He has done a good job. With regard to price, I think he probably charged me $50 an hour. For a contractor, he is good. Contractors are, all in all, pretty difficult people to work with in my experience. As a group, they are not responsible. In that context, he is good. I never had a real problem with him. He pretty well came when he was supposed to. Every time I've used him, he would be in touch with me and let me know how things were working out. I have nothing but good things to say about him. Compared to the other ones, he is a godsend; some of them are so irresponsible. I'm planning to use them again. There is some work due for me sometime this spring or early summer.

Don has remodeled an old bathroom that we wanted to keep the vintage look and they did a great job. He has also added a ramp to our deck, and added safety railings when my elderly aunt moved in. He is extremely helpful with ideas to make your home project turn out fantastic. Recently, I hired him to move a shower and place the washer and dryer closer to an outside wall so that it could vent better. The dryer had been shutting off due to overheating. Don came out and looked at the situation and told me that unless I really wanted to spend a lot to move everything around, he could just put in a new ventilation system for the dryer and it should work fine and it does! Since he saved us so much money on that project, we are hiring him to remodel our kitchen. He is reliable with quality workmanship and I would recommend him for any home improvement or repair.

Hard time getting hold of him, we had a feeling that he didn't want to do the job. Tried to talk us into job aspects that he wanted (tile placement/design, floor tile choice), but not necessarily our choice. Spots have emerged indicating inadequate drywall attachment and sealing along with misaligned baseboard trim. The overall effect is good, but the small details were not good.

No problems. Changed my mind.
