They were prompt and efficient in doing the work and were very neat while working, and cleaned up well afterwards as well. Before they arrived they gave me some money saving tips which have worked out. I would certainly hire them again!

Bill Woods of Handyman Matters was scheduled to arrive at 1:00 PM but I received a call around 11:30 AM from him and said he was running early and would it be convenient to come over early to which I readily agreed. He pressure washed the aluminum siding on our home which some of it had algae on it. He did a very nice job and flushed our gutters of leaves as well (on the 1st fl.) which was very much appreciated.

We had a special for the power wash and had the entire house, back patio and front steps done on two visits, 3 August, 2012 and 13 August 2012. On the second visit they sealed all the gutters and repaired and fixed the soffit on the front porch overhang, as it was leaking. Handyman called and checked to see if the work was done properly. We were waiting for rain to check the leak. Called them back after we found out that the overhang was still leaking and they returned on the 5 September 2012 to fix it. They called to check if the leak was fixed and we were waiting for rain to check the leak. Called them back because there was still a little leak in the overhang. The final visit was 6 November 2012 to fix the overhang. The front porch overhang was a problem for a while and we had someone else try to fix it but they were unsuccessful. Handyman reassured us that they would keep coming back till the problem was taken care of, which they did very quickly and efficiently.

We were literally moving into our new house and realized that there was a problem with the u joint in a pipe running to a utility sink. They were extremely pleasant and professional when I called and came out that afternoon - the gentleman fixed the u joint in no time and asked if there was anything else he could help with since we paid for an hour and that task only took 20 minutes or so. He then proceeded to fix the front door handle and installed a new door knocker. They were terrific and so helpful!

It was a great experience. Most companies are not interested in small jobs, so where does one go to get the work done? This was our first experience using Angie's List. The recommendations were good so we made the call to Handyman Matters. Heather was very helpful giving information over the phone and set up the appointment for the work to be done. Kurt arrived when scheduled and looked over all to be done. He was also very helpful with suggestions and knowledge of how things should be done. He did the purchasing of any supplies that were needed and he started the work. Each day he cleaned up and removed all waste. He worked continuously the days he was here and was most comfortable to be around. We were very pleased with the finished product and would recommend him and Handyman Matters to anyone.

The job was done in a morning from 8:00 to 11:30 or so. It went without a hitch!

They were very prompt. They did have a visitation fee but they came quickly so it was worth it.

He charges $75 an hour which I think is outrageous. I decided to hire someone who does the same work for $25 an hour.

They were very quick and responsive. I liked them very much. They always did a great job.

It fixed the problem, and we have not had any more trouble, thankfully. They were professional and knowledgeable.

Don arrived on time and ready to work, he was very courteous and skilled. He took pride in his work and it showed because the paint job was flawless and the replaced piece of siding he found was perfect. Very happy with the entire experience.

Project went very well. Their creative problem solving helped move the project forward, and gave us a much better result than our original plan.

I am very pleased with Handyman Matters of Harrisburg. I have used them several times already. I would certainly recommend them to others. He did a very good job. He was on time. They were wonderful. They were so gracious as our jobs were not the biggest. They showed up when they said they would.

They called and came right on time. The work they did on the porch post was better than the people that built this house. They were very skilled at the work that they did. Their price was very close to the estimate. It was also very accurate. There were two men. They were so efficient and didn't waste time or goof around. They were just the greatest. The gentleman was very polite and great with my puppy, Max, too. He was careful about his work; cleaned up after himself; and called me to see the newly installed kitchen faucet that I had purchased. I asked him questions about other services they provide, because I plan to use this company again. I had already checked out their website and it was nice when I called, because I could put a face to the name of the woman I spoke with. She was efficient, professional and so very nice that I could hear the "smile" in her voice. I highly recommend this company!

The ridge vent was fixed ind waertight in about 15 minutes. Then, the workman continued on to fix another ridge vent that was coming loose, but had not yet faailed completely. He also fixed a few gutter spikes that were loose and a few areas of soffet that were coming loose.All in all, I could not be happier and I will definitely use this company again in a heartbeat.. I would recommend them to anyone.

We were moving and had to have a lot of repairs done on our home incuding having two railings installed and two railings brought up to code. We had Handyman Matters come and fix the balisters on our railings. They were punctual and polite, however we noticed some spots where the balisters were spaced unevenly. In our case the project was simply so the railing would be to code. We also noticed on our outside railing that some of the measurements were off on the new handrails. It wasn't very noticeable, but for the price I would have expected something a little neater.

I thought that Steve did a great job with the work he did - he was thorough and everything looks really good. He was also really nice to all of us (my kids and me). That said, he was really late - almost an hour - and he took 4 hours to do work that I still think should have taken way less time. Had I known that the cost would approach what it's turned out to be, I wouldn't have scheduled service with Handyman Matters, and I have to say that I'm extremely unlikely to schedule service in the future. Coupled with a late arrival, our schedule was truly disrupted for the day while I was waiting for work to be completed. Again, the quality of the work was excellent, but for four small projects, $320 far exceeds what I think is a reasonable cost. Also, Steve was on the phone a few times, though briefly, and took a really long time to complete paperwork. He didn't seem to have a sense of urgency as he slowly completed the work (hence the high cost).

We were having leaking faucets. They came out and installed new ones and I haven't had a problem since. It was great work!

They did a good job. I thought they were reasonable. I thought they did a very satisfactory job.

They are extremely pleasant to deal with on the phone and offer many different types of services. Several years ago they built a trellis that is just beautiful. The gentleman I have used most recently is Curt and it is always a pleasure to see him. If he has any doubts about anything he will call an verify before he does it. He is a jack of all trades.
