Ace Handyman Services of South Central PA

We had problems with caulking our bathtub ourselves. Called Handy Man Matters, and they sent someone over. The work was completed quickly, and so far, it has held up. Usually by now, the caulking would become separated from the tub. I would use their services again.

The gentleman that came out was very courteous and did a great job. He picked up everything and there were no issues with cleanliness. We will definitely use them again.

Handyman Matters of Harrisburg He did get out a broken light bulb that was in a fixture, he did do a good job fixing the wood part of the front door that my dog had ripped out. He only did the minor things and some wasn't fixed too well.. The number one thing I wanted done, the guy from Handyman Matters, said he hated to do that but, it was on my list and it was most important to me. It was to fix the sliding door that had come off and he just never got time to do that. I could of had my son do the little things, and the one thing I really needed help with got pushed off and it still isn't fixed. So I am done at that point. So, I am disappointed, I ended up spending a lot of money and still didn't fix the one main thing I wanted. He took a very long time to get materials.

I needed to have ceiling fan installed. I have used them 3 times in the past and they always do good work. They are very professional and were on time.

They've done very good work for me. They were very good. They came on time and they did very good work. The gentleman's name was Clark who did the work. He was very good and very efficient.

The entire process couldn't have gone better. Heather at the office was extremely polite and efficient, and in spite of a short timeline, she fit me in. Especially for the pressure washing -- the weather was supposed to be warm the day after I called and she made sure she had someone come to my place. She also gave me an estimate for all the work, including a breakdown of one person versus second etc. The final amount came very close to the original estimate she verified with me. The next morning, the pressure washer was dropped off and John came on time at 9am to start the work. He pointed out some problem areas, but otherwise did a fantastic job of cleaning out mildew and other stains off the siding. He also did the walkway and the deck, and was done at exactly the time he was supposed to. The next week, Kurt came to take on the painting. He was extremely friendly, courteous and walked through the house to get the list of the items to be tackled. He told me what he was going to do on each of the two days. The painting was done very professionally. The leaky shower was a pain to fix but he and Ricky got it done. Kurt worked through lunch to meet our deadline. It was a pleasure dealing with the office and the people who came to help us --- I would highly recommend Handyman Matters to anybody who needs assistance with work around the house.

They were good. We had an issue with the work at first and the owner came right out to look at the job. He sent someone out right way to repair the issue and he came back to double check it was to his liking. I have to give them high marks because they took care of the issue immediately.

It took him 2 days to do all the work, which is what they estimated. Also adjusted 2 doors that now fit better and my house is warmer. Very friendly and professional.

Great Experience. The lead handyman arrived and looked over the job and even put a screw in the baby gate on the steps before the the second guy arrived. It took two people to remove the AC unit in the second floor. Then they quickly cleaned up all the gutters and fixed hangers that had come loose. He left me a note on the invoice about other items that we talked about doing on a future visit. Very friendly and fast.

They were on time and they gave me a time so I didn't have to guess.

They were good but for me their price was a bit too high. They were very prompt and thorough in what they came to tell me, what had to be done, but when it came to the price range it was just out of my budget. He told me that he had a very busy schedule and probably will not be able to get to my work until the middle or end of December. He was very polite. The estimate included everything that I asked him to look into. I think depending on the scheduling, of how they schedule their work for people, I think they are very professional. I personally feel that he probably would have done a very good job. But I said it was the money that was involved that I could not afford. The man himself, who he came to give me the estimate, is the person that has the business and he has people working for him. Like I said he was very polite, very thorough and came when he said he was going to come. He gave me one of his cards in case I need him again. I feel they would be well worth it. Over all I consider him to be very good. If I have the means I will certainly consider him in the future.

Handyman Matters is fine, they were professional. They are up at the top with companies that I have dealt with but they are also expensive.

My aunt showed me the work that was performed. I was in shock! I was out of town when the work was performed and I'm sorry that I was. Basically, what Handyman Matters did was build a lean-to. It was designed out of 2 x 4's and the plastic roofing (the wavy stuff). The angle cuts that he made on the 2 x 4's look as if they were done by a child. Not one of them are square cuts. When he cut the plastic roofing, I can only assume he used tin snips or something similar. The cut is almost as wavy as the roofing. Again, it is not a straight cut. He has pieced together multiple sheets of the roofing so I'm quite sure that when a strong wind comes along, it is going to be ripped off. It is the most unprofessional job I have ever seen. The only good point is she told me the guy was nice!! So I couldn't rate them so poorly on that but I'd rather have a gruff old man who knows how to build something than a nice guy who knows nothing about working with carpentry!! FOLLOW UP! The company responded promptly after viewing the photos and have offered to redo the entire job at no cost to my aunt. I believe things are on the way to being resolved. I was so shocked because I'd seen the company's work and it was stellar. Then to see what this gentleman did was like night and day. I will post another follow up once it's completed. But they are standing behind their work.

I liked their work. The did a better job on the portion of my porch and banister that needed to be fixed than the builder! I have had so many compliments from people asking "Who fixed your porch?!" They did excellent work and did not fool around. They were prompt, efficient and did excellent work. I have no complaints whatsoever.

It went great, it was done quickly and professionaly. My problem while not very large was handled to my expectations . The did exactly as expected and in line with what they promised. Feel comfortable with them.

Only got estimate from employee who visited my home to view the project wanted.

They are good company. I was happy with their work. They were very good in figuring out the leak. They are very prompt. They are very easy to work with. I was impressed with the young man who came to house. They are very easy to work with. They are very clean. The receptionist you call up is really good. The bill is very simple. I would use them in the future.

He did a good job but he is not the cheapest. He charges thirty bucks just to come out but I had a coupon so I had $30 off. If you don't have a coupon it will be a little more expensive. He is real professional. He knows what he is doing. It wasn't like a real easy thing but he had to go up to the attic to do some stuff to get it fixed. He cleaned up after himself. I think he did really good job except if you have a lot of work done it will get a little costly. He is very nice and I was pretty impressed. It's hard to find guys who just do little jobs that you can trust. I can't say anything bad about him. I wouldn't use him for a big job but I would use him again for small ones.

Very prompt & professional telephone response with scheduling tailored to our particular requirements. Located and provided special color vent covers that I could not find. The young man doing the work arrived on time and performed his job quickly and thoroughly. When he encountered a related problem, he contacted his company to try and find a resolution. Although he was not equipped to make the additional repair, he did inform us exactly what was wrong and suggested another service who could help us. Charges for the work were less than originally quoted and they were very easy to work with!
