I have been using their service since June 2020. I have had very inconsistent pick ups. They use a 3rd party for their payment service. I had set up through their website for re-occurring payments. On January 7th i received my first email from this 3rd party provider stating I had a balance due. On January 8th my garbage was not picked up. I made 4 attempts to reach Raccoon Refuse to resolve this. They did not answer my phone calls or emails. When my garbage did not pick up on January 14th I had called them 5 times in a row. Finally Morgan answered providing very poor customer service and giving me no direction on how to make a payment over the phone. Clearly a poorly organized refuse company. I immediately contracted a more reputable and dependable refuse company.

Once Raccoon Garbage Service recieved payment my service started. They Actually picked up my trash once. I've called them weekly. I've been Promised they will be able to pick up my trash. Then I get home from work and spend the next 2 hours cleaning up trash. I live in the country and all the wild animals Love Raccoon Garbage Service they provide the wild life with Wonderful Meals. Raccoon Garbage Service is A Joke.

We switched to Raccoon Refuse because they were a local company and they provided recycling service. After using them for a year, they constantly miss pickups, without exaggeration, they have missed our recycling pickup every time but one this entire year. They miss our trash about 50% of the time and sometimes miss us a second time on the correction route. Always an excuse, someone is sick, there was a new driver etc, but never any change. Recently, likely as a result of the multitude of complaints, Raccoon has decided to let their voicemail full so messages can be left and not answer their phone. As a result, I have now begun emailing, however enough is enough, once again missed both trash and recycling.

I have used their service for over a year now and they are completely unprofessional! I have to call them all the time because they haven't picked up my refuse and after calling them again 2 days ago because they missed another pickup, my trash is still piling up at the end of the driveway. They also don't supply containers. As soon as this quarter's pay period is up, I am switching back to Waste Management. They cost a bit more but you get what you pay for!

We have had Raccoon Refuse approximately three months, during that time they have missed our pickups nearly as many times as they have actually picked up our trash. This appears to be quite common/characteristic as their bright green bins regularly stay at the curb for days or weeks throughout the neighborhood. Additionally in our three months of service, they have yet to pick up our Recycling. Currently it has been sitting outside since before Christmas. Today when we called they told us that we could just take it inside, the next recycling day would not be until the beginning of February (Now mid January) which will be a total of two months. Customer service is always pleasant when I call, however nothing is ever done about the missed pickups, just an explanation that they are working on their routes. Doesn't seem like a good idea to expand if you cannot effectively manage your current routes.
Description of Work: Switched from national waste service (Waste Management) to a local trash removal service, in order to save money and because the new company offered recycling.
