We hired Goods to aerate and re-seed our lawn. Instead, they applied pre-emergent to the bare spots, preventing new grass from germinating for 8-10 weeks. We offered to work with them to correct the mistake by waiting until the fall to do the aeration and re-seeding. Instead, they quit and walked away, leaving us with a lawn more damaged than when we started. This company should be avoided at all costs!

Good's did an excellent job. We hired them to remove a dead tree and had many dead branches in some other trees. They came out to evaluate the job and made recommendations on what should be done. They originally told us that it would be 10-12 weeks, but they were doing another job in our area and came out within a week. The crew was very efficient and spent the time needed to get the job done right. They cleaned up all debris. I would definitely hire them again.

They did an excellent job and went over and beyond what we initially asked for. The workers were courteous and professional. Everything was cleaned up before they left. We definitely will use them in the future as well as recommend them to our friends and family. We were truly impressed with the service and price.

Jon came on time and was very pleasant. He had originally come just to give me an estimate but when he saw the tree was in need of immediate pruning and that I had the tools to do the job he was able to do the service on the spot. He did the job quickly and I'm very pleased.

Although I did have to call a few times to get a response, once the right gentleman was reached, he kept me apprised of everything that was to happen. The tree was down in about 1/2 hour and they cleaned up shavings. They will be back to grind down my tree stump at a later date. The associated cost includes both cutting and grinding. In my opinion, Goods is always professional and thorough in their follow-through.

Had to call twice to confirm, they arrived on time...had requested tree treatment no follow up.

The crew began on schedule, worked throughout a rainy day, removed all cuttings, and beautifully trimmed our hedge as specified.

Good's Tree Care removed trees at two properties including three cedars that had been planted to close to a house and were in a tight place adjacent to the neighbor's fence. Good's crew expertly cut the trees into sections and managed to remove them without the need to dismantle the fence and without damaging the large raised bed where they had bee planted. The crew also removed other small trees and dying bushes on the property. The subsequently ground the stumps to 18 inches below the surface, clearing the way for the beds to be replanted. At the second property Good's removed three dying trees and subsequently, sourced and planted replacement trees.

First meeting went well. He was knowledgable, professional and courteous. I called once after and was told he was backed up and would be in touch. I sent several emails. I later received an email from an employee named Bev telling me she found my request in her junk email & I should contact them if I was still interested in an initial meeting. I replied that we already had the first meeting with Matt and waiting on a quote. No one ever contacted me. I waited but nothing. I am of course now working with another local reputable tree service

The various tasks took 2 I/2 days to complete. The work was very complex in scope. Work was done in a timely fashion. Crew was accommodating to my needs. They addressed all my questions. A retaining wall which had removable blocks had to be addressed a second time. The owner, Bob Good, was concerned about during a good job. He actually came on site to address the problem in a prompt and professional manner.

I had an estimate scheduled for Tuesday. They never showed or bother to call to cancel. Complete waste of my time as I rearranged my work schedule to be available for the estimate. When I called to confirm the time, the woman at Good's told me I should call them if he didn't show up in the next few minutes. Not quite sure how that's my responsibility? I completely understand if someone is running a bit late, but to not show at all...not a company I would want to do business with.

I had a tree that needed to be removed. It was large, dying, and positioned right near my neighbor's garage and right near another neighbor's fence. I also didn't want any lawn damage. They removed the tree without damaging my neighbors' properties or my lawn. They used a small, low ground pressure, Bobcat extractor to haul the heavy limbs and trunk off my property to the shredding area. The team (Keith, Rob, and Greg) worked safely and well together, and every cut was precise, accurate, and well-planned in the interest of safety. I'd hire this company again based upon this experience. This is the 4th company I've hired using Angie's List. Each of the 4 times has been positive. After arranging an appointment for an estimate around late August early September 2014 we had to call them back in order to actually receive the estimate after about a month had passed. After agreeing to the estimate and sending the paperwork back in mid-October we were told they would not get to us until November or early December to arrange a day and time. We got our phone call to have someone come out yesterday morning, Tuesday, February 25, 2015. We heard nothing from October to the end of February. A simple phone call advising us of the delay may have sufficed.

They are very good. They kept one tree alive which we were afraid of losing. They've done a great job caring for that. They've been reasonable and they do good work.

