Description of Work: Replaced three doors. I bought the doors separately and Handyman installed. The cost turned out higher than anticipated. If I had to do over again I may have just contracted with lowes to do the installation. One big plus is Handman's one year guarantee on their work. After a winter of expansion and contraction they came to readjust the doors. They have excellent customer service.

Description of Work: Todd was great as well as the staff I spoke with when scheduling work. I will be calling them in the future for other jobs around house and recommend them.

Description of Work: We had two windows removed and boarded up and new steps made leading to the side door. The workers were very courteous and did a great job. They kept the area clean and removed all debris when leaving. I highly recommended this company.

Description of Work: I asked for an estimate to get three bedrooms painted & some trim work done. I emailed pics the following day. Heard nothing for almost a month. Emailed multiple times & received excuses. Got a partial quote that was ridiculous. Will definitely be looking elsewhere.

Description of Work: I called and discussed painting of a new deck overhaul. Got a quote that was in range with others, so agreed to engage them. After that, I could never get them to return a call when they said, and never got a schedule. I called them three times, and got return promises - none kept. I went to the next contractor on my list and got the job done in three days. These folks called while the other contractor was painting, and were reasonably professional when I explained that they were not going to do the job. It is great that these people have so much business that they don't need to do what they say, but I'm not interested in this kind of bad service.

Description of Work: Installed a new bath tub/shower combo fixture from "Sign of the Crab" and removed the old one.Actual date of service was Nov. 06, 2008.

Description of Work: My husband and I have just joined the 20th and 21st century! We no longer have to wash dishes by hand because our Handyman Matters handyman installed a dishwasher for us (which we bought and had ready at time of service.) Our friendly handyman did an excellent job and we were ready to load the dishwasher by the time he left.

Description of Work: Removed old track lighting; installed recessed lights plus dimmer switch; retyped bad corner joints; skimmed patches where old track lights were; second coat on patches; added new trim & casing to window; painted 2 plus walls; prep. patches; prime & paint remainder of walls & ceiling; all 1/4 round to window trim; finished painting walls; 2 coats of paint on trim; installed new receptacle & switch covers & door lockset; and supplies.

Description of Work: They remodeled our kitchen cabinets to make our new refrigerator fit into the existing space. You will NOT find better, more professional, nicer people to deal with. They are truly one of a kind.

Description of Work: Added a downspout to existing gutter. Looks good, matches perfectly. |Worker was great (professional, fast, and neat). Only possible negative to experience was that I went over project and directed them to online pics to ascertain info about project (location, color, size). Was quoted based on that information, but when worker arrived, he was unaware of information I discussed with staff. He had to go and purchase the materials and Handyman Matters charges by the hour. Much of the time paid for was travel and procurement. Would prefer to pay by the hour for just labor and projects at actual house.

Description of Work: Handyman matters refinished our front door and side lights. Beth called the afternoon before to confirm pir appointment and Mr. Bhuto did the work efficiently and well. We will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Installed shower stall in existing 1/2 bath. Including new inlet and drain pipes. Installed exhaust fan/light combo, toilet, sink, and vanity, and new flooring. Fixed nail pops in ceiling and replastered walls and ceiling. Everything was finished well within estimated time. I'm happy with the work done and will use Handyman Matters in the future.

Description of Work: located and patched a leak in our roof. Very informative, told us exactly what he was doing and looking for and how he would fix the leak. It wasn't as bad as we thought and he also told us our roof was in good condition and did not need replaced, which was comforting to us. We were impressed with his honesty and would definitely use them again for other jobs around the house.

Description of Work: Fixed a leaking kitchen sink pipe and replaced faucet fixture. Craftsman was very helpful and concerned about doing the job at the least expense for us, his customer. He performed the work in one hour and was neat and professional.

Description of Work: This is the third time I had Handy Man Matters out. I was very pleased with their service with everything but my garbage disposal. The handyman came out and was ready to take out the dishwasher to look at the wiring for the garbage disposal. I was concerned with this so I told him to not do that and we will have someone else look at it.

Description of Work: Complete install/remodel of bathroom --- Excellent workmanship and attention to detail ---- I have had them to our home for smaller items the past several months with the same outstanding service.
