The Cleaning Authority - Harrisburg

I received a gift card for Christmas for a one time deep cleaning for my house. Being a stay at home mom of three kids and a huge hairy dog, I was ecstatic! I immediately called and scheduled my initial consultation. As I walked through the house with the representative, I pointed out specific areas that I would like to have cleaned such as the oven, the refrigerator, the freezer, ceiling fans, shower, etc. I was told that everything I requested to have done would be taken care of. I was scheduled for January 14th at 11am. I was running a little bit late that morning and didn't end up leaving the house until 11:30am and they still hadn't arrived. I returned home about three hours later and was immediately disappointed. There were still marks and smudges on the walls, the baseboards were halfway cleaned and there was still dust on the banister as I came up the stairs. I started going room to room to see what else hadn't been done. I took over twenty pictures of the terrible job this company had done. To name a few, the oven was cleaned but the door was not, the floor was still dirty in the kitchen, the fridge and freezer were not cleaned, one glass shower door was cleaned and the other was not, the shelves were not dusted, still crumbs on the living room floor, still dust and cobwebs on light fixtures hallway closet was not swept, etc. Needless to say, I was not happy. I called my representative the very next morning at 830am to let her know that I was not happy and I had a lot issues with the way the house was cleaned. I had to leave a voice mail and waited for a return call. I did not receive a return call that day or the following day so I called the main office. They assured me that I would be receiving a call from my representative within the hour. I did receive a call within the hour and was told that they could come back on Friday (the next day) to reclean the house. I had a few appointments scheduled on Friday so I told her that Friday would not work for me. She offered Monday Jan 20th but couldn't confirm a specific time and asked if she could call me back. I never heard back from her. I called and left her a voice mail (since I couldn't reach her again) on Monday morning at 830am telling her since she never confirmed a time for that day I had made other plans and was no longer available for them to come. I never received a call back from her and the cleaning team arrived at my house at 10:30am. **The fridge** Apparently in order for your refrigerator to be cleaned, you have to make sure that every single item is out of your refrigerator before they come. However, if I would have let all of my food to sit on the counter that day it would have been sitting out for at least an hour and a half since the cleaning team was an hour late. So they just didn't clean it. **The day before the cleaning, I had bought a brand new bottle of cleaning spray. I was told that the cleaning team brings all of their own cleaning supplies. The entire bottle was almost gone when they left. Needless to say, I would never recommend this service to anyone. I still have yet to hear from the main office or my representative and my house still hasn't been recleaned after a week. Terrible customer service. Terrible job.
