We had duct work removed from our home because it was insulated with asbestos material. The duct work supplies the air from our heating and cooling systems to the first, second, and third floor. Dodge mechanical installed the new duct work after the abatement was complete. I am pleased with the overall outcome. I had half dozen contractors in my home to estimate the job before the old ones were even taken out. I didn't feel like he was "just trying to sell me something", he offered some other options and ideas for resolving the problem, and also offered some personal feedback from his own experience and knowledge. He was professional, kind to my entire family (including my energetic toddler and hyper dog), and added very little disruption to my daily schedule. The work was done in an efficient and effective manner.

The common theme for all services calls listed above: we received a prompt response (within 6 hours, usually less) and were able to quickly schedule a house call. Tom quickly diagnosed the problem, performed the repairs and also explained the issue to us, informed us of alternative courses where applicable. For instance, the most recent burst pipe segment provided a good opportunity to future-proof our our bathroom and utility plumbing layout. Upon our request, Tom added valves that will allow us to continue to use water during future renovations. He also took the initiative to reroute an awkward (and leaking) pipe segment in a way that condenses all toilet plumbing to one, easily accessible area. We appreciate that Tom is willing to discuss preventive measures and quality-of-life improvements along with the necessary repairs, and is also honest about what he believes we could do without, or postpone. He has also repeatedly demonstrated his willingness to help us out with minor issues and concerns. In some cases we were embarrassed to call him for such small things, but Tom never made us feel as though we had wasted his time. I cannot overstate the relief of knowing we can trust Tom to deal with us honestly and promptly the next time something breaks (knock on wood).

Our well pressure tank had failed and was leaking in our basement. Tom called us back promptly, obtained details on the situation and was ready to get started first thing in the morning the next day. He was responsive to our concerns about the size and placement of the original tank and improved upon the situation accordingly. We now have a tank that is much more accessible and of a more appropriate size for our house, reducing the strain on our pump. He also identified segments of corroded and leaking pipes (previous owner DIY) leading to and from the tank, and replaced those with a much more streamlined setup. We are especially appreciative of his prompt response to our situation.Overall, very friendly and helpful - gave lots of advice on maintenance to expect down the line, possible improvements to the well pump, etc.
