Shreve Construction Company is a very professional contractor to work with. They demonstrated excellent craftsmanship in numerous projects in my home. I had an incomplete porch project started by another company. I contacted Shreve Company . They came to my home, assessed the situation,figured out how to fix the mistakes that were made by the other company and developed a plan keeping my dream vision in mind. I now have a beautiful 3 season room. It was a pleasure to work with Shreve . I plan to use their services for other home projects.

When we first called, Randy made a appointment and came out and just didn't do some measuring, but took the time to point out different aspects of replacing the roof, but provided some pointers that were most helpful. All members of the crew were easy to have in my home as they were personable, hard working, & respectful of my need to have a functional living space at the end of each day.

It went very well. All representatives were professional, courteous, and on schedule. They were great about getting me sources for flooring, bathroom shower systems, vanities, etc. The corrected existing unknown issues under the floor. They were relentless in cleaning up at the end of each day; very tidy. Highly recommend!

We are really happy with our beautiful new front doors and the work that ShreveCo’s employees, Kevin, Larry and Greg did. Randy at ShreveCo helped us decide the type of door to purchase and even the color! He wrote a contract for the materials and labor that we reviewed and signed. It did take some time arranging appointments and then for the doors at HMI, a Philadelphia company, to be built and spray painted. Because we have an almost 100 year old Craftsman bungalow, we had to have a custom front door made. Home Depot, etc. didn’t have the size nor style of dental molding (none) that we needed. HMI made a highly insulated fiberglass door with wood graining, 6 lights and no dental molding. Our back door was a standard size. We went with a wood grained steel door that was vertically half window. Both doors came pre-hung. Randy recommended that we purchase a standard Andersen storm door for the back and then he would install it. The Andersen order took longer than expected to arrive, pushing back the installation date. But ShreveCo was ok with that and even picked up the storm door for us. Our old house door openings were not square so a bit of extra measuring and custom trim sizing was needed, all done accurately and professionally. Its wonderful that our new doors are all airtight and open and close easily. The men moved the doorbell location and threaded a bell wire for us. The new doorbell button required a larger bore hole so Greg carefully made it larger. That was going the extra mile. The three men who worked on our house couldn’t have been nicer and more professional and I felt safe with them in the house. They were industrious and their work was thorough. If either my husband or I had questions they were happy to answer them. The job site was left clean and neat at the end of each day. While the time estimate was 2 days, it took ½ day longer mainly because of the extra work needed to fit our wonky door openings.

The owner of the company came to our house to give us an estimate on gutter repair and replacement, and hauling away an old, collapsed shed. I let him know that we could use a contractor for other repairs, too, but that the gutter repairs need to be done first. He told us that he would e-mail with the estimate for the gutter repair; however, he hasn't gotten back to us in the past three weeks and we feel snubbed.

They built an addition on my mother's house. The new room turned out beautifully. They came up with reasonable solutions that came with remodeling a home built in the 1950's. She also used them for a new detached garage- very fine work. We would recommend.

Great!!! A family owned business that cares about what they do. Very customer oriented. Hard workers. Attention to detail. They did a new roof, subroof, and leaf guards. Kevin and Greg, Randy's sons and their right and left hand man Larry were the people responsible for my homes transformation. They were fabulous craftspeople. The wonder of it all for me was the joy they took in doing the job. They took pride each day in all they did. We told them what we wanted and they made suggestions to improve our ideas. At the end of each day they cleaned the worksite and prepared for the start of the next day. Would I recommend them to you for your job? Yes. Would I hire them again? Getting quotes for other work even as I write this. Lastly, looking at my first floor I have to tell myself that yes this is my house and not a picture out of a magazine. Wonderful. Work is beautiful and I would hire them again in a . We live in an old house and the nothing was square. Shreveco didn't start any remodeling until they fixed that. My walk in shower is absolutely georgeous!

It was a great experience they did very quality work for a fair price. They were very attentive to detail and they nailed the look we wanted. Our friends love to come hang in our new space.

I had Randy come out to my house on January 4, 2017 to give me an estimate about removing an interior wall. Randy was nice when I met him and had some nice ideas. When he was leaving my house, he backed over my mailbox. The mailbox was removed from the ground and was laying in the street. Randy was apologetic and said he could have his guys fix it. There was a miscommunication between the two of us. Randy thought my husband said not to worry about fixing it, but I was under the impression that Shreveco would be fixing the mailbox, since that is what Randy told me. I contacted Randy again on January 23 asking about the mailbox fix. We realized the communication error and at that time Randy asked me to send a photo of what I was looking for and he would have his guys make it in his shop. I sent a photo of a $34 generic mailbox post from Home Depot. This was back on January 26. I have not heard back since. I find it very aggravating that he would not fix a $35 mailbox post that he literally backed over and broke. I even offered to pay for the mailbox if he paid for the post. I feel I have been very understanding up until this point. I'm glad I decided to go with another contractor for my project, as I have no idea what kind of work they would have done if he can't even fix a mailbox post. I would not recommend. Photos of the current state of the mailbox are attached. The door won't go down because the mailbox is all bent and the post kept falling out of the ground so I had to reinforce with 2x4s so I could get mail delivered. The back of the post was broken off as well.

