Joe Egan Painting

Joe did an absolutely fantastic job, the cornice on the front of the building looks night and day different! The garage door looks great too and Joe was able to cover the dark original color of it and get the wood looking good despite it seeing many years of wear! I would absolutely recommend him to people and plan to use him again!

Joe is a consummate gentlemen and professional. He was always prompt and worked hard to deliver everything we needed. He helped us pick the exact colors and made it easy for us to manage the project in the time frame that worked best for us. He was very flexible doing this project during the summer, particularly managing his availability when we were away. There were several things that we did not expect we would need to address when taking on this project (rotting shutters and sills, places that needed extra attention, etc.), but Joe was up front with us each step of the way and did his best to minimize the additional costs which we really appreciated. While we ended up spending more than the original quote, Joe always made sure we knew what our choices were and never made us feel pressured to spend more than we wanted. We feel very good about the work that was done and highly recommend Joe Egan Painting. In fact, we are having Joe come back and do some interior touch up work this fall.

The painter dave arrived on time and ready to work he was very kind and professional. He finished on time and didn't waste any time.

Joe came over one Saturday morning to take a look at the playground/swing set in my backyard. He provided me with detailed information on what his team could do, provided an estimate and also gave me some advice on various types of stains I could use. I was getting several quotes, so I let him know that I'll be in touch to schedule the work pending other quotes. A couple of weeks later, I called him to schedule the work. His quote was comparable to others, but I went with Joe since he was very responsive to all my calls. He quickly scheduled one of his guys to pressure wash. He asked if Sunday was ok and did the work on Sunday. Then two guys came back on Tuesday to stain the playset. His guys were excellent - on time, very professional, detailed, friendly, and really took the time to get the work done properly. I am extremely happy with the outcome. Its a 13+ year old playset, and it looks brand new.

The deck looks beautiful. Joe's staff did a very good job of staining and cleaning the deck. They did get some paint on the siding and in the hot tub which we needed to clean. Joe did a great job of getting back to me and addressing all my questions. I would definitely use Joe Egan again.

It went perfect. His team was on time and very professional. The deck look like new and it's over 15 years old. I also called Joe two times just to ask some questions and he returned both my call quickly. Joe and his team gets an A+ in my book.

Joe and his team are excellent. First and foremost, the work was high quality and met my expectations. The price was right in line with other estimates I received. The most exceptional thing about Joe is his communication and professionalism. Joe returned my call asking for a quote immediately. He was very helpful and informative; he spent a good deal of time with me on the phone offering advice about my particular situation, and helping me choose the the best solution to meet my needs. After I contracted him to perform the work, Joe was very good about calling me and keeping me up-to-date with the status of the job, which I appreciated very much. There was a lot of rain around that time, so it was very difficult for his team to schedule an exact date (because they were going to be painting outside and had to wait for sunny weather). Joe would call me and tell me when they were planning to come; and then if it looked like rain, he would call ahead of time and tell me that they were going to postpone, and he would tell me when they were going to come back. They completed the job within a week of when I first contracted them, and I definitely appreciated the constant communication throughout the process. His workers did a great job: they were professional, courteous, and very friendly. They left my deck and yard clean and tidy after the work was done. I would definitley use Joe Egan Painting again.

Joe was a total professional. We needed to understand the scope of a job we were planning to do and Joe made the time to come see the job, speak with us about what it would entail and the cost. He is an honest, stand-up guy. We will definitely use him in the future and recommend his company to friends.

Joe and his team did an excellent job in our house. We moved in fairly recently and the wallpaper was from the previous owners. Joe's team arrived timely and cleaned up at the end of the project. They efficently removed the wall paper (which included 4 layers) in the areas that we requested. It was difficult to get the paper off the walls and they were in terrible shape once the paper was off. Joe's team then patched and primed the walls. They also fixed the where the railing was attached to the wall going up the stairs. When the work was completed, the walls were in pristine shape and looked like new dry wall was installed. Joe's team did a fabulous job painting and the finished rooms are great. During the entire job, Joe actively communicated any issues his team was encountering and ensured that the work met his high standards. I am extremely happy with the level of service and finished product.

This is a wonderful company. Joe returned my call quickly. He gave me an estimate quickly. The work of his crew was perfection! They are clearly detailed oriented, meticulous and very professional. It is amazing how much better the rooms look. Not only was the job done perfectly, the crew was very professional and kind. I will be using them to have exterior painted as well.

I initially called and left a voice mail for Joe Egan. He called back later that same day and scheduled time to come out and estimate the job. Joe came out the next day to estimate the job and then came back again with the person who was actually going to do the work to review the scope of the job. We were under some fairly tight time constraints and Joe was able to schedule the job done within a few days of our initial contact. The technician, Chuck, who actually did the power washing did an incredible job. The patio looks brand new. But aside from the great job of power washing all of the places around the house that needed it, Chuck could not have been more polite and professional. He was very neat and it was a pleasure to have Chuck and Joe here.

