Very good. He got the toilet unplugged, plus we had leakage in the downstairs bathroom from the master bathroom toilet that was not draining. He came back up and put a new seal on the toilet. No leaking since. I had another plumber come out 1 month before to fix the leaking, which he also put a new seal under toilet, but Mike from Roto-Rooter stated it was not down correctly and explained why.

Tech showed up on promised time and was very knowledgeable regarding my drains. He put cable in line and got it unplugged. He ran water to make sure it was not going to back up and gave me a 6 month warranty much longer than another company would have given.

I had sewage backing up in my basement, I called Roto-Rooter and the lady's who answered the phone were very nice & helpful, they answered all of my questions. They gave me a time which was 9am-11am and at 9:10 they called and let me know they had a plumber,told me his name and how long till he got here, that was very reassuring to know his name. He came in the time frame that I was quoted, he was very pleasant, he introduced himself,then put on booty's so he wouldn't get the floors dirty. He asked me what was going on I explained my problem he went to the basement and looked around, and then explained what he needed to do and how much it would cost, He was very professional. He did not bring materials to do the repair and had to go in to Grove City to get them. Cutting out the bad section and putting in the new section took only about half an hour. I had done all the hard work--removing a wall panel and exposing the leaking drain pipe and disconnecting the washer. He tested the drain to make sure it was not leaking. I should have done the job myself. I never dreamed that Roto-Rooter would charge such an outrageous price!

7.25.2013 raw sewage in basement. Talked me into a $650 service with a 3 year warranty to clean pipes. 4000 PSI at 22 gallons per minute hydro scrub of the pipes. 3.25.2014 raw sewage in basement again. Was told the warranty was voided. Did a hydro jet said the lines were separated. Cost to fix $9,600.00. Jack hammered my basement up and ran new lines. Life time warranty. Ran the camera for me and my brother to see. Showed us all pipes clear out to the main hook up in the street were 100% fine and I shouldn't have any more problems. 5.18.2014 raw sewage in basement again. Camera run. This one said my pipes were collapsed from basement to main hook up. $9,400.00. I thought this would be covered under warranty but the owner's son said the warranty was voided. I was promised by three people that my outside would be put back the way it was. Specifically mentioned the sidewalks and the landscaping of my lawn. I took pictures the entire time the work outside was being done. The pipe that they took out of the ground did not look collapsed to me as he had to break it to get it out of the hole he dug. They quickly put it on the truck to cart it away at the end of the day. The side walk was put back in such a state that it was a hazard for the people going too and from the library and the children going to and coming home from school. On 6.13.2014 they still hadn't come back to take ther frames out of the ground or put my lawn back the way it was. I complained to them and they had someone come out with three bags of cement to cement over and make the side walk even. I was promised by another of the owners son's that the walkway would be jack hammered up and re poured and the crack in the basement flooring would be fixed and the landscaping would be done. The gentleman that came said he wasn't told that, so he never brought the stuff he would need to fix it. So he went back and came with the jackhammper. The next day he poured the cement from a little mixer. I had asked him about the lawn and he said he wasn't a landscaper so he wasn't going to do anything about it. He showed me the new sidewalk he poured and it was once again horrible, crooked and uneven. To get him off my property I signed his order and then called the company to tell them not to set foot on my property again. The first pouring of the sidewalk was on 5.22.2014. They never came back to take the forms out until I called them on 6.13.2014. The Sewage Authority told them to take the downspouts out of the ground as in the next few years they would have to be taken out anyhow. They didn't have to do it right then and there but they did and refused my offer to go and get the proper downspouts. Bryan said that he'd put some pipes they had on the downspouts. The pipes he placed were corrugated pipes and the one was laid up against my basement window and during the next three days of storms, all of the rain water came directly into my basement. The only picture that the Sewage Authority took was that of where the pipes hooked together at the street. The workers in my basement were smoking. This is a smoke free house because of my heart and other health problems. The smoke drifted up through the a/c vents to all floors of the house. One of the workers was singing at the top of his lungs. I have since then made a complaint to the main Roto Rooter and received an answer that Mr Howard Stahl was an independent owner and to complain to him. I wrote to the Better Business Bureau and his responses were a bunch of lies and beating around the bush and not addressing the subject on hand or providing me with the information he said he had about how wonderful his work was. It doesn't exist and I haven't heard from him since last week. He's giving me the run around. I even sent the pictures to him to review because he NEVER has been out to my house to veify my complaints. I feel that the way things happened is part of their scam. I've seen numerous websites about Roto Rooter complaints coming from all over the country. It's all the same, just the prices differed. 1st the super flush then the pipes inside collapse, then the pipes outside collapse. They have scammed so much money out of people it's pathetic. He is now avoiding me because of the evidence that I have given to him and for calling him out on the two "wonderful" jobs they did papers. Also, there was a lot of inappropriate and unwanted hugging on their part by the owner's sons. I have fibromyalgia and was in a flare at that time. It hurts to be touched when in a flare. These people are dishonest and can not be trusted. I will never have them back in my house as long as I live. After all, the pipes are 100% lifetime Warranteed and nothing should happen to them. I give them a big fat F. They are running a scam on people who are disabled or elderly. They showed up late each day. One day the owner's son never showed up at all but he told his dad that he was here at 3:00 and everything was fine. I called the next day to see when he was coming out and after insisting I speak to the supervisor twice, Mr Howard Stahl got on the phone. He told me that Nolan, his son, said he called me and came to see me at 3:00 and everything was fine. BIG LIE Jan Wagner

It went from bad to worse. They couldn't do what they were suppose to be trained to do. We got another plumber to do the work with a fraction (eight time less then what they quoted) of the estimate they quoated.
