 + -1 moreThese men are true craftsmen! Tharp's are professional, prompt, and courteous. Each takes pride in a job well done. Our home is 160 years old and they did the restoration as though it were their own. We have used several other masons and never been happy with the work. This was completely different. We could not be more pleased and will use them again and again!

 + -1 moreyou did not even know that they were there. They were great._x000D_|_x000D_|Other companies that I contacted tried to give me a line - they could not use the existing brick - they could buy it a Lowes, but would not be the same color, etc.

 + 1 moreThe job went great from start to finish. They were extremely good at their work as well as very tidy. All areas were completely covered from the start. The house was built in 1965 and they matched the mortar perfectly. It is hard to imagine that they could do these repairs in such a manner that you could not tell it had been done. Everyone was extremely pleasant which is not a necessity but is really appreciated.
Description of Work: A storm at the end of June broke a large branch which fell on the power line to the house. The power mast was pulled from the house as well as a large section of brick. Tharp Masonry restoration removed all the loose brick as well as the fascia at the roof line. They then relaid the brick and installed new aluminum fascia. They also removed brick at the top of the chimney, relaid them and capped the chimney.

 + 1 moreThe estimate amount was about $2700. The guy who came was extremely knowledgeable and he answered all of our questions very honestly and openly. They got back to us in a timely fashion if we had any questions. I talked to them and then my husband came home. He had other questions. I just thought that they were extremely professional. They had done work in our neighborhood up on the top of the hill and he had recommended them. Then we looked them up on Angie's List also. I just really felt more at ease with him than I did with the other two quotes that we got. They haven't done the work yet but so far that I have dealt with them, I have been very comfortable with them. They were absolutely on time.
Description of Work: Tharp Masonry Restoration gave us a quote for chimney repair. They would take the chimney apart, relay the bricks, repair the flashing and put chimney caps. They haven't done the work yet.
