The generator works. It was installed properly and that's great but we had a lot of problems I would say with administrative staff because we had a definite installation date but when we were sill on vacation in Houston, a few days before the installation date, the secretary called to say that she didn't know why we were on the schedule. Apparently they'd not recorded our appointment date so that was disappointing an then we had to wait for them to do the installation beyond the original date that we had asked for and they had confirmed. Unfortunately it never made it into their system and they hadn't ordered the generator. So come our installation date, they didn't have a generator to put in. Then we had a problem with them getting the paperwork from the township because it had to be permitted. We paid for the permit but we didn't get any written confirmation but we had the generator installed but strictly speaking it wasn't legal for us to use it. So that was annoying, it took some extra phone calls. They do great work, they just aren't terribly organized as far as the paperwork goes. I would probably use them again but I'd sort of have to sit on them figuratively speaking just to make sure that they were organized about whatever I wanted them to do. It probably was neither the most expensive or the least expensive that we could have gone with. The manufacturer gave us an extra warranty I think and that was good. We didn't have to pay for that. I think we looked into the cost of other providers for the same service and Powell was kind of middle of the road. It's usually what we aim for. We don't like to go with the cheapest, it's always good to pay less but you know the old adage 'you get what you pay for.' So as far as pricing goes, I think we were good with Powell. The generator passed inspection and once a week there is like a test run and it works every week on the same day at the same time like clockwork. So everything is good. I think they did a good job. They eventually showed up on the second appointment time that we were given after the mix up when they missed the first date, they showed up on that day and on time. They were very professional, they knew what they were doing. It was a huge job with a lot of people working inside and out and everybody did what they were supposed to do.

They're very nice guys. They talk to you without talking you down. Their price was a little high, but they're worth it.