WOW! It is always a great event when work by a contractor exceeds expectations. I initially found Egan from Angies list. I got two other bids before proceeding. Egan was lowest but within 5% of another bid. He was the only one however that arrived with his own name on his shirt. That pride and quality was evident throught. The painting took approximately 5 days, including a Saturday. A crew of 4-5 arrived everyday at about 7:45am and immediately began work. They did not bother me and only rang the bell on day one. At the end of the day all materials were neatly gathered. Joe called throughout the process to confirm everything was going well and always thanked for the work. The crew was always courteous and professional. Joe Egan Painting is highly recommended!!

Joe called very promptly and came out to provide an estimate. He was very friendly and provided a very thorough estimate. It was the best price of anyone I contacted (and I contacted 6 painters). Unfortunately I had a family illness and have not yet been able to schedule the job. I would definitely hire him!

I left a message for Joe and he got back to me the same day. He was able to look over the job the next day and provided a quote immediately. Our single story approx. 1200sq ft. home has aluminum siding that is probably 40 years old and was in need of cleaning. He was very up front about what to expect and pointed out that the siding would lose some paint as the finish was ?chalky? when touched. The job turned out well and the roof and siding are both looking much better. (Unfortunately Joe was right about the paint.) The work was performed within a week of getting the estimate and Joe was very good at communicating. The original estimate was $1100, but when Joe was able to complete the roof and house pressure wash the same day he reduced the bill to $800. He did not have to do that, but said he thought it was the right thing to do. I will recommend Joe?s company to anyone who needs this kind of work done.

Excellent. Joe came promptly to give an estimate. Scheduled the wrok in the time frame that he initially stated. Arrived on time and worked straight through until accomplished the entire job. Good clean up each day and when finished. Price was competitive and the house looks great!

From getting the quote through the end of the work the staff was professional and friendly. They also worked with me on the dates because I had a time crunch.

Joe was great! On time for estimate and each and every work day. Very responsive and called back immediately whenever we called him. The work performed was as promised and in the time frame indicated. Would highly recommend. A very pleasant experience. We had ceiling and room damage from a sprinkler leak and you could never tell!

These guys were great, I really cannot say enough about them. They did a fantastic job, everything they were going to do they did and it was in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone who ask (which I have). Overall it was a great experience.

It went perfectly. The crew arrived on time, did all the work requested and then some. As an added service, they also washed our 38' class A motor home. Great care was taken with our plantings and other items surrounding the house. Simply excellent.

Joe returned my initial call almost immediately. WIthin a day or so, he came over to the house, did a walkaround, and provided me an excellent proposal and pricing on the spot. It was clear from the way he was describing what would get done that he had done this many times before. I accepted his proposal and we agreed that the job would be done within a few days. As promised, Joe called back and scheduled the work to be done within 2 days. His workmen showed up on time, and finished the job in sbout 5 hours, including trimming back some overgrown shrubs thats would have gotten in the was of completing the job properly. His workman had to move their truck a few times wo allow th kids to get their cars out, no problem at all. The workmen were courteous, well mannered, and were quite careful about how the job was done. Joe had said that some of the mold looked like it had worked its way intot he stucco and might not come out, but his team got every bit of mold off all the surfaces of the house. The cleanup afterwards was excellent; except for a house that now looks like new, you could not tell anyone had been there at all. Joe's team will defininitely get more work from me in the future!

Joe visited on a Saturday to give us an estimate. His crew came out the following week and performed the work. They were punctual, professional, and reasonably priced. They pruned some bushes and trees in order to have access to place a ladder near the siding. They were careful with the landscaping and did very good work!

Extremely well, Joe and his men were very courteous. The only issue was some confusion over the start date but I definitely would recommend him and will use his services again when needed.

We had a former bedroom and sitting area converted to a family room. The contractor's estimate included painting but at the end of the work the contractor informed us that the painter could not do the job for another three weeks. This was unacceptable so we checked with Angie's list and found Joe Egan. What a great find it was. We called joe late in the day but he was able to come over the next day. He gave us an estimate and date for the job on the spot and followed through and delivered a first class, and I mean a first class job. The guys were on time, very clean, neat, and professional. The room looks great! We will be doing other projects that involve painting and Joe will get every job. We highly recommend Joe for any of your painting needs. He's a great guy who does great work! Hard to find these days but Joe is the man! Thanks Joe for a beautiful job.

Joe was quick to respond to my inquiry through this website. After we spoke on the phone he was out to give me an estimate within a couple days. His estimate was on par with a few others I had received but he was very personable and helpful in answering the questions I had. Did a good job pressure washing and replacing 3 boards on my deck. Also replaced the lattice around the base as well. I had some areas of mildew on the siding of my house as well that he had cleaned free of charge. Good guy, did good work. Would consider for future projects.
