The fellow I dealt with is John Foley from KB Discounters. John oversaw all of the little sub-departments that were necessary to get the job done. He had his one crew coming to take out the old counter, he had a different set of guys come in with the fitted counter which fit perfectly. He just oversaw the whole thing. The guys came, they were prompt, on time and they finished in a timely fashion. At one point, just prior to finishing up the entire job, I had mentioned something about the grout and they sent one of their guys back and redid that little portion. They're very, very good and then John had called to see if I was happy with the job that they had all done. He's very knowledgeable to help us decide between granite, quartz and all that. I will definitely use them again.

We went to them and met with the owner. He helped us work on some colors. He suggested we think about it a little bit, and we did, which was a good thing because I did change the color. We then set up a date for them to take measurements and they came out and did that. Then we set up a date for installation and they came out on time and completed in a day and half which is just what they said. We had originally looked around and found them to be affordable and competitive. The product is a good solid surface product. We had no additional costs. They came out when they said they would and there was no delay. Our kitchen is not a "cookie-cutter" kitchen and is a little unique and they did have to work a little, but the guys that came out were great. They might have been a little frustrated at first but they came right along and worked it beautifully. They did follow-up as well. I would use them again in the future with no hesitation.

I didn’t go with them because their prices were too high. They were very helpful and they did it in a timely fashion, but I just found better pricing elsewhere. I thought they were pretty average. It is annoying to have to go to different companies for each thing, so I found and am using a company that will do everything.

Kitchen and Bath Discounters was one of two countertop suppliers recommended by our contractor. We visited both and got estimates. K & B Discounters had a lower bid and committed to delivery within one week of making a template. We found the owner, John, knowledgeable and helpful. He spotted the exactly correct pattern for our kitchen given the colors of our flooring and cabinets. We e-mailed the cabinet layout from our cabinet company. John agreed to order the laminate in advance so it would be in stock. My contractor notified K & D that the cabinets were in place. Within 48 hours an employee was on site creating a template. Exactly 7 days later, the countertops were delivered and installed. The counter tops included a flush mounted twin bowl stainless steel sink which looks really good. Installation occurred about 1/2 hour later than planned. The workman reported traffic problems. In a half hour they were done and left. The counters fit perfectly and look really good. There are traces of mastic on some of the surfaces left from fabrication.

Kitchen and Bath Disc. gave me the lowest quote of three. I found the owner, John, to be professional and very helpful. He gave me larger samples to take home. He was also very kind and patient with all the calls and visits I made to the shop. The installation was right on time and was performed competently. Tearing out my old countertops proved to be quite a challenge, but they got it done. Probably took them twice the amount of time estimated. They cleaned up after the job. That evening I found that the one countertop was too close to my refridgerator and I was afraid that when we pulled it out it would scratch. I called John and he sent the same workman out the very next day and Steve had it fixed in 20 minutes. I would recommend them to anyone.
