They charged me $300 the first cleaning because they would have to do a deeper cleaning. They do a really good job. I'm not sure what it is they use on my kitchen cabinets but it smells delightful and really makes them shine. They also pay special attention in the inside of my microwave which I LOVE. My kids make a mess in there by cooking things without lids. (I'm working on breaking them of that habit! lol) Anyways, I would recommend Touch Personal to anyone who wants to spend less time cleaning and more time with their kids.
Description of Work: This company cleans my house tri-weekly. My house is a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bathroom single family home.

I do not recommend this service at all. They are EXTREMELY overpriced and do not do a good job at all. I had a 3 bedroom townhouse with 3.5 bathrooms. The first time I used this company, they said that the charge would be approx. $300 for 2 people for 2 hours because they would have to clean more thoroughly than they would on an ongoing basis. Both of the cleaners were prompt and kept very busy for the 2 hours. One of the cleaners was not very professional. I was busy working and he insisted on talking the entire time. I was also 7 months pregnant and it felt like he was implying that I was lazy for not cleaning my house myself, because his wife apparantly cleaned her house up until the moment she delivered. The whole interaction felt a little strange. The service was okay/good, not great for the price, so I thought I'd try them again. The next time, two cleaners came, 1 from the original visit and a new person. It was raining outside, and the new person didn't even take his shoes off as he tracked dirt through my house. They cleaned very fast, charged $250+, and I was shocked when they left. They swore that they cleaned my hardwood floors, but it wasn't noticeable. They definitely didn't clean the stairs, which collect a lot of dirt. Spots were left on counters, and two days later, when my new bedroom furniture arrived, the movers pulled back my old bed, and I was shocked to see piles of dust bunnies under the bed - it looked horrible, and I felt embarrased and completely ripped off. The cleaners, IF they cleaned the bedroom floors, and clearly just swept everything underneath the bed. My husband called to complain, and they were kind enough to offer a free cleaning, but I was not interested. I have a feeling that even if the free cleaning went well, I'd have ongoing problems with this company. Please do not waste your money with this company. More than $250 to clean a small townhome is extremely overpriced, especiallyfor the quality (or lack thereof) that is delivered.
They were courteous, very prompt, and very professional. They used to come out every two weeks and charge us per visit. They didn't do a very good job. Their cleaning was not up to our expectations. They would leave food stuck to the countertop in the faucet and things like that. We don't use them any longer. I would recommend them for light cleaning like dusting and emptying trash, but I would not recommend them for extensive or more thorough cleaning.

The woman told me on the phone they would be able to finish the job in 2 hours. I told them I thought that wasn't long enough, and the woman on the phone sung the praises of her workers, telling me how knowledgeable and efficient they were, how they know just the right product to use in each situation, and told me it wouldn't take longer then 2 hours. Well, 2 hours went by and they hadn't finished half of the work. I had to pay extra to get them to stay. After 3.5 hours, they were doing more harm than good so I just told them to leave. The two employees sent to my home were friendly but didn't seem to know much about cleaning. They got out a wet mop and pushed dirt around on the hardwood floors but didn't clean them. They used those flimsy brown paper towels that you find in public restrooms. They claimed it was because the paper towels were environmentally friendly but I suspect they are just cheap. They were supposed to clean the windowsills but only managed to do about half of them. They needed to be told what to clean. There was some tape residue that the prior owner had left on the hardwood floor, and I asked them to see if they could get it off. The guy from Personal Touch actually scrubbed the finish right off of my hardwood floors, yet still managed to leave the tape residue there. The house didn't look much cleaner after they left then before they arrived, and given how much they charged I felt completely ripped off. I think this is a chain with a pretty website and a very convincing saleswoman on the phone, but they send people out who don't know how to clean anything, don't care and have cheap materials to work with. Complete waste of money.
Description of Work: Personal Touch Professional Cleaning Service sent two people to my home to clean it before I moved in. There was no furniture in the home at the time. We discussed what needed to be done beforehand (basic cleaning of floors, carpets, windowsills, certain problem areas) but the house was not that dirty to begin with.
