Description of Work: Adam Mechanical handled our OIL -> Gas conversion. Seth was excellent and very professional through the entire process. The crew that did the actual conversion worked quickly and efficiently. The job included the removal of the old oil tank from our basement, which they took care of with no issues. They even scrubbed the floor when they were all finished. We had a gas boiler and water heater installed and I thought that the price was definitely worth it. We'll continue to use Adam Mechanical for our maintenance for many years to come.

Description of Work: Sent some one out when the blower on our heater failed. On Valentines evening! And of course the coldest night of the year. Professional, friendly and efficient. Part was avail on truck and fixed right away. Good service.

Description of Work: I had them come out to 'tune up' both the ac and the furnace. The tech measured currents and voltages, looked at the burners in action but made no adjustments. After thirteen years of no service I was surprised that nothing was needed. He did tell me that both starter capacitors were weak and should be replace at 178 dollars each. Online they are forty dollars each. But he did not pressure me and also said that is should be done soon but did not have to do it now. | |So I am not sure what to take away from the experience. They gave both pieces of equipment a thumbs up but did not make any adjustment. | |Well ...

Description of Work: I bought a deal from them for a gas furnace inspection, cleaning, and tune-up.

Description of Work: I called four local HVAC contractors when my furnace/AC went dead and I was having trouble getting a live human being on the phone. Adam set an appointment for that afternoon, and called back to ask if the tech could come earlier instead. (Yes, please!) Replacing the thermostat, then the wiring to the furnace did not solve the problem and then I was told the condensation pump needed replacing too. I was very unhappy, bordering on disgruntled. The next morning a I got a call from their office saying they had mailed a $250 refund. I can't help being impressed by this kind of commitment to customer satisfaction.
