The workmanship was nice and the price was reasonable. He works with people. He gives a window of time and always shows up on time (or early). He gives great suggestions and is willing to go out and get other things needed to complete job. It was all covered under the original price.

Mark Shives does a terrific job. I originally hired him to do some minor work and after seeing his work ethic and quality of work, decided to ask him to do some painting for us. The work was done in a very high quality fashion and Mark was very responsive to any additional requests I had. Mark and his assistant were very flexible, always courteous and very timely. This was the best experience I have ever had with a contractor.

Mark arrived promptly, and was pleasant and professional. He did an assessment of the work I needed completed, and went to work. He completed everything in a timely manner, having all tools and skills needed. Door handle is beautiful, and works well. Faucet now secured, and working well. Drape rod/brackets hung, and drapes now hanging, with metal "tie" back in place, again looking great. Nice conversation, too, including me asking for some suggestions on future work in my home. Mark made me feel completely comfortable and confident in his demeanor, and his work was well done. I look forward to using him for future projects. Thanks Mark from Fixxit and Angie's List for the "Daily Deal" that helped me out tremendously! Terrific handyman help on things I could not do myself!

I was very pleased with Mark and his work. He and his assistant showed up on time and worked very quickly and efficiently to finish my projects. - much faster than I anticipated. Everything looks great and I was able to get a lot accomplished for much less than it would have been to hire an electrician or other specialist. I would recommend him and will most likely use him again when I have more jobs.

We have used another handyman services with mixed results - one employee was very good, another not. We decided to try Fixxit based on the favorable reviews and the fact that Mark and his partner do all the work themselves. Mark was prompt in providing an estimate and was able to fit us in earlier than predicted. He did a good job of custom fitting the doors despite some issues with an uneven frame and floor. We will use him again as needed.

Mark was right on time and completed the jobs in a much quicker amount of time than I expected. I should have had a longer list! He was neat, professional and very nice. I'd absolutely have him back in my home in the future.

As I stated above, all went well. The provider did a great job and not only would I use FIXXIT services again, I would not hesitate to refer his services.

I am a 66 year old homeowner. No repair seems to be large enough for someone to help me. I explored the benefits of Angie's List and found Mark - FIXXIT - and knew my Honey Do list would suit him just fine. He installed a new garbage disposal, installed insulation wires in the basement, designed solutions for my kitchen that he will complete on his next visit, removed a finicky pocket door, removed kitchen shelves for scheduled, future repair and more. My handyman list identified about 14 projects! I look forward to completion of the projects that we developed together!

Mark arrived punctually. After I showed him the repairs that were needed, he went to the hardware store to purchase necessary supplies. He installed weather stripping on 3 doors for me. One of the doors needed to be removed from the hinges and planed down as well. I have vintage metal kitchen cabinets and one of the doors had come off. The metal attachment piece was broken. Mark figured out how to reattach the door in a creative way. I was afraid it would not be able to be fixed, but he did it. He also installed a new porch light which I had previously purchased, and secured the mailbox door, which was falling off. He did a great job for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Mark was FANTASTIC!!!! He was prompt, courteous, fast worker, quality work was outstanding and his prices are VERY reasonable (cost was for material and labor)!!! He is a small business owner and I will continue to support his business and would recommend him to everyone!!!

Mark did an outstanding job. He arrived at the time promised. He assessed the job, determined that he needed to replace the supply lines under the sinks, and purchased them at Home Depot for us. He was back promptly, and completed the job in the two hour time frame. As an added bonus, he was very competent and friendly. We will definitely hire Mark in the future for other jobs.

Mark and his helper were very accommodating and flexible in my ever changing list of projects. They worked fast and efficiently. They were extremely professional and did quality work. We couldn't have had a better experience and would highly recommend them!

We could not have gotten a better job. The paint job was very professional and we are very happy with it. I should also point out that our living room has high ceilings and the kitchen and dining room have chair railing and crown moldings. This project would of took me weeks to complete. Mark and his assistant only two and a half days with outstanding results.

Mark is great to deal with. Extremely professional (Nice company work shirts, business cards van etc) unlike some other contractors. He's prompt getting estimates together, on time for appointments, and does great work. Over the last 6 months we've used him 3 times and I would highly recommend him. He wired our garage for a new subpanel, installed some overhead lighting in our home (fans, can lights) even was responsible for moving our Baby Grand piano when we relocated to the area. I would not hesitate to use him again for any project...

Outstanding was here for 4 hours (2 guys). I have Mark do all my handyman work around our house.

Work was done as requested with outstanding results. The mail box work was just what we wanted and looks great.
