Nice work.

There were some trees in the way and I called several times to find out if they would remove the tree and I have not heard from them since. I will use them if we can get the problem straightened out.

Rick worked well with us. The came as scheduled. There were very responsive when post fence installation we did a closer inspection and noticed about a dozen fence posts that needed to be replaced. They replaced them in a timely manner.

They came when they said they would and installed the fence with no problem. The workmen were polite and neat.

The company sent a representative to my house to provide an estimate.(Not Rick Cannaly, who I expected, from reading previous reports.) She examined my old fence and recommended that the whole thing be replaced. Previously, I thought that the front and back should be replaced, but that the sides would last a few more years. She seemed knowledgeable and competent, and I believe she may be correct, since she pointed out the problem areas to me. She provided a book of pictures from which to choose materials and styles. The estimate was provided within a day or two. When I told them it was more than I had expected, (almost $10,000) they did not offer any further suggestions, which is why I rated them C for responsiveness. I expected more personalized service, given their high rating on this list.

I submitted an online request for an estimate and received a phone call within 30 minutes. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate within a few days and the representative was on time, professional and extremely nice. I scheduled a work date after receiving an estimate electronically (a hard copy was also mailed to my home). The crew got stuck in traffic on the morning of the job and called me well in advance to warn me that they might be late. The crew was efficient, professional, courteous and thoughtful. They showed a great attention to detail and left the work area clean. The new fence looks terrific.

I called Main Street Fence based on the info I saw on Angie's List. They came out to my house to give me an estimate on the date and time that we arranged. They called me to arrange a time for installation. Previous to the date, they called to confirm/remind me of the date. They arrived on time. The men who performed the work were very professional/courteous etc. To this point everything seems very good.

When we had a problem with one part of the fence after they installed it, they came right back out and replaced it free of charge. This is how excellent this company is with both the quality of what they do and the follow up. We were totally impressed and have since recommended them to others.

They showed up exactly on time with a full crew of friendly hard working workers. They were completely finished in 3 days, and I have had no complaints about their work. I highly recommend them, and everyone gives us great feedback on how well the fence flows with our landscape.

The fellows were very thorough, asking me to walk the perimeter before the job was begun. There was a discrepancy at one side of the yard as far as the placement of the fence. The problem was corrected before one post was placed. They worked efficiently since it was originally a two day job and they finished in one long day. They even helped me replace the temporary fence for my dog run. I would highly recommend this company and definitely would use them again.

I called Main Line Fence and they called me back immediately and gave me an appt. with Rick to have him come out and give me an estimate. Rick came when scheduled and gave me excellent feedback and ideas. I scheduled the work and the workers came on the scheduled day to install. The workers were excellent. They were extremely courteous and polite. It rained that day but they proceeded forward and finished the whole job in the inclement weather. They did an excellent job with the fence and I was very impressed with their professionalism and care. I would highly recommend Main Street Fence any time.

The overall experience was very, very pleasant. They responded to my initial email quickly, came out and provided an estimate as promised, scheduled the job quickly, and started and finished on time.

Rick came on time, gave an estimate by the next day, and is email friendly, which made things go quickly. He came to do work on time. They did a professional job in less time than the estimated. Workers were personable and cleaned up afterwards.

I highly recommend them, based on my experience. I cannot speak for how they install the fence though, as they did not do the work.

I did not hire Rick to do the work but felt his manner and approach was very professional. He came to give the estimate quickly, wrote it out, and it was delivered by mail the next week. Even though the estimate was more than what I could pay, I would try to hire Rick for some other work at another time.

Very pleased with the work. Rick was punctual, work was performed as promised. Would have them do work for me again. His price was very close to the other bid that I got for the same job, but he was flexible about my not being home on the morning that the fence was to be installed, which was great.

This is a great company to deal with. Rick the owner is personable and very attentive. Everything from the estimate through installation of the fence was on time and professionally done. The fence looks great. Their pricing was very competitive and I would certainly use them again.

Prompt, pleasant, helpful and thorough from beginning to end. As good an experience as I have ever had with a company. We had the fence replaced to keep our dog and rabbit from getting loose. I asked it to be low to the ground and when it wasn't low enough, they adjusted it to the proper height without a complaint. Took out overgrown vegetation and an old stump along with the old fence as well. The fence looks beautiful, our pets are safe and the neighbors are all oooing and aaahing. I highly recommend these guys if you have a chance to use them.

They finished the work in an astonishing two days and it looks fantastic. The fence serves its purpose of furnishing a little privacy and providing a security barrier around our pond, but is open enough that all our neighbors can enjoy our garden and pond as they pass. The workers cut nearly all the pieces by hand as they fit it around a large copper beech and snugly up against a curving pivot hedge.

This is a "no hassles company." We are very happy with both the journey and the end result, and we will use them again.

They were very professional. They came on time for an estimate and the work. The fence is beautiful.

The company staff were polite, on time and reliable. While their bid was the highest of the 3 bids I received, I believe the service and the products were superior. A very positive experience.

FENCE LOOKS GREAT, THEY WERE HERE ON TIME. THE JOB TOOK A BIT LONGER THAN THEY ANTICIPATED BUT THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND I WAS IMPRESSED WITH HOW WELL THEY CLEANED UP. FAST ESTIMATE WHICH WAS BY FAR THE CHEAPEST OF THE 3 ESTIMATES I RECEIVED. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

THEY DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB, AND BEGAN TO RESTORE MY CONFIDENCE IN CONTRACTORS (I HAD A LOT NOT CALL ME BACK THIS YEAR -- SPENT MONTHS TRYING TO GET PEOPLE TO COME OUT AND TAKE A LOOK AND THEN TO GET BACK WHO NEVER DID). THIS WAS THE MOST PROFESSIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. THE FENCE INSTANTLY IMPROVED THE LOOK OF OUR HOUSE FROM THE CURB. FROM THE TIME OF MY FIRST CALL THEY CALLED ME BACK THAT DAY, AND PROMISED TO HAVE AN ASSISTANT CALL BY THE NEXT MONDAY (A COUPLE OF DAYS AWAY) TO PUT US ON THE SCHEDULE! SHE DID CALL, AND SOMEONE CAME OUT TO MEASURE INSTANTLY AND GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE. I WAS SO IMPRESSED I PUT DOWN THE MONEY FOR A PORTION OF THE JOB, AND THEY CAME OUT THE DAY AFTER THEY HAD SCHEDULED ME (OH WELL, THE SAME WEEK!) AND CALLED TO SAY THEY WOULDN'T MAKE IT THE DAY INITIALLY SCHEDULED. OVERALL, THIS WAS A TOTALLY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

WRITTEN ESTIMATE WAS PROVIDED AT TIME OF APPOINTMENT FOR ESTIMATE. ALL CREW MEMBERS WERE POLITE & ON-TIME. ALL SHOWED ATTENTION TO DETAIL. OBSTACLES SUCH AS TREES WERE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT AND DEALT WITH IN AN AESTHETIC AND COMPLETE MANNER. THEY CONSULTED ME PRIOR TO BEGINNING WORK ABOUT THE PLACEMENT AND DIRECTIONAL SWING OF GATES AND WERE ABLE TO ADVISE ME AS TO PROS AND CONS OF OPTIONS. WERE EAGER TO HAVE MY BUSINESS AND WILLING TO TAKE ON A SMALL JOB AND WERE ABLE TO SCHEDULE THE WORK IN 2-3 WEEKS. WORK WAS COMPLETED IN ABOUT 5 HOURS BY A 4-5 MAN CREW.
