With the additional benefit of a system-wide database composed of over 400,000 completed jobs, we can provide our customers with accurate estimates over the phone in most cases. Using our time-plus-materials business model, we inform our customers up front of what they can expect to pay and give them the opportunity to schedule an appointment for a specific time at their convenience. It went excellent.
Description of Work: He fixed a wooden fence, and repaired the slate in the foyer, and underneath the sub flooring was rotted through. He also put covering to reinforce the flooring, and put down more slate. He also fixed some drywall upstairs, and some downstairs as well.

Description of Work: We had two 5' shelves, a 3' shelf and a decorative shelf with drawer hung in the bedroom, two small shelves in the bathroom, curtain and drapery rods in bedroom and living area hung, a hanging swag lamp hung over dining table and a smoke detector installed. The 3' and 5' shelves were placed on corbels for support. All were done to our satisfaction and we are happy with the results. Everyone we talked to or worked with were very helpful and friendly.

Description of Work: There was a gap in the front door. We have used Handyman Matters several times and called them. The worker diagnosed the problem and gave a solution finishing the job in about an hour and a half. He was knowledgeable, skilled and friendly.

Description of Work: Curt, from Handyman matters, tore out a shower surround, removed drywall and insulated around the shower, and replaced the drywall to ready the shower for me to tile. After I finished tiling, he returned and installed a new shower door. He was prompt each day, very helpful and responsive to all my questions and concerns, and did a wonderful job.

Description of Work: Handyman installed three sliding doors that I had purchased. Two men were sent and they worked very smartly together. They were professional and polite, and did their job well. They did not have to install any trim inside or outside, but I thought the price was reasonable for the amount of work done. I would most certainly hire them again.

The company came and had to trouble shoot the entire system. They physically had to remove every plug and fixture to find the power interruption. It took a complete day but they found that one of the electrical plugs in the living room and dropped a line into the wall opening thereby causing an interruption to all electrical fixtures beyond that point. I was amazed at the skill that was used as I watched the people go through the elimination process to discover the problem. After several hours of work, they were able to restore all power to the house which made us completely happy.
Description of Work: The house experienced a major electrical shut down. One half of the house lost all power and we could not find the problem. Time was critical to restore power. Handyman Matters sent their two top people to resolve the problem for us that very day I called. Nothing was visible and we could not see where every line ran from or too. I have used them for other projects also.
