Adam Mechanical Heating, AC + Plumbing

It took a lot of time and a lot of visits but, they did get us switched over. Even with all the troubles that we had they could not have been nicer. They did finally rectify the situation. They were also always pleasant on the phone, which I appreciate. Also with all their visits, they could have been annoyed and rude, but they were so pleasant the whole time.

I took advantage of an offer on Angie's list for a Maintenance inspection on my gas-fired boiler. (I had not had one done in several
years!) The Adams Mechanical office assistant who helped schedule the appointment was pleasant and efficient in scheduling an appointment. After setting up the appointment, I got an advertisement from Adam Mechanical in the mail announcing the same inspection for 10 dollars less. When the Adams technician, Mike arrived and I told him this, he immediately agreed to take $10.00 off of the final bill. Mike and his assistant were on time, friendly and got right down to work. Mike explained the results of the inspection carefully to me, pointing out to me what needed to be done for safety reasons and to correct a faulty wiring problem. He showed me the results after completing the work and I was satisfied with the quality and efficiency of the repairs he made. As a result of my excellent experience, I will be arranging for a yearly maintenance plan. I heartily recommend Adam Mechanical.

I had 4 Contractors come out for estimates and to learn a little myself. Seth returned my call right away & we setup app. After 5 minutes with him I thought he last name was Professional. This man told me everything I needed to know and then some. They had the best equipment, knowledge  & price. They did the job in two days the Mech. were clean friendly and answered anything I needed I asked. Then when the job was done Seth came back out to make sure it was all done the way he said it was going to be. I would recommend this company to anyone.

The serviceman was over 45 minutes late from the scheduled appt. time. Started off by making several negative comments about the
furnace unit, just based on initial sight, prior to the inspection. The furnace overall was running fine in the end. I will need to have the chimney liner and flute replaced. He had to rush to inspect the other furnace and complained I made him rush, because I had to be somewhere, even though he was the one late for the appt.!

If you had a higher grade than A, that's what I would give them. The technicians demonstrated a superior level of professionalism and gave detailed answers to every question that I had. The field supervisor was prompt to check on the progress of the workers and settled for nothing less than perfection.

We know that we needed to replace our central a/c.  We received three estimates from different companies.  Two of them would only replace the a/c with the replacement of our heating system as well.  Adam Mechanical told us that we should, at some point in the next two years, replace our furnace; that it would be more economical if we did it at the time of replacing the central a/c and that if we wanted the work done separately, they would be happy to oblige us.  Seth came out and met with us.  Our old system had a leak in it and even before he replaced it, he gave us a free freon charge for the old unit.  The other two companies, one of which we had a contract with, still wanted to charge us to come out and give us freon.  Adam Mechanical answered our calls within an hour.  Installation was great.  The men came out when they said they'd be here and were very clean and did not make a mess.  I would highly recommend them!

Our AC unit broke in the middle of a heat wave.  Adam Mechanical was the only company (of about 5) that was able to bring someone out within 24 hours of our call.  Seth came out first thing Sunday morning, working with us and our home warranty company to bring us the best fix so that we could have our AC working while minimizing out of pocket cost, even if it meant less business for him.  Seth was also incredibly personable, even inviting my 4-year-old nephew to "help" him work on the unit.  I would recommend Adam Mechanical to anyone.

Underbid other contractors by significant amount. Did efficient, timely job.

AC has worked fine so far during hot summer.

Steph was porffesional, on time, and easy to contact.  They did an excellent job, even came out on a Sunday to install an attic fan, which I requested as an add-on, and they were by far the lowest bidder of the 5 bids I received  I would recomend them to a friend.

Overall, the service has gone great. I did a bit of research before and the two installers were very professional, friendly, and personable. Answered all my questions without making me feel like I was boring them to death. They were neat and orderly in the way they left my property. Did a very good job of installation as the units look a lot better than when I purchased the home. I am very satisfied with everything. They also came in $1000 less than all of the other bids. I am just very happy and thrilled about the experience!

I called Adam Mechanical because they were on Angie's list and close to my home. I explained the situation - a home inspector had recommended a cleaning and inspection sooner rather than later - and Seth Samuel arranged to come out the same day and do an inspection. He arrived promptly as stated, the same day, before 6 PM, and inspected the furnace in the basement and the radiators throughout the house. He agreed that it needed cleaning but suggested that, since the entire system was functioning adequately, it was not strictly necessary to drain and do a full service for the system which would cost upwards of $700. He gave me a ballpark for a replacement system ($3500-$5000). He did not charge me for the inspection. I will be arranging to have him come back and clean the furnace and check the functionality of a particular gauge in the coming weeks.

Overall it went well. They came out to do an estimate within a week and were able to start within a couple of weeks. They arrived on time and were always professional and courteous.