Amazing what can be done when the right person shows up! This is what happened to us. Randy looked at our floor plan dilemma, accessed his many years of experience, and quickly found us a solution. This started an association with a work crew that was courteous, talented, insightful, and responsive to make a project that was larger than any we had been previously undertaken, as stress free as possible. The work was top notch from start to finish, and they made it a priority to keep us informed as the project progressed. We are extremely happy with the quality of work and the finished product. We definitely will hire them again. ( already have one in mind)

Shreveco did a wonderful job of remodeling our kitchen! We are extremely pleased with the results. They were timely, professional and respectful. Every day they would set up drop clothes while they were working and then at night they would carefully clean up, including sweeping the garage and removing all debris with them. Although the project took a little longer to complete, I am beyond satisfied with the work because they did not rush to complete the job and the attention detail made all the difference in the world. The guys were very patient and helpful with suggestions, which I greatly appreciated. The little details that they added to cabinets and tile back splash make the kitchen stand out. We now have a gourmet kitchen and we didn't have to pay a premium price. We are planning to hire them again to remodel our master bathroom and can't wait to work with them again.

The crew did an excellent job finishing the basement. The work was professional, skilled, and completed quickly. I will be using Shreveco again and recommend them to anyone needing these types of services.

The Shreve family are a very nice family. Professional, they showed up when they said they would. Unless it rained. Over all it was a very nice job and experience. So pleased with the work they did for us that I referred them to a family member.

Randy and his crew (Kevin, Greg and Larry) have been doing an excellent job on our new rec room. The crew is a pleasure to work with and very courteous and caring. Their attention to detail is exemplary. Their communication on making sure what they were going to do is what we wanted was excellent. Not every builder would take the time or care that the project was sealed tight so the lumber wouldn't get wet in the flooring and framing stage due to weeks of rain, the blizzard we encountered in February and the ice storm a few weeks later. The transition from old part of the house to the new part is seamless, the addition appears that it has been there since the house was built in 1979 and that was very important to us. We are coming down the home stretch on our project and can't wait to see it completed. I highly recommend their services and I have already referred them to a family member and a friend.

Finished product very nice; received compliments from neighbors. Appropriate consideration given to bed-ridden mother in law; closed gates so that dog did not get loose. Addressed all concerns that were observed at the conclusion of the work, and is addressing a warranty type issue that surfaced recently. Am in negotiation for further work. Cleanup of dropped nails, fasteners, trimmed pieces of siding and coil stock could have been better.

This was another project in our circa 1890 house. (See previous reviews) From what we could tell, the previous owners had moved the kitchen from the house to a converted back porch. Then, they converted the original kitchen into a bathroom/laundry room. The back porch was floor was rotting and sinking into the ground. You had to literally walk uphill to leave the kitchen. We decided to try and build a modern kitchen into the original space, which was only 8x12. On top of that, we wanted to put a washer and dryer in there. (Our basement has dirt floors, so we didn't consider a laundry down there.) Additionally, this room was sinking, too. The floor would have to be stabilized and leveled. Oh, and this small space was located immediately over the furnace along with all of the surrounding ductwork. Shreveco, once again, did an outstanding job. As expected, with a house of this vintage, additional structural issues were discovered when the walls, ceiling and floor were removed. As with my other project, they came up with solutions and immediately put them into place. There was significant progress every single day, and the crew stuck with our project with no lapses until it was done. You'll see in my photos that the kitchen, though small, is beautiful, functional and modern without losing the character that the house should convey. One note to anyone considering a major project like this, especially on a vintage home: As issues are uncovered, there will most certainly be work that falls outside the original scope of the project. The Shreveco crew was there to do what they needed to provide me with a safe, functional kitchen. They were diligent in telling me what was necessary to each issue as it cropped up. Accounting and billing was not their main focus, nor would I have wanted it to be. In hindsight, my only recommendation to other homeowners is to be sure to request a weekly review with *any* contractor to go over cost overruns so that you don't forget what you agreed to at the end!

The project went great! I could not be any happier with the final product. Everyone at Shreveco from the owner down to each and every crew member that worked at my house was friendly, knowledgeable and punctual. My house was not remodeled in over 40 years so there were many additional repairs that needed to be completed in order to do the job right. The guys at Shreveco were always very flexible and kept me in the loop on the additional repairs needed for a high quality outcome. These guys are the best in the business and believe they could handle any size project.
