Aspire Kitchen and Bathrooms

Aspire did 2 projects for us. The first was to completely gut the master bath, change the layout of the master bath/master bedroom, install new tile/shower/fixtures/closet in the master bath, install new closets in the master bedroom, install cabinets in the closets, upgrade the baseboard heating, and paint both rooms. Michael did a great job. The plumbing and tile work in the bathroom was very high quality. The carpentry and painting in the bedroom was also high quality and all looks very nice. Based on this work we hired Aspire to remodel our second bathroom. This project included tearing out existing tile, plumbing, and fixtures and replacing with new and also applying a final paint job. This project was done with similar high quality and looks very nice. Overall, Michael did a great job and managed all the contractors making sure they also did quality work in a timely manner. Michael was also flexible to incorporate changes that came up in the course of the jobs and gave reasonable prices for the changes. Michael was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him for other projects.

I have worked with Craig at Aspire many times over the years of restoring our 1794 farmhouse. His expertise, skill and customer service is exemplary! I was able to order materials based on his advice, discuss exactly how to match the character of the rooms being renovated, discuss budget and timing, etc. All of the services exceeded my expectations, and Aspire's pricing and time to delivery are on point for the high quality we received. Aspire is not the cheapest, but high quality craftsmanship shouldn't be based on the cheapest pricing! By comparison, there are many more expensive contractors who will not deliver the master craftsman services we received, either. High quality, fair price.

Aspire Kitchen and Bathrooms has made my dream kitchen come true. Michael takes time to explain the work to you and has great ideas and input. I have the kitchen of my dreams at an affordable and reasonable cost. Michael was also very responsive to my request and really walked me through the process. My kitchen went from looking like a kitchen from the 70's to a kitchen of my dreams. Michael installed drywall, cabinets, crown molding, flooring, new doors, new shelving, an island, new lighting, recess lighting, a dishwasher and also painted the kitchen. I would highly recommend Aspire Kitchen & Bathrooms!

We gave Michael a cash deposit of $1500 in the beginning of July. He finally sent a couple of guys out to remove a portion of the kitchen ceiling in October. Their price was astronomical. We decided not to use him, and asked for a refund of a portion of our deposit. He agreed to do so. He will not take our calls or respond to our emails, and has yet to refund any money.

Our job was complicated. We live in an 80+ year old house and the bathrooms had not been renovated/updated in at least 30 years, if not more. The master bathroom is small and the hallway bathroom only had a small shower. Both had to be gutted down to the studs and entirely redesigned, including a buildout of a new closet. We presented Michael with our plans and he came back with a budget we could work with. Once the work started it was necessary to replace the waste pipe, but he was able to arrange the work with only a minor delay in the plan. Because of COVID, we had a limited number of contractors in the house at any one time (it was usually one, sometimes two, including Michael). Michael was present for most of the work - and even did a lot himself. Frequently, he offered suggestions/recommendations that were not part of the original plan, but we trusted his judgement. We were not disappointed. All of the subcontractors were professional, courteous, and focused. When mistakes happened, unavoidable and understandable in a huge job like this, they repaired and made things better than before. Demolition was incredibly efficient; electricians, painters and plumbers were top-notch. Michael’s ability to oversee each step surely contributed to the quality of the final product. In addition to the bathroom renovations, we also had old pieces of furniture that we wanted to use as vanities. Since the pieces were not designed to accommodate plumbing, the drawers all had to be rebuilt so the plumbing would fit. Michael built new boxes and added new slides to both pieces - he did beautiful work, transforming our antiques into custom bathroom vanities. There was never an issue with payment. Michael preferred that payments be made as we met certain benchmarks. This allowed us to know at each step where we stood regarding our budget. Other than the work done on the waste pipe (which was not included in the original estimate), we stayed within the estimate as originally presented by Michael. We agreed to the work on the stack since everything had been opened up; it was an added expense but would cost less than having to replace after they had completed the bathrooms. Michael was great to work with and communicated well each step of the way. He arranged permits and inspections with the township. We would definitely work with him again in the future!

Michael and his team transformed my tiny powder room into a very beautiful complete bathroom. Michael heard my wishes for decor and found colors, tiles and fixtures that totally delight me! He is also a kind, patient and concerned human being. His construction skills are impressive-down to the smallest detail. The results have me labeling him as a true artist! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a job done with skill and care, and for a chance to work with an honest and delightful human being.

I give Michael and his team of professionals an A+ for the work they did on my home from ripping out the old room to running new plumbing and electric drywalls and floors these guys know their trades they all worked quickly and clean they showed up each day and completed the job in the quoted time I will use them again for the next project I will have at my home I also recommended Aspire to my mom & dad and the rest of my family . just an all around great company . its good to see a company take such pride in the work they do

We recently had Michael remodeled our master bathroom, and despite challenging timelines, about 22 days, and our lack of a concrete idea as to what we wanted the bathroom to look like, he managed to work with us, design a marvelous looking bathroom and complete it on time. When we didn't want to throw away our original big mirror, he helped us to restore it and turn it into a brand new like mirror. We are very happy with the way the bathroom turned out and was very happy with all the advice that he gave us in the meantime.

If there was an A+ rating, I would rate all of the above categories as A+. Michael is an outstanding contractor. He is extremely hardworking and efficient. His knowledge of his trade is exceptional. He is an excellent communicator so I always knew the progress of the project, and what to expect next. He had wonderful recommendations during the projects related to absolutely everything: counter tops, backsplashes, hardwood floor, cabinets, sinks, paint color, hardware, lighting, vanities, light fixtures, ceramic tiles, coordinating floor tiles, etc. Needless to say, his knowledge is extensive and his sense of style is a significant strength. Michael is a perfectionist, and this is immediately visible in the quality of his work. I am extremely fortunate to have hired Michael for the enormous amount of work he performed in our house. For all future home improvements, I will immediately contact Michael because he is such an honest and trustworthy contractor with an admirable work ethic. From start to finish Michael was a pleasure to work with. From our initial consultation and quote, until the job was finished, he was professional, responsive, and the quality of his work was top notch. He also provided useful suggestions for our project along the way to make the end result even better than we had envisioned. It went very smoothly and turned out exactly as we wanted. Very good workmanship and done promptly. Michael did demolition, framing, drywall, tiling and painting for us. He contracted out the plumbing. We would definitely hire him again.

Excellent! The work was extremely well done. His design qualities are awesome. Michael definitely went above and beyond. We are extremely pleased with Michael as a person, and as a contractor. My new kitchen is beautiful. Mike took care of every detail from start to finish. He offered suggestions when I needed guidance and his recommendations were perfect every time. He is truly a professional - very talented, gifted and a perfectionist down to the very last detail. We had a design for a complete remodel of our kitchen that needed to be completed in time for Thanksgiving. Michael was the man tasked with the job of getting this done. He started Oct 10 and did most of the work himself. Besides being highly skilled he was also very professional and an excellent problem solver. He was able to demolish the entire old kitchen, remove two closets and re-route heating ducts to increase the area, and build a new closet off the kitchen. He then installed all new recessed lighting, porcelain tile flooring, an island, all base and wall cabinets, granite countertops, undercounter sink, and all new appliances. He removed and installed patio doors and a kitchen window. He had all this completed in time for our large family Thanksgiving dinner. Any issues that arose were quickly resolved and he was a pleasure to deal with.

Mike was a pleasure to deal with. He did what was asked and exceeded expectations. We had many changes and upgrades as the project progressed and all was no problem for Mike. He worked most days by himself and his workmanship was great.
