+ -1 moreOur project didn't get the attention it deserved from the very beginning. It was assigned to a novice and then many other and quot;newand quot; workers in the office worked on the project. I don't think there was enough supervision and quality control.
Description of Work: We had Luce & Assoc. to design our house in a high-end neighboorhood. Unfortunately, we were not happy with the way we were treated. The recommendations we received were not practical and in the end we had to removed them. One example is fireplace in the master bath. I cannot compare Luce & Assoc. to other architects because I don't have the experience or qualifications but you will expect an architect to recommend practical solutions in the house. In the end I had to do it on my own by extensive reserch on the Internet. The architect NEVER showed up at the building site. He just sent some novices that didn't have a clue. The worst part was that they were failing to listen to our ideas just because we were not professional architects. In the end what we learned is that if you want to build a house that has the features that make sense you need to do your own reserch and be ready to defend your ideas because in the end it is YOU who will have to live with the result every day.

+ -1 moreOur home is absolutely beautiful, any guests that come over are impressed at the door. The design makes sense for both our needs and our son's needs. The space works wonderfully and is inviting and warm.
Description of Work: Luce and Assoc designed my entire home. Our two son's are in wheelchairs and we needed to remodel our home which is a rancher with a lot of rooms and small hallways to an open floor plan and a accessible kitchen.
