BUD'S DRAIN CLEANING

Bud was easy to contact by phone, punctual, and professional. He was able to come out the same day to clean out a sewer pipe. He cleaned up afterwards. I was not home when he did the work. It's accessible from the outside. I would definitely use him again.

When Bud called me back and I explained the problem, he suggested I try a simple fix, which I did, and it worked. I offered to pay him for the advice and he told me that he was simply happy to help, no payment needed. So I asked the name of his favorite charity, and I wrote a modest check out to them, a donation in Bud's name, to express my gratitude. An honest tradesman.

It went fine. I would recommend them to anyone.

We needed a plumber to assess our slow drain situation. Bud was the only plumber out of 5 that we called that actually called us back, and we arranged for him to come to our house on Thursday morning. He asked that I call him first thing on Thursday morning to make sure he had all the correct information (this raised some red flags, but we needed him, so fine). I took the morning off work, and called him first thing. He doesn't answer and I leave a message. He calls me back a couple hours later and says that he doesn't actually service my area (even though he's listed as being local) and he needed to call his and quot;local guyand quot; instead. I don't know why he didn't tell me this originally, it would have saved me from missing 4 hours of work. His and quot;local guyand quot; calls me and says he cannot come out until later that afternoon. We arrange for Saturday instead since I don't want to miss a whole day at work. For the next several hours my phone rings nonstop with different secretaries calling me about and quot;Mr. Dand quot; (no other information about who this and quot;local guyand quot; is or what company it is) coming to assess my slow drain on Saturday morning. These secretaries apparently don't communicate with each other because throughout the day and Friday they keep calling me with different information (Mr D will be coming between 11 and 2, Mr D will be coming first thing in the morning, etc); each call contracdicts the information from the last one... The secretary calls and asks if they can just send arrange for a cleaning, it will cost $129. I say that's not necessary because I don't think it needs a cleaning, it needs to be assessed by a plumber to determine if it's a crushed line. She assures me that Mr D will be coming out to look at it himself. Mr D then calls me to tell me he will be out to look at the situation. Okay, cool. Saturday comes around and they call and tell me they can't come out afterall. Then I get a call that they are on their way. (Again, it's like dealing with a schizophrenic, all these contradicting messages.) Two cleaning men arrive, and they tell me they can't assess the situation, they only do cleanings. Awesome, so these guys wasted my time and I have to start the process over with a qualified plumber this time. I hate to give negative feedback, because Bed genuinely seemed like a nice guy, but really they just wasted my time and couldn't tell me anything. I don't recommend, unless you can sit home all day and wait for them to show up.

He came out the same day I called him, and arrived on time. He was very nice and professional. He was here for just under twenty minutes. Most of that unloading equipment and then reloading it after the job was done. About five minutes to snake the drain. $160 for a twenty minute house call. Comes with a three month guarantee. A bit pricey by my book.

At the suggestion of our plumber (which we found on Angie's List), we called Bud's Drain Cleaning to set up an appointment to clean out a drain in a sink that was gurgling after the water was shut off. I called Bud's Drain Cleaning at about noon on a Friday and got a call back on Sunday afternoon. We set up an appointment for the next day (Monday) at noon. On Monday, I left work and went home to wait for him to show up. I arrived home at just before noon and waited . . . and waited. I tried calling at 12:30 to see if he was running late and left a message. When 1:30 came, I headed back to work and left a message asking to reschedule. Bud's Drain Cleaning called back a few hours later and left me a voicemail saying that he was on a and quot;job from h***and quot; and couldn't make it out to clear out my drain and that was why he didn't show up. He asked me to give him a call back to reschedule. I called back and left messages both later that afternoon and again the next day, but I never heard back. I called another drain cleaner who came highly recommended on Angie's List and was able to get the drain cleared out the next day.

He came the same day we called, after business hours, and did his job thoroughly and efficiently. He was very professional and we were happy with his work.

Bud contacted me immediately and was able to fit me into his schedule same day. He arrived on time and fixed my problem very quickly. He was very informative and gave me some great tips on how to maintain my system. He also provided me with a sink guard (for free) to prevent future disposal jams.

I recommended Bud to my daughter when a BIG hvac and plumbing company could not clear their drain. Bud came the same day they called him. He arrived a little late but within the hour they were told. He cleared the drain with a half hour. He was polite and cleaned up everything when he was done. My daughter said she would recommend him and use him again.

Great. He called back quickly and came over the same day. Only did what was needed and gave us some tips about things to look for in the future.

Bud is worth waiting for! He is a very experienced man. He corrected a problem at our home that the average plumber would have dug up our sidewalk and yard to correct the problem, but Bud did not. We did have to wait over a day for his services, but we are glad we waited for him. We highly recommend Bud's Drain Cleaning.

Bud showed up on time on a rainy day, cleaned the sewer line, and gave me a simple easy to follow recommendations on how to keep it clean on my own in the future. All at about 50% of the cost of my previous contractor. If this isn't an unbeatable service and value, than I don't know what is. Highly recommended.

I would not use him again. I thought he way over charged me for a simple cleanout. I had to have it cleaned out again. I had to have it cleaned out quite a few months laters. It may not have been his fault, but I wasn't happy with it. Other people wouldn't charge that price. I wasn't aware that it was going to cost that much. He said that he had to do extra work and that it was going to cost extra. I would tell people to be careful. I think he tried to take advantage. I would say get a quote before you have him come out there. It was a simple drain cleaning. He snaked it and that was it. I think the basic price is around $100.00.

Left message in the morning and Bud came the same day. He was on time and worked around my schedule. The laundry floor drain works better than it ever has. Over the years two other plumbers have tried but never opened it up like Bud.

Easy to schedule, on time, explained what needed to be done, completed job, cleaned up. Never had a problem again.

Bud came promptly after our call, within a day. He was friendly but efficient, and really knows his stuff. When he could not clear from the outside of the drain he came in and cleared from inside our basement. He also advised us to get a new toilet and to cover the gutter inlets to reduce drain clogging. We have had no trouble with our drains since then, and recommended But to a number of neighbors.

He was very good. I haven't had any problem since he did the work. He was fine. He was reliable and got back to me. He showed up and got it done even though he had a lot of jobs. The price was very good.

Bud's the man! He was able to clear a drain that couldn't be cleared with a power auger. He just came in and did it.

He is very good when it comes to dealing with old pipes. Handling old pipes is a very delicate job because they can break. Some plumbers hesitate to work on old pipes.
