Description of Work: Joe and his group powerwashed and stained the deck, playset, and patio gate (fenced in area for gas meter and pipes). Right off the bat, Joe impressed me with his promptness, courtesy, and professionalism. When he knew he was going to be late for the estimate, he called to ask if it was OK to come a a different time. (Many contractors show up late or not at all, and don't even have the courtesy to call saying they're going to be late.) He honored the Angie's List discount (his listing has a Angie's List coupon). He explained what we was going to (powerwash, let several days to dry, then come back for the staining), left color samples, gave the address (with owner's permission) of a recent deck job, and came back to stain on day he said he would come. His crew was polite, neat, and did a good job. When he came at the end of the job to check on things, he did some touching up himself to ensure high quality. A couple weeks later I asked him to come back to give me an estimate for painting the house. He did, but advised the house could wait another year for a full paint job. In summary, he was professional, courteous, accommodating ("the customer is always right"), honest, and did a good job.

Description of Work: I wanted to tell you how pleased we were with him and his service. The painter is Joe Egan, telephone number is 610-745-9016. Joe's estimates were what we paid. No hidden costs. He provided paint swatches for us to look at and select our paints. He was personable. Joe's crew included his son and another painter. These guys were pretty much on time and they put in a full day's work. The guys were professional and very pleasant. We have plaster walls with several big cracks - Joe's crew worked on those cracks for several days to get them so they would not show again, and he guaranteed his work, unlike other professional painters we have hired. Overall we were very pleased with Joe and his team. We would definitely (and have already) recommend this vendor to others.

Description of Work: We were looking for a painter for my parents' house which was on the market to be sold. Joe responded quickly and came out to give an estimate when it was convenient for me. His estimate was fair and I would call him again. We sold the house in question which negated the need to have it painted, so we are unable evaluate the quality of his work.
