We were not sure what kind of fence we wanted--wooden or aluminum. The company came out multiple times to give us an estimate on the different types of fences. At one point, we stopped in the office of Main Street Fence---we could see that they made all of the wood fences and we would be getting a quality product. Once we decided on a fence, they came out in a timely fashion and completed the job as promised. We were especially pleased with how much thought they put into our driveway gate, which was a difficult task. The men who completed the work were professional and very friendly. The only complaint we have is that it was at times difficult to reach someone in the office. Other then that, we could not be happier.

From the beginning, the gentlemen who gave me an estimate to the fence installers, the men were very professional andhelpful. I would recommend this company to everyone that needs fencing.

Every part of dealing with Mainstreet was a positive experience. When doing the estimate, he made several suggestions/recommendations which resulted in an end result I was very happy with. At the estimate I was assured they would meet their promised installation date, and they did! At the installation, I made a special request & they suggested/made a really creative solution to meet my request. I would highly recommend Mainstreet Fence Co. Great experience with a very professional fencing company. They were able to do things other "fencing' contractors said couldn't be done. They custom built panels onsite for tricky areas and managed to follow the grade of the yard with no steps or gaps between the ground and the bottom of the fence panels. The fence is tight to the ground so my dog cannot get out. The only reason I say B for quality is because some of the wood used was not in the best shape and some of the screws split the posts (this is common in pressure treated wood i guess). There were only a few spots where I thought this was an issue and the vast majority of the cedar was top quality. Overall a great experience and I would certainly recommend this contractor. I got 5 quotes for this project and Mainstreet was by far the fairest (not the lowest) price and most professional. I could tell immediately that Rick and his crew would do a good job.

Went very smoothly from getting quote through install. They went the extra mile in talking with the twp. To ensure the permit was lined up as well.

I am extremely pleased with the quality and professional job that was done. The visit for the estimate went well and we discussed ways to safely allow our cats to have off leash yard access with out danger of escapes, dispite the fact that there are three trees along the fence line. It took them two day to do the work but it was an amazing job. The fence look great, and the cats have given up on trying to escape the yard either by trying to go up and over or by using the trees.

Mainstreet was very responsive and set up a quote very quickly. They worked with our schedule (we were having a new patio put in and didn't want the fence installed until that work was completed). They installed the fence within a day and it looks beautiful. Very professional company and I would use them again.

The quality of work was excellent, they were responsive, and the price was reasonable. They were courteous and did a thorough job of cleaning up, and I would hire the company again.

Their schedule was too busy and I needed to have it done quicker. However, I would consider using them in the future. Their prices were right along with other estimates taken from different companies.

Got an estimate done in the winter and after talking to other companies found out fences are more expensive than I thought! Main Street was definitely competitive but I wasn't sure I was ready to spend the money yet. As the spring came, I realized I couldn't in good conscientious open my pool with the poor condition of the existing fence and bit the bullet. The job was certainly not that easy as my pool is set inside a rather steep hill. In fact, after a surveyor came to look at the slope of the hill again, they realized they wouldn't be able to use the original fence on the quote. Though the replacement was more expensive, Main Street paid for the difference. The installation took three days and I couldn't have asked for a better job. I especially appreciated how the foreman explicitly went over the job initially, specifically asking me if there was anything not on the quote that I wanted done. Nothing worse than contractors who don't want to talk to the customer. The fence has completely transformed my backyard and most importantly, is now safe.

We had a pretty straight forward need to put a fence around our pool. We had a couple of quotes that were all in the same neighborhood, but Mainstreet was a little cheaper and seemed easier to deal with. We ended up with a very nice looking bronze colored aluminum fence that seems to blend into the landscape. The installation crew was in and out in a day and a half. They did a great job and were very professional to deal with.

Overall experience went well. Fence was installed in one day and looks great. Would recommend Mainstreet Fence!

After contacting Mainstreet Fence by phone (February 23rd 2012) the date for an estimate was agreed upon--- the next da y, February 24th. Rick, the owner, arrived exactly at 12pm as promised. We showed him the backyard we wanted fenced. He immediately understood what we wanted----a residential fencing to mark a backyard property line that was attractive, and unobtrusive. Rick proceeded to explain thoroughly his selection from a catalog that showed exactly what we had in mind. A contract was written specifying the measurements, manufacturer, and style of materials to be used. He stated it could be installed in one day at a cost of $3890 for the completed work. One third was agreed upon for a down payment. A call would follow setting up a specific time, that being seventeen days after this estimate (March 12,2012) On March 12, 2012 two workers arrived on time (about 8:45am), introduced themselves and proceeded to explain how they would go about doing their work. They set up their materials making sure the neighbor's property was not disturbed in any way. Necessary measurements were taken. Some cutting of branches was done and left on site. They coordinated their work so well, very efficient and professional. The ground of the backyard is uneven which makes erecting a fence in a straight line difficult, but they easily solved this problem after consulting me. When the work was completed, they cleaned up thoroughly. These gentlemen were so pleasant to work with, courteous and accommodating, a rarity today.. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with Mainstreet Fence. I will highly reccommend them to family and friends, and most certainly use them for all my future fence projects. My straight lined fence looks so beautiful. My ordinary backyard looks elegant and almost estate-like. Thank you Mainstreet Fence.

