Bob White did an awful paint job. He only did one coat and left. I saw paint drops all over my floor. He protected the area, but he rushed through everything. He did not do the two coats of paint as promised.
Description of Work: He painted my kitchen.

Bob was very personable upon his first visit. The price was good, and he said he was able to accommodate our timeline. We made arrangements to stay at a relative's house during the week that he was going to be painting, and gave him a key so that he could get his work done. When we returned, we found that in a week's time Bob had only started ONE of the SEVEN rooms, and hadn't even completed that one room! According to him, his "help" never showed up, so he was doing our whole house alone. We were so disappointed. We calmly told him that we'd pay him for the one room he painted, but that we were going to find someone else to finish the job. Hearing that he was going to lose the job, he went into panic mode, and suddenly he had two helpers! They spent a day painting, and were able to complete most of the rooms. Bob then asked us for more money so he could "pay his help." We gave him almost all of the money he quoted us for. It was then that he informed us that he would not be able to come back and finish the job (basement and touch-ups) for several weeks. When, again, we told him that this would not work (our baby was due to be born, he had already wasted a lot of time, and we needed to get the job done before the baby came), he showed up at our house one morning and literally screamed his head off on our front porch. He was mad that he "busted his tail" for us, and we didn't understand his work schedule. We simply felt that he gave us a timeframe, and he was full of excuses from day one.
Description of Work: Interior painting of living room, dining room, foyer, stairway and hallway, master bedroom. He was also supposed to do our finished basement, but he never got that far.
