Rick is dead honest, knowledgeable And offers reasonable prices for his services. During all the time he has been helping out at my house he has always given us good results. In one instance where the problem occurred, the either corrected it remotely through the computer or came to the house to do it. I would highly recommend him.

Technician found out that the router was not broadcasting the wireless signals. This is important to me because it allows my customers to use the guest network while they are waiting. Technician resolved the issues and also speeded up my laptop.

My father reported that his computer was not working and I was not available to assist for several days so we called Rick. Rick was in the area and onsite quickly. Rick determined the monitor was inoperable. Rick located a replacement locally, picked it up, and installed it. Once again – exceptional service and a great comfort to me knowing Rick will help my father when I am not available.

Rick made Ethernet cables for all of the computers in our home - desktop and 3 laptops. He also installed a switch so that all of the devices we use could be hardwired into our router for live, online streaming classes. One laptop was kicking my daughter out of her class repeatedly during her class, and Rick determined that her CPUs were running very high. He thoroughly cleaned both children's laptops. Their CPUs went down considerably and since then we've had no trouble with class attendance.

I am a home-bound senior and appreciated his house call. Rick responded to my call immediately. I had a number of problems which took a great deal of time to correct, but not more than I expected given my circumstances. I have some computer knowledge, but Rick had the skills and tools to complete the job. His work was more than satisfactory. His excellent knowledge, patience and professionalism are rare. Rick took care of the printer problem and cleaned up "the usual mess" on our desktop. It went well, as usual.

He helped me to fully understand what I needed for a new computer. He also made memory recommendations which I am very happy with. Being a disabled person, Rick went and picked up the computer and delivered it to my house and then set everything up. Downloaded the printer drivers and configured them, Set up to connect to my WiFi. Copied all my data from my old computer hard drive to my new computer. Made sure all updates were installed and configured. I am very pleased with his work. I am very computer illiterate and he was very patient with me.

Mr. Aurand was instrumental in helping me find the right printer for our family situation. We are a homeschooling family, and make quite a lot of copies, prints, and are required to do some scanning. He completed the set up in the estimated time that he had given to me prior to service, so there were no surprises in regard to the cost of his services. The printer is exactly what we needed, and we have had no problems with dropped signals. I purchased a Brother printer, and since Mr. Aurand is a service provider for these types of printers I like having the assurance that if anything goes awry, he is available to take care of any problems we may encounter in the future. I would highly recommend Mr. Aurand to service or repair a computer or for equipment set up. While I would love not to have to need his services in the future, I will definitely call him first if something isn't working in our family's computer world.

Rick did an outstanding job and when we contacted Norton Virus representatives he made it clear that he was representing me! Anyway, all issues were resolved on two of my computers and his rates were reasonable. I would most definitely use Rick Aurand again and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs remote service, I feel very comfortable letting Rick take remote control of my computer! Rick is a true professional and can be trusted!

It went very well. He made some suggestions for backing up the computers once the boys start to work with them and also for taking care of them. He was very personable and answered every question that I had for him. I definitely would recommend Mr. Aurand, he did an excellent job. And his prices were definitely fair.

We set it up and loaded the software in my computer...My husbands is with him in the hospital and Rick will come back to do his and do our 6 month check up.. We ran off some examples and made sure I knew how to run the machine.. He always make sure I am comfortable with what he did before he leaves..

After a recent experience with a failed hard drive, I learned from Rick that additional back-up measures should be used to supplement online back-up services. I bought the external USB drive Rick recommended, then he set everything up to not just back up daily data, but also image my hard drive. The image is an exact copy of my hard drive and can be used to restore or replace my hard drive if it becomes corrupted or fails. Rick has seen too many results of inadequate back up practices and he is an expert in making sure you have what you need.

When Rick helped me with a network printer in January, I knew I had found my go-to for future needs including custom builds. What I did not know is I would need one so soon. The hard disc in my father’s older PC crashed at the most inopportune time when he needed it to coordinate home healthcare services and update friends and relatives when my mother returned home from surgery. I contacted Rick to build a new PC as soon as possible. We discussed hardware and software options and he delivered it a few days later in a snowstorm. And he came out on the subsequent Saturday to assist with importing Outlook files. The computer is exceeding expectations and my father likes to show off how fast it is with the solid state drive. I have been looking for a local provider of computer services. Based on Angie?s List, I contacted Rick to configure a network printer. He was responsive, on time, professional, and proficient. He is friendly and eager to provide self-help tips. He can provide remote support and custom builds. My search is over ? I will be contacting Rick for all my computer services going forward.

He showed me which button on the screen I had pushed by mistake and explained how it kept my computer from working. Then he cleaned up my hard drive deleting all the cookies and malware that were slowing it down; blew the dust out of my tower with a can of electronics dust off; performed a backup of my hard drive on my external backup drive; figured out and fixed my son's laptop wifi problem by moving the modem out from behind the tower which was blocking the signal; showed me what I was doing wrong that my printer was not printing from email and answered all the other minor problems and concerns of a computer-ignorant old lady! As always, he responded immediately and efficiently and put my mind at ease. The best part is that he will hopefully outlive me so I will never have to call on anyone else with my computer problems!
