Fence City

Description of Work: I contacted Fence City and set up an estimate. Not only was their estimate competitive it beat the other local fence company by over $900.00. The crew arrived on the day they said they would be there and completed the job on time and exceeded my expectations. It's been 3 months since they installed the fence and it looks awesome. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a Fence. I purchased the white PVC fence, and recommend this type to anyone looking for maintenance free fence for years. No painting, staining, waterproofing, just a great looking fence.

Description of Work: We needed a fence installed rather quickly, as we were getting a puppy. The estimator came out within a day or two and our fence was put up in about a week, sooner than had been anticipated. The work was well done and the men were reliable and professional. |A few weeks after the fence was installed, I asked them to come and cut one of the posts next to the house a bit, as it interfered with opening a window. They sent someone out promptly and they took care of the problem. I would recommend Fence City.

Description of Work: We contacted three highly rated fence companies from Angie's List. By far, City Fence was the most difficult to deal with. Phone calls and emails went unanswered and a sales rep didn't show up to provide an estimate until several emails and a month after initial contact. The price was competitive, but their service customer was terrible. I would advise others not to waste their time with them.

Description of Work: We had a pressure treated wood privacy fence installed. Mike did the estimate and he was very helpful and knowledgeable and did a great job. During last season for installing fencing was so busy with Sandy that the waitlist was long. We had a lot of other work done to the landscape still due to the storm so everything was going to work out with timing anyway. |We actually got the fence installed at a perfect time with scheduling- they fit us in with some cancellations and being ahead of schedule so that was perfect for us and them! |The crew was very nice and on time! Even a bit early in the morning. |They installed the fence and were done the same day. There were minor issues with the quality of the wood, but it's wood! |The problem came after this winter when we noticed that 3 posted had bowed significantly and that the gaps seemed more predominant? We called to have them fix it and it just seemed like a lot of back and forth to have come out. Afterwards, without notice and us catching up on the phone to set a date and time for them to come and fix it- one day I noticed that they just came and fixed the posts? |I am very happy for that, but the communication was poor. |But my posts are fixed! Description of Work: I was looking for a company to build a trash enclosure according to the specs of my HOA. They were very responsive and helpful. Even when the job was too small for their business, they referred me to another company, Backyard Medic and that worked out very well - they did a great job. Thanks for helping me out!

Description of Work: Removed and replaced fence with efficiency. Hard workers.

Description of Work: They fenced in our pool and yard using safety latches and dog freindly gates. They were very responsive and assisted us in designing the outdoor environment we wanted. They even used some of our older steel fencing in keep the cost within range. Great professional job! This was last year and the fence is just great!

Description of Work: bought materials from Fence City. Found them pleasant,helpful and knowledgeable. The "B" on quality is that I had to carefully inspect each piece and some were unacceptable, but they gave me "good" ones without a problem.

Description of Work: This company is really a supplier for other fence providers. They were completely uninterested in doing my "small" job. They referred me to 2 other contractors: one was WAY too expensive. The other also was not interested in creating an 8 foot pergola for me.

Description of Work: They installed 268 feet of pressure treated split rail fencing in my back yard including 3 gates (2 singles & 1 double gate).

Description of Work: They fenced our entire yard with aluminum (looks like wrought iron) fencing for pool protection. This was a very large job.
