+ 1 moreOverall, the project went very well. Communication, at times, was a minor problem as Ed maintains a busy schedule. Fill was provided by a subcontractor which was arranged by Ed. Both Ed and the subcontractor worked with us to get the proper amount of fill and to have it contoured properly. He was dedicated to the project and his intensity to see a good completion was never in question.
Description of Work: Ed Phipps arranged fill (19 trukloads) for low spots that retained ponding water and provided finish grading after work had been done (by another contractor) to install a sanitary sewer system. Side tasks included tree trimming and other miscellaneous improvements on the property. Considerable earthmoving was provided by Ed using various equipment get a suitable contour to the property. Approximately one-half acre was seeded with grass and a flower bed was constructed and installed.

+ -1 moreEd was professional and friendly. He supplied the materials for the job and followed up to make sure all was well. Was helpful and efficient in his work. Would recommend Ed for any outside work that needs done. Have viewed other projects and he is very concerned that work meets the satisfaction of the owner. Ed is honest and trustworthy.
Description of Work: Provided stone for an area in our yard. A small job but one that needed done after a new driveway was installed.

+ 1 moreEd Phipps is an individual who can do everything from tree removal to landscaping. He is professional and highly skilled. He runs a very tight schedule, so he is there when he says he is going to be there. His cleanup is very well done and he has the proper equipment to approach projects.
Description of Work: Ed Phipps Residential Excavating Inc took down trees and trimmed others. He has done flattening out the ground, digging holes, leveling and laying stones.
