They were very professional in all their communications. I did not get the feeling they were trying to up-sell me or make me buy anything I didn't need to solve a problem that I raised. There was a sense of trust in dealing with Mainstreet fence. In fact, I didn't know about the Angie's List coupon and they told me about it after they did the quote. They called to let me know that they would be 15 minutes late showing up to do the work. They were very professional and courteous doing the work. The lead guy (the one who did the talking) was friendly and accommodating. The quality of work turned out to exceed my expectation and was done in less time than I had expected. They did forget one add on part and they committed to installing it within 2 days. Once again, they showed up as expected and did the work. One nice thing is that they did not request any payment after the initial install just because they had forgotten a $60 part. A lot of contractors want you to pay even though the work is not complete. They did not require that. I wish I could comment on the pricing but after researching the cost of the materials and knowing the work involved, I felt it was a fair price so I did not get multiple estimates. My only complaint (and a very minor one) is that by the time I got the job scheduled, the lead time was longer than what they told me when I got the quote. I had such a pleasant experience with this company I am now considering replacing more fence just because I know a really good contractor. That doesn't happen too often.

Mainstreet Fence installed a fence and gates around our pool in May 2008. We were very happy with the price and work at that time (they were the lowest of 3 bids). Over the weekend, I realized that two of the gates to the pool were not closing automatically. I called Mainstreet Fence, they called me back, and once we connected, they sent someone out within 2 hours. He tightened the springs on the gates, showed me how to do it, and gave me the tool to tighten it myself. He also moved one of the closing mechanisms on one gate so that it would work better. We have been very happy with our fence and gates, and am so impressed that 3 years later they came out right away, fixed the gates, and gave me the tool to do it myself, all at no charge.

The job went smoothly. Rick from Main Street Fence was courteous and professional. His quote was reasonable- about in the middle in relation to other quotes. The job was done quickly and on schedule and and all debris was removed from the site. The new fence looked fantastic! In addition to the initial installation, I had Rick come out twice for minor adjustments due to ground settlement. He and other employees responded quickly and corrected all issues. On the second service call, about a year after the installation, Rick came out to look at the rear gate which was not closing properly. He concluded that the gate posts had to be removed and reset in order to get the gate to close properly. He could have easily just made a half hearted adjustment and left it at that. Rick told me he wanted to make sure the job was done right. That really impressed me. The job was done within two weeks and the gate works flawlessly. Main Street Fence really does back up their work!. I highly recommend Main Street Fence to anyone who wants a fence professionally installed.

This Company is a pleasure with which to work. They were, everyone, competent and pleasant. The old fence was gone on schedule and in its place was a spendid dark green metal one. All was neat and clean. The gate they installed works beautifully and my little dog has no way out. The installation is great and the fence is exceptionally stable. Top customer service. They responded quickly to check the site and provide an estimate. They came as promised and the fence is perfect. Every neighbor asked who installed it. I would ask them for anything needed in the future. Professional and nice people too!

Overall it went very well. It was excellent. These guys were very knowledgeable about what type of fence I needed to use around my pool. They were able to show me that. The owners did the work themselves actually. They were finished in one day. They had some custom order to color the fence and they took care of that. They left the place absolutely spotless. These guys know what they are doing. They were awesome. I would use their services again in the future.

We were very pleased with the two man crew that took hauled away our old fence and installed the new fence. They were professional, timely, polite and clean. We would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others!

Rick made site visit, offered ideas and showed us a book with photos of different styles. They don't have a "showroom" but we had visited others and had a good sense of what we wanted -- a simple cedar perimeter fence and a smaller fence for the vegetable garden. Sent deposit. Chris and Joe showed up promptly as scheduled and did a GREAT job installing. They were very considerate of established plantings and consulted us about many smaller details (e.g., how we wanted gates to swing, etc.). Not sure if we got the $100 discount offered but the fencing seems very sturdy (they manufacture their own) and they spent a lot of time sinking and securing the posts. Recommended for sure.

The overall experience was great. Had great ideas about the design of the fence, helped for me to figure out exactly what I wanted. Was willing to do custom extra-wide gate based on design of driveway with great design, looks exactly like the rest of the fence but super strong as the cedar was applied to a large metal frame. Great installation, fast, professional, absolutely beautiful fence. They even came back when I called them a week or two later to make an adjustment to the gate - came out next day after my call and made the modification at no additional charge. I would definitely hire them again and could not recommend them highly enough based on my experience.

I was extremely pleased with their work. They came on time and were extremely particular with their work. It was done in one day and we had no problems at all.

I was concerned about cost; Rick priced out the job multiple ways to give me all the options and possible costs. He was incredibly patient and helpful in answering all my questions and discussing all the possibilities; I ultimately went with the options I wanted, not the cheapest ones, and I'm glad I did. The work was performed beautifully, and I couldn't be happier with my new fence. Everything happened right on schedule.

Main Street Fence was great from the start--called one day, got appointment for next day. Estimator spent good amount of time and took care to understand what we wanted. Estimator said he'd send out a quote that night, and I got a quote that night via email. When I had questions about township permits, they directed me to the right person. They set a date; they stuck to it. It was the hottest two days of the summer--100 degrees and humid and the workers were out there ALL DAY. They were professional and courteous and very hard working. Everything was just right, no mess left behind, no mistakes, just perfect!

Mainstreet Fence had installed a beautiful fence for us over 4 years ago - we are still getting compliments. When we discoved that our dog was escaping from a gate by the front of the house that we had NOT had them install, we immediately called Mainstreet to fix the problem. They came out within a few days and gave us an estimate and arranged for installation within ten days. Yesterday the new gate was installed - it is beautiful and secure. WE LOVE THESE GUYS.

He was very responsive. He was always on time. He was very professional. He answered a lot of my "silly" questions without getting upset. The price was pretty good. They really did a good job. They were able to do a rush order for a special occasion.

Rick and his assistant arrived at the appointed time and proceeded to complete the job in a professional and efficient manner. The weather conditions were not the best with extremely cold temperatures, but they worked carefully throughout the day and finished a beautiful job. My wife and I were very pleased and will call on Rick again in the future for any fencing projects.

Main Street was very responsive and worked with me as the project changed. They quickly provided estimates. My only complaint was that they are so good you had to book the work a few weeks out. They were great and I would certainly recommend them. The fence looks great!

The instalation was uneventful. The finished fence was exactly what I had ordered and the picket was a close match to to the older fence.
