Scheduling went really well. We went into the showroom, pick out windows and doors, they would come out to measure, and a couple weeks later, they would come out to install them. We were satisfied with the selection in the show room. They were a little more expensive than other places, but they do the best work. They did good work. The men were friendly, worked well, they were clean and neat and clean-up after themselves. Each job was completed in one day. We have more doors and windows we want to replace, but they do not do residential work anymore, which I am not happy about.

They did good work and I have recommended them to other people. They did the work quickly, cleaned-up thoroughly after they finished, and their price was very reasonable. They knew exactly what they were doing.

I had some neighbors using them and that's how I found this company. They came out to see what was going on and they found that the one I had needed to be replaced. They gave me an estimate and the final bill was exactly that. It works terrific! They were very efficient and the work was good. I've had no problems with the system since it was installed and I am very pleased with it and have no complaints at all.

I started using them through a business aquiantence. They are fair price wise and they do good work. They have good quality work.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE This review is for 2 separate customers as my neighbor recommended this firm. Came, measured and then never got back. 6 weeks of calling, hounding, begging.. Once I actually did get to speak with Tom, but he was confused on the details of the job, mixing my details with my neighbors. Many calls to the firm and they say they will get back but never do. I called Mr. Derry the manager, who also does not call you back. Have never seen a firm so bad or go so out of their way to abuse their customers. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER.. use this firm.

We couldn't get the door up or down. It turned out the spring had broken. Then just about 3 or 4 months ago the motor would run but the door wouldn't open. They guy actually diagnosed it over the phone. Even though it was late in the day, about 3:00 when I called them, they were here within 1/2 hour to 45 minutes and fixed it. They showed up the same day within less than an hour from when when I called. They knew immediately what was wrong, set about fixing it, and were very professional.

We simply called the main number and were immediately referred to service. They took approximate measurements over the phone, made arrangements to have the glass delivered and a crew showed up before the end of the day to install. All very professional and courteous.

I like everything about HERSHOCKS INC. It is quality products and professional people. They install everything properly the first time, they don't have to come back out and fix anything.

The serviceman was very helpful and gave a running account of what was wrong and what he would do to fix it. He worked non-stop and didn't seem to have any doubts about what needed done. Tightening up the plates that hold the garage door in place was an added bonus that I wouldn't have thought of and was appreciated. He suggested that I remove some grease from the tracks and also suggested the kind of spray lubricant that should be used on the pulleys. The bill was less than what I thought it would be. I learned some stuff that will help maintain the door and a tip on insulating the bottom of the door. A good experience overall. Thanks

The window installation looked great....but pretty soon I noticed lots of cold air seeping through. I took off the wood trim and discovered that none of the windows had been insulated along the top, and one of the windows had *no* insulation at all. I spent the weekend pulling off all the trim, re-insulating the windows myself, replaced the trim, and then re-caulked and re-painted everything. Hershocks deducted 50% from my installation cost, but would not give me a full refund because, in the words of the salesman: "We did do the installation, but just forgot one small part of it". To me, the insulation is the most important part. If your windows let cold air in, the rest of the job is worthless. ****************** Review update on 1/8/14 below ******************** Two years later, I am even more dissatisfied with the windows that were installed by Hershocks. The amount of air that leaks in between the sashes and on the sides is ridiculous. If you put your ear up to them, you can hear a wooshing noise from airflowing through them, and depending on the angle you can see daylight through the gaps in the sashes. I could have bought the same quality windows from Home Depot for ~$500 and done a better installation myself. This window install was a complete ripoff. A few weeks ago, one of the panes of one of the windows completely cracked diagonally across the entire width of it. I am replacing all of the windows Hershocks installed even though they are only 2 years old. That's how worthless they are. **************************************************************************

They replaced the coil to the garage door and oiled/lubed up the garage. They also gave me a brand new garage door opener. I would not hesitate to the use them again.

They did an excellent job. They were prompt. They got here at the time that they said they would be. Once they were done with the garage door I asked them about a window that I was having a problem with. They are going to repair the window for me but it's just that I have been out of town and haven't been able to schedule them to get the parts to repair the window. I had a very positive experience with them. Their price was excellent. They were responsive, punctual and professional.

made the phone call to ask for estimate....they schedule for someone to come and give estimate..they came and looked at the work to be done....sent an estimate to me....

They did a super job and we were very happy with the work. I would recommend them to anyone.

The job went well. Hershocks showed up right on time, the employees were very polite and worked without disrupting my house. It took about 5 hours to replace the windows and do clean-up of the grounds. They did leave some trash on my daughter's bed, but not too much. Since my landlord was paying them I have no idea if the price was good or not. I would recommend Hershocks for other work.
