Seth and his team were a joy to work with. They were prompt in showing up, scheduling and submitting estimates. Always friendly and helpful on the phone. The crew that installed the system were professional, thorough and clean. Very responsive to requests I made without any tension back and forth. Seth also worked collaboratively with me to size the system to my specific needs in a way that actually saved me a few hundred dollars. I would highly recommend them!!

From beginning to end the job was seamless. The work was completed over a two day period, the technicians, Anthony and Daryl were clean and professional. The workmanship was impeccable, everything neat, lined up and secured. The sheet metal work was fabricated on the job but you couldn't tell it from work accomplished in a fabricating shop. The office shaft schedule the work per my request and sent emails with the names of the technicians the day before. After the work was completed they sent all the paperwork for rebates ready to sign and mail. The whole experience was truly and pleasure. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

This was a tricky job, because there was not a whole lot of room in the attic above the third floor, and because they had to run ducts from the attic to the second floor ceiling. Several contractors who looked at the job basically said it was too difficult for them. Of the contractors who would take it on, the estimates were about 10K more than Adam. When Seth came out to look at the job he immediately began planning for how they could make it work given my requirements and my goal not to disturb the historical character of the house. He and Zack then went over the placement of each duct with me prior to my signing the contract. Once installation began, I was constantly in touch with the foreman and with Zack about what exactly they were doing to make the system functional and to keep the impact on the house to a minimum. In the two and half weeks they were on the job, I was consistently impressed with their professionalism and with their responsiveness to my concerns. I would definitely use them again.

Woke up on a Friday morning and realized the house was warmer than is should be. Sure enough the A/C did not appear to working correctly. The blower unit was working fine, but the outdoor compressor was not running. I called Adam Mechanical and they were on site in just a couple of hours. Tech Mike performed some basic troubleshooting and quickly found the trouble - a bad contactor in the condensor unit. Mike had the part on the truck and had the A/C running again in no time at all. I've used Adam Mechanical once previously, which was on the Fourth of July about 2 years ago, and Mike was the tech on that trouble call as well. During this previous issue, I was also very satisfied at his ability to quickly diagnose the trouble. I will definitely use Adam Mechanical in the future!

In early March I started collecting estimates for the installation of Central Air in the top two floors of my home (attic and 2nd floor). One provider had an estimate that was significantly higher than the others, and another provider quoted me for high velocity even though I clearly asked for conventional and discussed it with them when they came out to give the estimate. That left three to choose from. Out of those three, I thought Adam Mechanical was the best fit for what we wanted. The price was in the middle of the other two, and the lowest bidder calculated a system size that was smaller compared to those given by other providers. That scared me a little. I thought Seth from Adam Mechanical was incredibly thorough as we walked around the house discussing all of the aspects of the job to the extent of asking if we planned on replacing the original single pane windows with new windows at some point. Also, Seth was very thorough when analyzing where the outdoor unit was going to be placed and pointed out the challenges based on the structure of the house. Once work began, the team was very professional and very conscious of disrupting the home as little as possible. They laid down insustrial carpets to minimize dirt and dust being tracked through the house. This was especially important since the system was being installed in the attic. Zach, who handles installations, is very passionate about the quality of the work being delivered and made it clear to let him know if anything was unsatisfactory. Now, after having gone through a few heat waves with incredible humidity, I'm happy to say that the system is performing fantastically and the areas being cooled are more than sufficiently comfortable.

From the first visit for the estimate from Seth to the install by Daryl and Anthony everything was professional,courteous and on time. Seth worked with us on the right equipment for the right price. He worked with Rheem and Bryant on the rebates. The installers showed up on time worked hard and were accommodating to what was needed to be changed. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone.

We were very happy with Adam Mechanical. They ran gas into the house and removed the old oil furnace, oil tanks and old AC unit. They installed a new gas furnace and AC. They were very professional and polite, and they explained each step of the process to us. They cleaned up very nicely after themselves and were a pleasure to work with. Seth came to the job site to see how things were going and checked in regularly. Although it was a two day project, they went out of their way to ensure that we had heat during the night in between. Seth was very honest with us about what did and did not need to be replaced. We did not feel pressured at all, and we felt that he was looking at things from our perspective.

It was fine. Their office staff was nice when scheduling. They were also on time and all the necessary check-ups were made.

I purchase the gas furnace inspection, cleaning and tune up special from Adam Mechanical. I set the appointment for 8AM and technician arrived on time at 8AM exactly, the technician, Eric, came ready to work. He did the full inspection and Eric informed me I needed a blower fan clean out , which was reason why I recently had dust thru the house, he cleaned out the blower fan for $132.00. He cleaned entire area where he worked and was very respectful and courteous. I will be using them to service my AC come April. I would definitely recommend to other people.

It was great. I just like the fact that they show up, they do a very good job, they are not pushy when it comes to things that break or if they need to be repaired and they are very lenient in that which is nice. I don't like them telling you it is broken when it is not.

