Bruder Electric sent Keith Baum to quote the job when I first requested work from them. I was very pleased with his attention to detail and willingness to work with me to define the overall job. Their estimate was very reasonable and their pricing approach is by the task, not by the hours; this was very important to me, because of the size of the job and indicates the willingness of the company to stand behind the quality of its work. Overall the job went very well. With this much work, we understood that there would be occasions when Keith needed to be taken off on a emergency situation (e.g. hurricane Irene damage), but we still were able to complete everything on an agreed schedule. The work quality was excellent. Keith communicated any issues as they arose, so I would be involved in their solution. His advice was extremely professional. It was a great experience working with him and the company. The office manager, Donna, was always very helpful and kept me informed on our schedule. I would recommend using this company for your electrical service needs.

Overall they are very pricey. They are unreliable at times. However, most of the time they are reliable. When we were in the middle of a large concern (i.e. involving the possibility of arcing), we had the owner/electrician of a competing organization speak with us over the phone and in person. However, the owner of Bruder Electric said he would come to our home and would provide a free estimate. He changed his mind at the last minute and said there would be a fee. In our experience, the president of this company does not make home visits. This practice, lacking supervision, could compromise the quality of work. He does share his expertise as much as possible over the phone.

They did a good job. They did what I wanted. They had one guy devoted to working on the house. He was here for about four or five days. I liked the fact that they were local and they were concerned about how things went. They were pretty attentive and checked out everything for me. I don’t really have anything to compare their prices with. I didn’t get any estimates from anybody else. They were pretty good with punctuality. The guy that was doing work on my house was leaving the company. So he was sharing a little bit more about the company that I really wanted to hear. I didn’t take what the guy said to heart. I will use their services again in the future.

They are very professional and very good. They are very courteous about coming in to my home. What I like about them is that they tell me upfront what the price is going to be.

They arrived timely and proceeded to work on the lights. The lights we bought needed an adapter so that the spikes would fit. Keith went to an electrical supply store got the adapter and finished the job the same day. We are very happy with the work that was done.

We were happy with them, they were very professional. They put booties on there feet when they came in our house, and I appreciated that a lot, they were very respectful. They were on time and prompt.
