Buchanan Lawn Care

I used this company last year and was satisfied. I was given an estimate for mulching and edging. Tom said it would take a couple of weeks for the mulch, which was just fine with me, as I still had some weeding to do to prepare. 4 weeks went by and I didn't hear from him, so I snagged him while he was in the neighborhood. He said that the price of mulch had gone up in the meantime, so it would cost another $200 (25% increase), or I could choose the regular, (brown, not black) mulch instead for the same price. I was a little irritated, but said OK to the brown mulch, at the same price. Another 2 weeks went by with no word from the company (now we are mostly through the summer). A business card was put in my mailbox which read on the back "Hi Ladies, I'm going to pass on that mulch job. Tom. Thanks anyway." I left a voice message expressing I was disappointed, and gave Tom the option of completing the job he had promised, but never heard back. Ended up doing the front beds myself a few days later.

The work went well! Tom and crew did a thorough job of weeding, edging and trimming. Lot size just under 0.5 acre.