It went very well. It looks great and functions perfectly.

They were incredibly prompt and punctual. Their price was great. They did the work and when I came home I noticed something and I pointed it out to them. It was as if it was not a problem from their perceptive but it was not going to work for our situation and they redid the entire thing. That was very impressive that they were super responsive to our needs. I will use them again in the future.

Another company had said it was better to reposition the new post rather than pull out the existing concrete. The guy from Mainstreet (who showed up on time) said the existing concrete should be pulled, which told me he would the the job the right way, not the easy way. His estimate was the lowest, and I was more impressed by his appraisal than the others. It was easy to make the appointment, and since it was outside, I didn't need to be home. They called to remind me of the appointment the day before. They came, did their work, it looked great, and I got the bill within 2 weeks. It was all very buttoned up and professtional, and the work they did couldn't be better.

Even though I did not end up hiring this company to install my fence, I wanted to take a moment to write a report about their estimator, Eric. This gentleman was so courteous and professional, that it should not go without mention. I called Mainstreet for an estimate after reading their reviews on Angie's List. I was able to get an appointment quickly and Eric was punctual. What set him aside from the rest was that he took the time to explain the pros and cons of fence material. Particularly, in reference to the post (pressure treated versus black walnut) and the difference between at fence that would last 10/15 years to one that would last 20/25 years. I appreciated his professionalism and the education. Thanks!

Sabrina responded promptly and was such a great pleasure to work with, from beginning to end. She came out and performed an estimate in a timely manner and sent me the quote the same day, and all documents required by their company for my permit within a day following our meeting. She also offered to assist in obtaining the permit and/or anything else I needed assistance with in getting things set, including contacting Peco to find clearance info around a pole I had in my yard when I was unable to get in contact with anyone. Regarding pricing, I had several quotes from other companies and they agreed to be competitive and gave me a price that was fair based on my other quotes and what I was asking from them. The guys (Sabrina's husband, owner I think, and brother) came out and were pleasant, worked hard - even in the rain, and their communication was wonderful- they included me on any potential decisions to be made, were thorough with the options and were very respectful and responsive to our needs and wants. They were neat and treated my property like it was their own. The custom work that they did to connect the fence to the side of our deck was wonderful- they did a beautiful job and made the transition in the space look seamless. I was very impressed. I would absolutely recommend them to any friend or family member and will be using them again if I have any other fencing needs. I couldn't be more pleased with their work. I only wish i would have installed the fence sooner.

They came out on time. They did everything just right. We're very happy. This doesn't happy very often, there were no problems at all. I was out of town and they worked with my wife and got everything just right. It was for the expected price and we would use them again.

I called the company back in June and they returned my call and set up the appointment for the estimate. They came out and gave me an itemized estimate for each section of the fence project so that I could choose to do only one section of the fence or any part of the job. The estimate was done on the spot. I was given a time frame for how long the estimate was valid. I was also informed that I would be waiting about a month before the job started. They built a fence in my backyard between my property and the one to the east. Another fence was built between my property and the house to the west that connected to that property's existing fence and went the length of the side of the house to the front of the property. Another fence was built in the front of the house with a gate. Rick was very easy to work with.He and his partner did an excellent job. They left the property clean and they even connected and old piece of fence to the new fence to accommodate my neighbor to the east because there was a slight gap between the fences. I highly recommend this company and I would hire them again.

I'm not sure how much I spent on this job as I shared it with my neighbor. They were good. I would definitely use them again in the future.

The firm used a project estimator who clearly understood the my fencing request, designed it on the spot, provided a firm price and a date for installation. He was on time for the appointment to look at the work. I accepted the proposal on the spot and provided a one-third down payment. The firm was able to install the fence a full week before the promised delivery. The two-man crew did a first-class job in installation. Cleaned the project site when completed, and finished an hour sooner than projected. The result is beautiful. The fence is of significantly better quality construction than the fencing it adjoins.
