I called them to come out because when oil heater went on it filled the house with fumes. I was impressed that they came out so quickly. It went down hill from there. I paid 188 dollars for nothing getting fixed. I was told they needed to come back and finish the job. I called to have them come back but was told I would need to join their Gold Shield membership for them to come out and clean it. I said I really don’t want to join I just want them to complete the job. Again I was told you need to join that’s how we do it. So now I know why they didn’t finish the job. So I am out 188 dollars for nothing accomplished. Oh I wrote to them twice and never got a reply Dissatisfied customer

Company was very responsive to come out for an emergency with a clogged drain and that were anything positive ended. They arrived at our home and and spent 5 hours with a auger and were not able to clear the drain. They said a superb would not call them back and that they couldn’t do any else. They left us and gave us no other options or solutions for help. I called the secretary to complain and she was concerned but I never received a call back about this poor service. I am disgusted by the lack of customer service and decency that they couldn’t pass along a tough problem to a supervisor. I will never recommend this company-

My visit today was twofold, the first being a full home inspection to check for any plumbing issues. Mike E. was a great resource; he made quick tweaks to our toilet tanks to improve the flush and gave me great advice on a change we're planning for our utility sink. He also pointed out concerns I should raise about existing work performed by another company, which I was able to get addressed immediately saving me from possible longterm damage or unnecessary expenses when selling the home in future. From our water conditioning system to our toilets to our insta-hot to our pump systems, Mike was throwing solid gold at me. He was generous with his time and expertise. I'd had some concerns with our water pressure after a job performed by another company, and Mike really helped me navigate the issue. I'd known IT Landes as our HVAC company, but only recently discovered them as a plumbing solution. I wish I'd known they were in this field before working with anyone else! As a young homeowner who did not come from a terribly handy household, I learned so much in such a short window. Mike didn't beat any dead horses, but he took the time to make sure I understood every issue and gave me great pointers for maintenance I could stay ahead of myself rather than having to go out of pocket on down the road. This Gold Shield Inspection was worth the price of admission just from the knowledge I got from Mike this morning. The second purpose of Mike's service call was maintenance for our tankless water heater. I'd done some research before hiring IT Landes for this job, and there had been some hemming and hawing by other company's sales departments about how hard and uncertain a task it was. While it's definitely something I want a pro for, I was especially glad I'd hired a pro who made it look easy. While I wouldn't necessarily want to (or have what I'd need to) undertake it myself, it's always great when you can understand what your plumber is doing and they confidently and capably address it quickly and efficiently. On top of it all, IT Landes was very competitive with pricing for the value I received in this service. I would recommend IT Landes Plumbing (as well as their HVAC team) without reservation!

I have had ITLandes out now for many issues and each and every time the did a wonderful job. Today, they came out for my ac unit which stopped working. In minutes he had it up and running and the price was reasonable. I had a furnace issues back in winter - very complicated issue and they finally found the problem - I was very happy with their work and I will continue to use them in the future.

We had a hot water heater installed today. A couple hours later I was in the basement and smelled gas. Called dispatch after hours and they sent Derrik who quickly found the leak and sealed it off. I would recommend IT Landes to anyone. Thanks.

The technician arrived early, applied booties when walking through the house, replaced the filter in the air exchanger, explained things to me as he went and was most professional. I never fear having IT Landis in the house!

My unit was having multiple control board issues. IT Landis surprised me by replacing the entire outside compressor unit, free of charge, rather then only replacing the boards. They really stand by their work and they stood up for their customer.

The service tech, Zach Tomasso, was late, unprofessional, and rude. He called in the morning saying that he would be at my house within the hour. 3 hours later I had to call the main office because I thought he had cancelled the appointment. After 4 hours of waiting, Zach finally got to my house with a bad attitude. He acted as though we were inconveniencing him to come take a look at our HVAC for preventative maintenance. After determining that the furnace needed replacing, he was short in his responses and was in a hurry to leave without explaining things to us. He was supposed to give us an inspection checklist and never did. I had to call the main office and have them mail it to me weeks later, after I naively assumed that they would get back to me with pricing for new systems. An employee is a reflection of the company, and this company is awful. Zach even managed to somehow violently shove our house filter into the unit so much that it got crushed and I had to fish it out of the vent. He unplugged multiple wires in the furnace since he told us not to use it again (found when our second opinion came to check on the unit). Even though I still need a new furnace I'm so glad that all that money is going into more professional hands and NOT IT Landes. Skip the horrible techs and crappy customer service. Find another company.