It went very well. I was very satisfied. I had another tree service a number of years before and they only cut the tree off at the grade level. Good's Tree Care took out the roots and all and they did a much more thorough job.

Quality of work was great. Had an issue with getting contacted back about scheduling but once everyone was on the same page everything went great. They did a great job with cleaning up after service was done. Pricing was the best out of all estimates.

Was told when we accepted their contract that it would be about 2 months before they could complete the service. They were the most reasonable of three offers. The crew that came out was very professional and quick in removing the tree and stump. They also cleaned up the excess debris. Would recommend them to others.

We had 3 diseased Ash trees that needed to come down. We asked that they take away the debris and leave 5-6 foot pieces so we could cut it up and use it for firewood. One of the trees fell on a live tree, so the wait was a little longer than we would have liked, (6 weeks) but now we know why. The service and professionalism is top notch! We were told they would arrive between 7:30-8:30am. At 7:30am our doorbell rang. They introduced themselves, confirmed what we were having done and started working. Watching them take care of the trees was amazing. The were so precise and you could see the years of experience at work. We would definitely hire them again, and have already given their information to others who have tree issues.

The work crew of three men were very efficient and did a careful job. We are very pleased with the work done. They crew even listened to my wife's requests and carried them out. We find that unusual from many workmen. There was no damage to the property from heavy equipment as they did the work the old fashion way without the use of a bucket truck. using slings and ropes. We will be using Good's Tree Care in the future.

Things started out well. Contacted service and they were out within a couple of days to look at the job I had - the removal of two trees and some brush. I received an estimate within a couple of days and I accepted the proposal. That was 7/3. I attempted to contact the Arborist that came out via email on 7/25 and got nothing back. I called a couple of days later and was told that they were really backed up and it would still be a couple of weeks. I got a call and they stated they would be out on 8/21. No show. I thought maybe I had the wrong date and waited to see if they would arrive on 8/28. No show. Called again and was told they would be out on 9/5 to complete the job. No show. Received a voicemail this morning that the crew must have gotten caught up on Friday and they would be out tomorrow, 9/9. Sorry, in the age of all of the modes of communication, you didn't realize they did not complete the job on Friday and you weren't able to call???? Contacted them back and asked them to cancel the call and I would find another company to fulfill my needs. I was never questioned why...nothing. If this is the way they want to treat customers/potential customers, fine, but, not me. Buyer beware!!!!!!!

I like the people that they sent. They came out and I wanted shrubs cut down, and then, the stomps ground. It was reasonable. Their charge is $980, quite a few shrubs or bushes. I thought it would actually cost more but I am currently getting away with that lower figure because they are not digging up the stones. They are storing with them. They were digging them up but I have not gone back to do any kind of bad creation. I had one leading to buy new shrubs to put in and actually came everything at work. They enjoy what they do.

I went to Angie's List, chose a few of the top-rated providers in my area, and called them to see about getting an estimate for trimming a tree in our front yard. While they were all very nice, we ended up choosing Good's Tree Care. Tony showed up on time for the estimate, and walked around the tree, explaining how he would thin the tree to lessen wind resistance, in addition to removing the dead wood. The branches and leaves were hanging onto our roof and blocking up the gutter, and also hanging low over the sidewalk. He specified how much clearance he would leave under the tree, over the sidewalk, and over the house. He gave a very fair estimate, and explained that since they had a bit of a backlog and ours was a smaller job, he would just swing by while he was already in the area and take care of our tree at some point within the next few weeks. That was perfectly fine for us since we were in no big hurry; the tree was just fine as it was, it only needed a trim. About four weeks later, we came home to a beautifully trimmed tree, and we've already gotten a compliment from the neighbors! The house and sidewalk clearance were more than adequate, and the whole tree is shaped and looks healthier than ever. They also cleaned up the yard- you couldn't even tell anyone had been there. Another factor that made us choose this company was the ease of communication. Within 24 hours of looking at our tree, we had received an email with our estimate...I really appreciated the promptness of the estimate. I would definitely use this company again, and will gladly recommend them!

Good's Tree Care was very professional. They did a wonderful job removing the trees/grinding the stumps and removing all debris. Highly recommend them.
