.Rick picked up the car at my house and returned it that afternoon so it was very convenient. And, the car looked exactly like new with nary a dog hair anywhere. Rick really did a super job and was very pleasant to deal with.

After checking on several auto detailing shops in the Haverford/Ardmore area, I decided to use Rick's. The services cost slightly more than others in the area, but they have received excellent reviews from previous customers. When I contacted him, Rick was quite helpful/flexible in finding a day/time for him to pick up the car. Initially, my car was not dirty (in fact, it had been cleaned inside/outside at a drive-through wash seven days ago) and I maintained it well, but I wanted to REALLY clean the car. Rick picked it up at the scheduled time. Because I was not at home at the time of drop-off (4pm), he agreed to return to my house later to pick up the money. Before he stopped by, I had a few minutes to review his work and realized that the car had not been cleaned adequately. Actually, it appeared that some areas did not seem to have been cleaned (see list below). For example, I noticed the light dirt on the surface of the interior (plastic surface), which had been there that morning. When Rick arrived, I reviewed these items with him (I referred to these items as "reasonable expectations for full detailing service"). He agreed that these items were not cleaned properly. He picked up the car back next day and returned. I checked the car that morning, and he addressed all things listed in the list I gave him. I would have given an "F" for the initial work he did, but he was able to address all items I requested and completed them well. I would recommend that you review their work when your car is ready. The areas we discussed were the following: - Hairs/dust/dirt on driver and passenger side carpet - Center console: dust and marks throughout the area - Light switch: still has dirt and dust on the knob (please check) - Driver/passenger/back seats: all have dust/dirt in crevice - Rubber cover in cargo area: can still see dirt and soap marks (?) that weren?t there before - Inside of Cargo/trunk door (that opens to cargo area) need to be cleaned - Cargo area: sides underneath the windows were not cleaned (or it was not done properly), such that you will be able to see dirt/marks.

I spilled an entire bottle of red wine on the tan interior rug of my 2009 Altima. Rick took care of it and the rest of the detailing was first-rate. Friendly people who seem really committed to quality!

I had pet dander in my car causing me allergies. So, I had my car dealer do an "interior detailing" service. After the dealer's job, i was still suffering from the dander allergy and it was compounded by some fragrances added in the dealer detailing process. My car is 90,000 miles travelled, but well kept. I called Rick's to see if they could help eliminate the dander. Rick quoted a cost for a complete interior detail, answered various questions I had about the process and the expected results, scheduled an appointment, and, at my, request, agreed to retrieve my car at my office and return it same day. On the day scheduled, he was there waiting for me in my office in office parking lot, returned with the car to his shop, performed the detail, and returned the car on or before the time estimated in immaculate interior condition (even restoring the color of the dash and doors), and most important, with the dander problem solved. He also went above and beyond to dress up my tires. The cost stated above was somewhat higher than his "advertised" price due to extra pick up and delivery service, since he was quite a distance from my office and the travel to and from consumed extra time. He explained that extra charge right up front in our first conversation and adhered to amount quoted. My experience is that "detailing" can be a highly variable service in terms of quality of work. I was entirely satisfied by Rick's service and adherence to his stated estimate, effort, schedule and quality of work. The service exceeded my expectations.

It went really well - they picked up my car from my home and returned it after the job was done. The car looks fabulous, and they were able to remove the paint scratches. I couldn't be happier with the service.

Asked Angie's list associate to send me auto detailers in my area (Newtown Square, PA) Rick's was the top of the list. He did an excellent job on my mom's 2005 Honda Accord (Hunter Green metallic) which had just been mildly scraped up by a drunk driver. He completely removed the scratches with the exterior compounding and waxing and made the car look brand new. Interior as well looks new. Wheels and engine were brought up to as new as possible considering previous damage to alloy wheels. Excellent, professional service.