He diagnosed the problem and fixed it without wasting time.

We could not be happier with IT Landes. When we move to the area and bought our house, first started with oil delivery and have had great service. We then had our oil furnace serviced. I have to say that the first technician was not very thorough and missed some things. We asked for someone else. Another technician came out immediately. He was great and we have had him back every year. He is thorough and leaves the house just as he found it. No company/person is perfect and things happen. When it does, if they listen and correct the issue, I will absolutely give them another chance. We then had some plumbing work done and a few of the jobs were not simple tasks - we have an old house and there is not a lot a space among other issues. The work was impeccable! It is so clear he was proud of every aspect of his work and cares about every detail. Very impressed. Other companies are just concerned with getting it done as fast as possible, even if that means cutting corners. I agree the prices may be slightly higher than other companies, but you get what you pay for. IT Landes does quality work and their prices reflect that. Good work deserves a good wage.

They were professional and did what they said they would do. They came up with an innovative way to reroute the pipes that works.

Technician replaced a Mohn faucet and cartridge, then caulked site when completed. Quality work but I thiught a little expensive for .65 hours at $245.

We've used them several times. What stood out the most was their overall professionalism. The unit has been holding up fantastic.

The are very reliable, they maybe a little costly but they stand by their product. They are very polite and punctual.

We've used them over the years they do good work have good people. They are very responsive they do good work and their fairly priced.

During a heat wave our AC unit died on a Saturday morning. After calling 5 different companies for after hours/emergency service, Landis were one of the only ones who responded and in a timely manner. Dean came out within an hour as he had stated and did the work in a timely and professional manner. It was also encouraging to find our he has over 30 years of experience working for Landis! I have used Landis recently to replace a sump pump as well. They have always been very professional and their quality of work is excellent. They are also very trust-worthy. As others have said, they may not be the cheapest, but they are fair and you can have peace of mind that they will do quality work and present themselves in a very friendly, professional manner.

Our kitchen sink clogged on a weekend evening, so it was an emergency call to have them come out and take a look. The plumber used his super-duper unclogging liquid and his pipe drill to try and clear it out, but it wasn't working. He at least got the standing water to go down that night, but had to come back later with a helper to finish the job. The 2 came the next business day and were there for about 3 hours - they had to cut the pipe open in the basement and take stuff out. There was a lot that had calcified so it was rock hard and he was jamming a 1 inch pipe into the 1.5 inch pipe just to knock off as much of that as possible. But they got it done and now the kitchen sink drains like a charm. Only downer was the disposal started leaking and we had to replace that as well. My best guess is the liquid he was using eroded the metal casing inside where the electronics are and that's what caused the leak. But it was a very old disposal anyway, and he said he has used that stuff on sinks with disposals all the time and it was never a problem. In any case, he was very nice and very helpful - he made his own extra stop just to check progress before the business day visit, and he even offered to come help us install the disposal if we needed it (though we did not). I would definitely use them again.

Very well. I have been dealing w/ IT Landes for over 30 years & have always found there work to be top notch. They are A bit higher than others but they are always there on time w/ good help who leave the project neat & clean.

The technician was very professional and found and fixed the the issue right away. We have not received the bill yet so I can't comment on price. But we were very satisfied in the service and will definetly use him again in the future if we have heating or similar problems.

We used IT Landes. They were expensive. The plumbing work they do is good. They came out and they charged us a lot of money for the inspection. They did work on them and within two months one of them was leaking. Then they charged us $165. I found they were on the (inaudible 00:06:10) performance. I wish they just said, this isn't a good product and we can't do anything for you rather than try to fix it, charge us a lot of money and then have to come back in two months and spend more money. Other than that, they do good work. They're just a little pricey and I guess all plumbers are. I consider us upper middle class and I still can't afford $500 a year just for maintenance work on humidifiers we had. I would make two recommendation to anyone using them. Accumulate your jobs, in other words, get two or three of them together and have them come out. Then they're very reasonable because they charge you this money coming and going. If you got two or three jobs, you really save that way. The second thing is on their humidification thing on April, it just did not work for us. I'm hoping now that it'll be good for at least awhile but I don't think I call them back for that work. They're probably good-natured people. It's just frustrating for us to have them come back, do work and then not have it work again. They do a yearly inspection that you pay for. They came out, inspected it and then it turned out that one of them wasn't even working for the whole year. This year, we did it again which is when they found out the one wasn't working for a year. They spent time working on it, it was a bill of $350 for the inspection and the work that was done. I use them for sump pump and outdoor plumbing.
