They were patient, prompt and very helpful. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

Overall, the work was professionally done within the timeframe promised. The carpet was removed and cut up suitable for trash pick up. The wall paper was efficiently removed. The painting was completed and organizer installed. The painting was exceptional. Bob, I believe his name was, was very conciencouse with the painting. I was very impressed with the detail of his work. The only drawback is I have H/W base board heat and we had a disconnect that this was included in the trim work. I completed that myself. None the less, I would recommed Handyman Matters to anyone (in a pinch or not). Expecially if you want a professional painter.

We had two very drafty exterior doors original to the house, built in the 950s. In addition the front door was not installed properly by the previous owner. The craftsman was completely professional and the work done was top quality.

I live in an old home and the wooden trap door on the cellar was rotten and falling apart. A new cellar trap door needed to be built and installed. The day before the handyman was to come to build the door it rained and was to continue to rain through the next day. He called and told me that he measured the door and would build it at home and install it later the next week. He called later on and asked about my schedule and what would work for me regarding installation. The door is well built and he even repaired some of the wood around the trap door which had become loose. The final cost was less than the amount quoted. I would definitely recommend this company for service.

They've done good work. Jim, one of their workers, pretty much did the whole room when I had it redone. This included carpentry, electrical, woodwork for the baseboards, crown molding, installing electrical outlets, etc. He was just great. He called before he came out to give me an estimated time of arrival.

Unfortunately the system wouldn't work with my sink because it was too low, so he wasn't able to do the work. It wasn't his fault that he wasn't able to do this work.

They did a good job. They were fast and efficient, cleaning up after themselves. They were priced reasonably. It went good. I would probably use them again if I had a need.

Great guys! They were quick to respond to my email and had an estimate for the storm damage to the siding in no time. After that, I had them firm up a stair railing and to fix a column on my front porch. They did a great job on everything they were contracted to do.

They are very prompt. Their estimates are very much on target. I am able to schedule easily.

He was not as knowledgeable about security lights and how they work as I expected from an electrician. He was VERY responsive when I said that to him, coming back a second time to make it work, and not charging me. Overall, I'm satisfied. These guys are professional, knowledgeable handymen, but they're not master electricians, in spite of being listed in Angie's electrician category. The re-wiring job was well-done, and quick, so they can do electrical stuff that's not unusual or esoteric.

Their rate of $68 an hour is high, but considering their expert and professional execution of the job I would hire them again for small jobs.

Grout began to crack in less than a year. They (Handyman Matters) recently came out to repair the situation because the work was still under warranty.

Excellent service person (Ken), arrive on time, completed the job in a timely fashion. RECOMMENDATION: (this may apply to other companies as well) have all parts needed for the job ready for the handyman. Any trips they make for parts is 'on the clock' and to the store of their choice (which is added to the bill)

Robert arrived shortly before he was scheduled, determined the work that was needed and the supplies he would need. He returned from his trip to the lumber store very promptly, no wasted time. The work was done very well, the best way I can describe it is to say he measured, and he measured, and he measured again. THEN he cut. Handyman Matters always does an excellent job of cleaning up after the work is completed. When I need work done, I no longer get estimates from other companies. I am confident that Handyman Matters will provide quality work at a good price.

When I described the work to Heather, she estimated that the job would take about 6 hours and quoted me an estimate based on her understanding. Chris called on Saturday for a description of the job. He arrived at 8:15am on the appointed day having called earlier to say he would be delayed. This job was based on my design; I only have ideas NOT construction skills. He sat down reviewed my sketch, asked some pertinent questions and made a list of materials from my drawing. After shopping for the necessary supplies, he got straight to work measuring and cutting all the pieces. He routed the support pieces for good fit, sound structure and a VERY professional look. Since this was a custom piece, it took longer than estimated (not unexpected). Chris returned 2 days later to complete the project. If I had thought to FAX the drawing to Handyman Matters it would have helped the communication. At any rate my husband & I are thrilled with the result. It looks like something in a magazine!!

As always, Bob McRedmond and his team were a pleasure to work with. Heather, at the office, remembers her customers and accessed my information immediately. She took the details of the work I needed done and Bob came out the same day to assess the amount of work to be done and a rough estimate was given. The work began one day ahead of schedule, was completed on schedule and came in on budget. The craftsman that was sent was professional and personable, on time or ahead of time every day and cleaned up the area at the end of each day. He tweaked my rough design to perfection and on the final day, he wiped down the cabinets inside and out, carted away the scrap lumber, swept the floor and searched my driveway for any nails that might have been dropped.

They got back to us immediately after calling them. They provided a rough estimate over the phone and then came and looked at the shower. They arranged to do the work when we were out of town. They showed up as promised and completed the work. The shower looks good. The price was reasonable.

My call was returned quickly. The company works on an hourly rate basis, but I was given a rough estimate of the time required to do my list of jobs. The workers were prompt and, with one exception, very careful. The wallpaper removal took a very long time (the fault of the wallpaper, not the workers), so they sent someone who charged a lower hourly rate so it would cost less. One of the workers caused a significant problem by tearing some wallpaper when he removed old caulking, but the company was very apologetic and repaired the situation to my satisfaction at no charge.

I contacted Handyman Matters via their web page. They got back with me within 2 hours, explained their hourly rates and we scheduled our appointment. Kyle was on time. He looked at our shower and went to Lowe's to get the right grout. He was professional, courteous and finished the job in about 3 hours. I would recommend this company to others based on this small job.

The handyman was courteous and respectful. He did his work in a professional manner and came early.
