A signed contract was entered into. They took a check and cashed it. There hasn't been much progress since. That was 8 months ago. what work was done was horrific. They haven't repaired the work. Communication from them is nil.. They don't respond to emails or texts. When they do, which is rare, promises are made and never followed through.

Workers stood around. Not a lot of hussle in the younger generation. Said one thing, received less. Bosses/managers better than worker bees. My forth major life flood so I am an authority on judging this type of work.

It was paid for by the insurance. They had to replace a wall that got wet, the carpeting had to come up and they had to mitigate the mold, they had to fix the sheet rock and stuff because it flooded in the basement part of it. They did such a good job in my house the first time that we used them the second time. My insurance recommended them the first time and we jus stayed with them when they did a good job. Different people handle different parts of the job depending on what it is they are fixing. They are very good and they clean everything up and we were real satisfied with their work. They were fixing damage from a fire on one and in the other one, a pipe burst in the basement and got under the carpets and it got all moldy. They ripped all that up and put new flooring down. They fixed up everything. It was an emergency kind of thing and they were here the next day.

The roof replcement went well, and they never finished the dryer vent. Till current it is still unfinished with many phones calls and never a return call to finish the job. I paid the contractor in full after the roof was complete with the knowledge of the job going to be finished in a few days time, no one has called me till this day.

Their service was excellent. The insurer called them in the evening and within an hour they were at the house to perform the services. They were polite and friendly and willing to answer all of my questions as they worked. They thoroughly cleaned up the area after cutting through the drywall. They protected the floors from the garage to the basement. They removed all the padding without getting anything else wet. Overall they were a pleasure to work with and I would be willing to use them again if the need ever arises.

It went very well. I was very pleased with this company and their responsiveness. They had a backlog and couldn't do my repairs as quickly as I wanted, but they came out at my request and placed heavy plastic sheeting in my ceiling to help block out the cold air that was pouring down from the attic into the bedroom. There was no charge for this and they were very professional, courteous, and punctual. This company was selected by my insurance company, and I was very happy with their choice.

The layout that the company came up with was fair to good and they said that these were their limitations, but I had another contractor that had a different layout so I'm not so sure how truthful that was. Other than that, they were pleasant to work with, always on time, and cleaned up after themselves. They made efforts to resolve most of the issues that arose. Overall, I am satisfied with the final product, just not the layout.

They were excellent. They were extremely responsive, professional, and easy to work with. They got the job done very quickly and were very interested to know that I was happy. I felt I was part of their team. There was lots of communication.

They stripped my woodwork. There's still a ton of smoke damage on the woodwork. They busted up my new entertainment center, marked up a coffee table I had just gotten for Christmas by putting pictures down directly on it, which scratched the wood. I had a blanket stand for quilts and they broke that. They put big holes in the ductwork when trying to fix it, and left the living room ducts disconnected. Their employees were hard to find when I needed them; they were dressed unprofessionally, I found them behind my garage smoking, and they talked loudly about their personal lives in my house. I stayed in my bedroom as I was recovering from a surgery, and kept my dog in the bedroom with me. The employees squeezed the dog's toys to try to get it to come downstairs, even though I wanted it to stay in the room with me and had told them that. The owner came out several times trying to get me to sign contracts with him in the middle of getting the work done through the insurance company, which I didn't appreciate. I asked them to put in a bid to wash the siding, and they just never did. It felt slimy. The insurance company paid them, and I was told that the payout was gigantic based on other insurance companies I have talked to, but I received awful service that was not nearly worth it.

The insurance company recommended them to us and the bill was paid entirely by the insurance company. They told me what they were going to do before doing it. They cleaned up the mess and were respectful. They were very professional, reliable, and did a nice job.

We liked working with them. They were prompt to answer any questions we had and returned phone calls. They did the work quickly.

They came to help me and I found that they really cared. They were really kind and gave me advice during the entire process. They ended up cleaning out my entire home.

Amazing. Very professional, They took care of everything up to and including the moving back of our furniture and many special requests. They are worth the money and the service is 5 star.

I This is actually the second time we have had this company do work on our home. The first time was during this past summer to repair several gutters, downspouts damaged during a severe storm. This time, our home caught on fire on the night of Hurricane Sandy, resulting from a blown transformer outside the house, sending a massive power surge to our main circuit panel, setting it and the basement on fire. Because we were awake when it happened, the firefighters were able to minimize the structural damage. However, the damage from the thick black electrical smoke was incredible, as well as water damage from the fire hoses. Our insurance company lists this company as one that will warrant their work for 3 years, and having had the previous experience with these professionals, we were happy to have them again. The work is actually not quite done, but expect to be sometime next week. We have been housed in an extended stay hotel during that time, while the house is thoroughly cleaned and detoxified. I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism each has displayed, including those subcontracted by Mark 1 (ie) electricians, carpet installers, upholstery cleaners, electronics experts, painters. Each person has been completely courteous, respectful, trustworthy, and meticulous in their work. Each item, nook and cranny, was thoroughly cleaned and dried, and if something could not be cleaned, they assisted us in what should be disposed of and inventoried. I cannot comment on the cost, because it is all being covered by our homeowners' insurance. Therefore, I recommend anyone in a similar situation to consider using Mark 1 for this type of work.

My Mark 1 representatives were/are amazing. They helped to ensure we could get back into the house as soon as possible, and have worked with me every step of the way. They have ensured that any work they did passed not only my approval, but their more intense one. I heard the words and quot;If it wouldn't fly in my own home, we're not going to do it to yours.and quot; I first contacted them two days after my husband's passing and they had the house and quot;cleanand quot; enough that we could stay in it for my daugher's sake with in just a couple of days. They worked with me on flooring choices in the price ranges I could do, and even worked to help me upgrade the laminate to a better quality. Zach, my project manager has called almost daily, coming by to personally check work and make sure that everything done was up to his very exacting standards. They started by ripping up the flooring, then painting and putting in the new flooring and then to ensure and quot;quality of lifeand quot; they continued the painting work to ensure the restoration flowed well into the rest of the house. If I every have need of work again, (regardless of what it is, painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical) I will be calling them. I have passed out business cards to friends and family. I cannot recommend them enough.
