Snyder Tree Service did an excellent job in cutting down two tall (30 foot plus) locust trees and trimming an overhanging maple tree. I'm pleased with how they were able to do this on a one-way urban street with powerlines close-by and parked cars directly across from my house. Also, their clean-up was thorough, leaving only the stumps (which weren't to be removed). All branches went through a woodchipper and the chips swept from the street and sidewalk. I give Snyder Tree Service two thumbs up. 👍 👍

Snyder Tree Service removed a large silver maple. Their arrival time was 9am and I was a little nervous because we were having a new shed delivered at 11. But they had the tree down and everything cleaned up by the time the shed arrived. I was impressed that their helmets are equipped with communication devices so they can communicate efficiently without without stopping work to talk to the person they need or relying on hand signals. My yard isn't very big, but they knew just how to cut it to make it fall where there would be no damage. They have the equipment and the Personnel to get the job done efficiently and quickly.

They did terrific job. Took care of everything I asked them to, thinned branches; did a superb job on trimming the mantle and removing branches that overhung my roof and our neighbor' roof. .

Excellent job! The tree was encroaching on the house and had never received a professional trimming. They did a fantastic job thinning out the tree and removing limbs to completely reshape the tree. Moreover, the tree is in the middle of a landscaped area with walkways, lighting, plantings, etc. and the area was unscathed. Everything was cleaned up perfectly; not so much as a twig left on the ground.

It was very good. They took two trees down, stump ground both of those, and trimmed some limbs from another tree. I chose them because the had the best price of the quotes that I got.

Snyder called me back within 30 minutes. They were in the area and offered to come out and remove the tree within an hour. They even postponed another job to come help us out. They completed the job very quickly, they did a great job, and their price was one of the lowest we were quoted. I would highly recommend them and would use them again without hesitation!

Snyder Tree Service did a fantastic job. I contacted 12 tree service companies including 5 or 6 from Angie's list as well as several recommended by family and friends starting in early April 2017. Of the 12 contacted only 5 actually bothered to return my call and set up an appointment to estimate the job. Only 1 company, Snyder Tree Service, seemed to have an office staff and got back to me within minutes of my call. The other companies that did contact me got back to me within a day or 2. This was a tough job due to the fact that we have a shed, beehives, an ornamental pond as well as a 6 foot tall fence around the backyard and our back and side yards are steep hills in several places seriously limiting access to the job as well as making dropping the trees difficult by limiting where they can fall. It was clear most of the companies who did provide estimates really were not interested in taking the job as their bids all involved using a crane due to the limited access which, in and of itself, isn’t bad. However, the bids were unrealistically high and we had to sign off on any damage such as cracked sidewalks/driveway, collapsed sewer lateral, etc., that could have ultimately added thousands of dollars to the job with that damage. The Snyder Tree Service bid didn’t only come in $1k less than the other lowest bid but instead of using a crane, they proposed using good old-fashioned manpower and hard work to climb the trees and drop small pieces at a time and haul the pieces uphill to their equipment in the front of our house. It also is important to note the estimator, Graham, was sympathetic to our situation and was more than willing to take on the job. Also, they were willing to work with us on the timeframe. By the time enough companies got back to us that we had an idea of what a good price was, it was mid-May and Snyder Tree Service would not be able to schedule the job until the second week of June. This would have prevented us from planting our vegetable and butterfly gardens. Snyder Tree Service was more than willing to honor the bid and schedule the job for a convenient time for us in the fall. Ultimately the service was scheduled and performed on October 16, 2017. Snyder Tree Service showed up around 10 that morning with sufficient manpower and equipment to complete the job by 3:30 that afternoon. It is also noteworthy that they were meticulous in trying to protect our property from damage and in their clean up.

Estimate was done fast and was very fair. Scheduled the work and they arrived promptly on the agreed upon day. Work was done quickly and they cleaned up nicely.

He doesn't charge an arm and a leg. I can afford him. Some of these tree trimmers are very expensive. I really like that it is eye candy all over the place, climbing all over the trees. These guys are in great shape, but you would have to be in good shape. They are very nice people to come to your home. His men did something a couple of years ago, which they shouldn't have. He wasn't on that job. They were using access from my neighbor's yard, and I was worried about that. Before the day was over, my neighbor received a phone call and some flowers. I thought that was really sweet.

They did a great job. It was difficult because they couldn't use bucket truck due to the tree location. They were prompt, courteous and did all that was promised. If you use these folks you won't be disappointed. Very fair pricing.

Snyder's were great! Not only did they have the lowest estimate, they provided great, communicative service. Would definitely call on them again.

Graham and his team were very professional, punctual, efficient and understanding of our needs. Graham gave numerous professional recommendations and was very knowledgeable about trees and work needed. Estimate was very fair and quality of work very good with safety in mind.

Graham came out around July 2nd or 3rd , listened to what I wanted done, explained other things to be done, gave me an estimate. I called on the 4th, left message that I excepted his estimate, he called me on Monday and set the 9th as work date. His crew were very punctual, got right to the job, worked from 8:30 to 11:00 am, job done, yard cleaned up. Workers very friendly and very knowledgeable about their work, truly professional. 120% satisfied with the job done, cost, clean up etc. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing tree service.