It was a seamless operation. I was very pleased with the service.

Seth came to the house, was prompt, courteous and the appointment was easy to schedule. Seth was VERY thorough in his evaluation of the current system and what my needs were. He inspected both systems along with the current lines and electrical box. I honestly wanted to use them but their pricing was 15% higher for similar efficiency/SEER systems which I attribute to the Bryant product. (6,900 for base system, 8,350 for more efficient system). If you are set on a Bryant system I would definitely call them.

Seth from Adam Mechanical conducted a pre-survey of our HVAC system. During the survey I was impressed with Seth's knowledge of the HVAC system. Seth performed the survey in a very professional and timely manner. He took time to explain to me the pros and cons of my system and what could be done to meet my needs. This was Tuesday July 2 and I told Seth I need to have a quote no later than Friday July 5 to be able to make a decision. I had 5 other contractors to provide bids as well, Horizon, Mattioni , Haller (thru Home Depot) Brandywine Valley and Signature. Seth had the proposal to me the night of July 2. Their price was not the lowest and also not the highest. I selected another provider. This is not a negative reflection on Adam Mechanical. I choose another provider because I had a recommendation from a friend who actually used that provider.

Adam Mechanical is a very professional organization. They take pride in all that they do. From the office staff who organizes the service calls or installation to the actual crews, they are terrific. I appreciate someone who tells me, "We don't need to replace this yet, but we'll probably need to do it next year - I just wanted to prepare you". No hard sell to do today what isn't really required. Polite, clean, prompt. They even wear booties in the house, so no 'workman's tracks' on the rugs. Very pleased that I made the switch to them.

Seth came to my home to provide an estimate for the work. He is very personable and professional. He took the time to explain everything to me and assess what was needed for my house. They had the overall best price and install plan. Seth does show concern about be economical. His workers showed up on time ready to work. They ran gas into the house and removed all the old oil furnace and old AC unit. They installed a new gas furnace, AC, and gas hot water heater. The install was neat and tidy. Seth came to the job site to see how things were going and checked in with me. I did have an issue, not related to the install, and Seth returned my call promptly (it was after hours). But I did give responsiveness a B because I was trying to have them do another smaller job for me and could never get it rolling with them.

seth samuel made a nice presentation, followed up appropriately, worked with me on the price, and upgraded some of the equipment without upping the cost. zack and his installation crew were entirely professional, worked hard, listened to my concerns, and accommodated me in every respect. i am very detail oriented, and i checked out the entire process. when there was a problem, and there were a several, given the idiosyncrasies of our old house (for example, the attic space under the peak of the roof was so small they had to change the initial plan and put the spacepak a/c unit behind a knee wall), they talked over the options or issues with me, and did not cut corners or hesitate to go the extra mile to find the right solution. they tried to be as clean as possible, which was difficult given that the attic was full of blown in cellulose insulation. i feel like they knew what they were doing, kept the job under control, even when it took them longer than they thought to pull it all together, and in the end both systems look and work like they are supposed to. i priced three companies, and these guys gave me the best combination of good equipment, good price, and good people.

OUTSTANDING - That is the word that best describes this company. I can't say enough good things about the company and the people who work there. From the first meeting with a very knowledgeable Seth giving us a prompt and very detailed estimate and handling all our questions, to the professional and efficient installation of all units by Darryl, J.P., and Dwayne, to the pleasant, courteous efficiency of Michelle in the office, we were nothing less than exceedingly pleased with every aspect of this experience. Michelle even wrote up the paperwork for us so that we could apply for our rebates. All the employees of Adam Mechanical with whom we dealt were hard-working, diligent workers, efficient and professional, even cleaning up after themselves. I can honestly say that I have never dealt with a more outstanding contractor than Adam Mechanical. I would HIGHLY recommend them, and I would definitely use them again. Very, very pleased.

It took a lot of time and a lot of visits but, they did get us switched over. Even with all the troubles that we had they could not have been nicer. They did finally rectify the situation. They were also always pleasant on the phone, which I appreciate. Also with all their visits, they could have been annoyed and rude, but they were so pleasant the whole time.

I took advantage of an offer on Angie's list for a Maintenance inspection on my gas-fired boiler. (I had not had one done in several years!) The Adams Mechanical office assistant who helped schedule the appointment was pleasant and efficient in scheduling an appointment. After setting up the appointment, I got an advertisement from Adam Mechanical in the mail announcing the same inspection for 10 dollars less. When the Adams technician, Mike arrived and I told him this, he immediately agreed to take $10.00 off of the final bill. Mike and his assistant were on time, friendly and got right down to work. Mike explained the results of the inspection carefully to me, pointing out to me what needed to be done for safety reasons and to correct a faulty wiring problem. He showed me the results after completing the work and I was satisfied with the quality and efficiency of the repairs he made. As a result of my excellent experience, I will be arranging for a yearly maintenance plan. I heartily recommend Adam Mechanical.
