that our water vac could not keep up with the incoming water. Bill arrived within 90 minutes with a water pump that he left with us. He also thoroughly surveyed the inside and outside of our home to determine if we could take any other immediate steps and gave us immediate fixes and long term suggestions to solve our flood problem. He also took the time to walk us inside and outside (in the pouring rain) to show us potential problems. For any plumbing emergency, we highly recommend Bill.

Bill has continued to do work for us since we moved into our home. I called him about 7PM on a weeknight because our heater would not come on and he came over within the hour to help get it running. He later replaced a garage door, installed another dimmer and repaired a leaking dishwasher. Bill continues to be very responsive and performs quality work at a reasonable price. You really could not ask for more.

Bill Gavin went above and beyond to help us update a non-functioning faucet in our bathroom sink. It was not as easy a job as he had anticipated but he stuck with the job until it was completed to his and our satisfaction. He did so with a positive attitude; was prompt, courteous, and extremely professional. He also replaced our bathtub drain mechanism - correctly. Previous plumbers had replaced it several times previously - but neither time properly. The drain has worked flawlessly since Bill replaced i correctlyt. In addition, he even replaced too very dangerous outlets in our home - which were not part of the original plan. We highly recommend Bill Gavin and will call on him again!

Unfortunately we are still trying to figure out the orgin of our leaky ceiling. But, Bill was readily available with in a half hour to an hour of my initial panic call. He was able to rule most probable causes of our leaky ceiling. We still have to rule out possible ice damage from the recent Blizzard (possible leaky roof as the cause). I felt very confident after Bill's initial inspection and future advice. He will be coming back to fix a leaky bath tub faucet and I am sure I will have many other projects in the future that I would use Bill for. Very friendly and polite and price is very reasonable compared to other vendors.

Our kitchen sink drain trap connection had decayed over time and suddenly began leaking large amounts of water. Called Bill first thing in the morning and he came within a couple of hours as promised. We have used his plumbing services several times and he is is always reliable and fairly priced.

He was excellent and very knowledgeable. He didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't need. He was very helpful in helping us finding a solution to our problem, and letting us know what we could do.

Bill did a lot of work in a home we recently purchased. We decided to use him because he is a Master Plumber and Electrician and does some handyman type of work when time allows-we liked the idea of having one person that could perform a variety of work. His price was fair and he was very diligent when performing each and every task. Bill was always on time, did each job to our satisfaction, offered suggestions and has been available since for any questions or follow-up. If you need someone to perform plumbing, electrical work or other handyman type of tasks I would definitely recommend Bill. He will give you an estimate via email, come to your home to provide a firm estimate (that did not vary) and you will not be disappointed if you decide to give him the job. Bill is definitely the type of person we should each have on speed dial when the little trials of home ownership arise. As an aside, since he completed the main work we have had him back to fix a leaking bathroom sink pipe and drain that was running slow. He really does a great job!

Once the gasline was seup and all the materials delivered, the system was installed and connected to the existing supply and return lines seamlessly. The next day it was up and running . The whole job took about 3-4 days to complete. also installed various other ammenities and corrected some deficiancies in existing system while he was there.
