RICK'S SAME DAY APPLIANCE REPAIR SERVICE

Called 3 times, left message. My house is an outfielder's throw from his address. Calls never returned

He came out the next afternoon and looked at the washer. He was on time, pleasant and neat in appearance. The news was not good, but he took the time to explain exactly what was wrong, my options and the cost of a repair, and he made sure I understood, and he answered all my questions. I decided to buy a new machine, as it wasn't a lot more than the cost of the repair (the machine's and quot;transmissionand quot; had failed). Many service people and contractors assume you don't know anything and wouldn't understand anyway, but not Rick. I would definitely refer him or call him again if I have any issues. Thanks Rick!

He knew exactly what it was and we struggled with it for a while. The service was wonderful and the price was fair.

Although the repair would have been too costly due to the condition of the dryer, this company was prompt with returning call and scheduling appointment. Everything was explained and options were presented. I would use and recommend Rick's for future appliance repair.

Rick was punctual, returned all calls quickly, and showed up exactly when he said he would. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, and we feel the amount he charged was entirely reasonable. I would recommend him without hesitation for fridge repairs.

He came out promptly and was courteous and friendly. He diagnosed that the problem was actually a heavy sock over the exhaust pipe.

Rick arrived within the scheduled time window and explained the process he was going to complete. The repair ended up being minor which he fixed on the first visit.

He couldn't help but he recommended someone that did a great job.

It turns out the ice maker was fine. The problem was that a laser light in the side of the freezer tells the ice make when it's full, and that beam was not functioning, so the ice maker thought it was full. Rick quickly figured out the problem, and ordered the part. He came back in three days and installed it. By far, most of the cost was for the laser light. The repair cost was modest. Unfortunately, it turns out that because the ice maker hadn't worked for three weeks, the waterline into the ice maker froze, so we still didn't have ice. Rick came back out (free of charge), thawed out the line, and it works great now. I will definitely call Rick back if (when) we have another appliance issue.

He was very nice. I called him the morning and he was here in the afternoon. He had recently graduated from college when we had used him and he was very professional.

It went great. I left a message and got a call back the same day, Rick said he could come and look at the machine early the next morning, which he did, and he had the part with him to fix this. I think he was in and out in under an hour, and gave me the price as soon as he finished looking at the machine. This is a local business, which I prefer to use, had been around quite a while, and I can see why Rick's gets such high ratings on Angie's list. I would definitely call Rick's again if I have a problem.

I submitted an e-mail request for service on my washer (as per Rick's website), and have not received any response. Poor service for a company with the name and quot;Rick's same day appliance repair serviceand quot;.

My freezer was so backed up with ice, causing water to drip inside of my refrigerator and overflowing into my freezer. I found Rick here on Angie’s List, gave him a call, left him a vm, he returned my call in about an hour. I made an appt with him, he showed up when he said he would. Nice guy, professional, knowledgeable, explained to me what the problem was in a way I could understand. He unclogged the pipe where the water drains when your freezer defrosts. He was done in about 20 minutes and it’s been working perfectly ever since. I no longer have to use a butter knife every day to defrost my freezer and no longer need the plastic containers I had catching the water in my refrigerator. I'm happy!

The details...are as follows...I called...he showed up......did nothing and charged me $69.95 and told me it was fixed....blamed it on me ..and told me the problem was from cleaning my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher....he BS'ed me out of $70..and sadly he has been fixing my family's problems for years....and have even given him commercial work...disgraceful....bad ethics

Nothing to report..money was taken but nothing was even looked at..

I ordered and supplied the part, he installed it. He showed up on-schedule and charged me a reasonable price of $80. I would use him again.

Left message February 19, 2014. He called back the same day and appointment was made for the next day. He was on time. He charges $69.95 for him to come out and check out the problem. My dryer was not getting hot. After he looked at everything to try out find out what the problem was. It was my electrical box. He didn't have to fix it. One of the breakers was not clicked all the way over. Therefore the dryer was not getting enough power to get hot. He was honest about this and i only paid the initial fee of $69.95 for hime to come out. I would definitely use him agian.

Based on all the great reviews for Rick's Appliances, I decided to give him a call to check out a malfunctioning washer. I left voice mail for Rick on the evening of Thursday, Jan. 20 stating that my washer wouldn't go into the spin cycle. He returned my call early the next morning to set up a window of time to visit and diagnose the problem. He found the problem almost immediately and had a replacement switch in his truck. In less than an hour, Rick had the machine working like new again! In addition, I asked Rick what the cause might be for my refrigerator not dispensing water. He found out that the water line going into the fridge was supplying water and the problem was probably a frozen line inside the door. He told me to simply cover the inside part of the freezer door with a towel to insulate the place where the line was which should get the ice to melt. I did so and, presto, within 24 hours, the water line thawed and it works like new. There was no charge to check the water line or for the advice for a fix. Thanks, Rick! Rick has a great personality, acted professionally, came in a timely manner, and was spot on in diagnosing and fixing the problem. I won;t hesitate calling him should I have a problem with any of my other appliances. I highly recommend Rick based on his knowledge, great work, and fair pricing.

Theyrepeatedly came outtorepairawasher. The wrong part was ordered twice and after that they never showed up or replied to calls.

The dishwasher in our new house didn't get the dishes clean, so I found Rick on Angie's List and called. He came out the next day, right on time, and had the problem fixed in just a few minutes. It was a relatively low-tech problem, and he made no effort to make it any more complicated (or expensive) than needed, which I appreciated. The bill was very reasonable. We'll certainly use him again with any appliance problems.