It went really well. I have a black car, so you can see everything wrong with the paint. And it seems as if this model of Acura has extremely soft paint. I had bad (car wash?) swirls all over the car. And because I live in an area with a lot of trees (lotsa pollen, bird crap, leaves, tree sap) and no garage, I use the automatic car wash like every other week. Along with the swirls, I had the hard water trail mark stains that went from the door handles down to the bottom of the car. Even when the car is dried, I guess when I start driving, all the water in the door jambs and other traps in the car start to leak out and all the car wash fluids formed trail marks and I couldn't get out. Well, they took care of the swirls and the car wash trails. They came at 8:30am right on the dot at my request to pick up the car. He said he'd drop it off at 4:30pm and he was there right on the dot. I wasn't sure if they used a claybar for detailing at first but after I got the car back, it looks like they claybarred the h*** out of it. It looks like their claybar picked up all the crap on my car that I became used to seeing. I totally need to learn how to claybar so I could do spot treatments in emergency (bird doodoo, after automatic car wash use) situations. I have psoriasis which in turn means I have really dry skin and dry scalp. My carpets and leather seats were nasty with dry skin/dandruff flakes. He got all of it. although they're not the type of detailing place to restore old car paint (at least I didn't see any options of hardcore stage 4 detailing and restoration to have a 20 year old car whose paint is severely oxidized and rusted and have it car show ready in 4 days...I believe only places like Oakes Detaling half an hour away are like that) I'll definitely use them again.

He was to pick up the car around 8:00 and call first. He did not call. showed up to get car, said he would call when done. He called around 5:00 said he was outside my home with the car.I don't know why he can,t use a phone.Like I said, he need's it look up the word detail in the dictionary

Rick came to house on time and picked up the car and returned it on time the same day. As promised, the stains were gone and the paint was removed from the bumper/quarter panel. He even touched up a couple of spots where the paint was actuall remove. My wife and I were very pleased with Ricks work and I am happy to report that the inspection was performed on the Tiguan yesterday and the inspector found no excessive wear and tear to the vehicle that I could be charged for. I highly recommend Rick and will use his services in the future.

Our car needed a decent cleaning. While we don't have pets or run a construction business or anything, we do have a child, and the back seat had borne the brunt of his snacks, spilled drinks and footprints. Rick's did an AMAZING job. The car came back like I'd just driven it off the lot. Service was top notch, and Rick was kind enough to get the car back early so I could get to an appointment with plenty of time. We will certainly be using Rick's in the future.

My mother had recently passed away and I was left with her car. I wanted to give this car as a gift to my oldest daughter to use as transportation in college. Before I could do that the car needed to be thoroughly cleaned. The problem was that as mom got older she was having problems controlling her bladder function and her car reeked. Rick came out, picked up the car, did a fabulous job cleaning and detailing the car to the point where the overpowering smell of urine was negated to almost nothing. There was still a faint odor but I don't think anyone could have done a better job detailing the vehicle. Overall I was very pleased with the work done for the price.

Rick's detailing was the epitome of a great service at a great price. I called to have our Mini Cooper detailed to put it up for sale. The car was a mess! My husband is a mountain bike racer and he and his friends had managed to dirty ever single surface of the car. In addition, we have a blond-haired mutt that had shed all over the black carpets. Rick picked up the car two days after I called for an appointment - had it back a four hours later and it was perfect. perfect!

This service picks up and delivers, so Rick left the chase car in my driveway, parking without checking in with me first, and drove my car to his shop. He was startlingly angry and upset about having to return to move his car (because of tree work I was having done), but I suppose people skills aren't particularly important in his line of work and there's no denying he did a splendid job on the car. (I've never paid to have my car detailed before, by the way, so I really have no idea about how his charges compare to others, so I hedged with the "B", for "Good".)

The man who detailed my black,1982 Mercedes-Benz for many, many years gave up his business. For two years I tried several other detailers, but none compared to the job that had been done until I learned of Rick on Angie's List. Rick did a superb job, as good or better than my former favorite detailer. He also picked up my car and returned it at the times specified, which was a great convenience. I like people who adhere to a given schedule.

It takes him about four to five hours. It went great. He came to where I work and got my car and then brought it back which is what he does for most of his clients.

It was very detailed. They are a little bit more expensive than other places, but they did a much better job.

CAME OUT TO MY JOB AND PICKED UP MY CAR FOR ME AND DETAILED IT WHILE I WAS AT WORK AND BROUGHT IT RIGHT BACK! CAR LOOKS EXCELLENT!
