The owner Michael Flick, has 15 years of experience in this industry and oversees every single job. We pay very close attention to detail and will make your space shine. Description of Work: They were flexible and painted 2 rooms plus ceilings in lieu of 3 rooms as advertised. They were very polite, professional, clean and fast. A crew of 4 came and finished the 2 rooms with 2 coats of paint in less than 4 hours. Very neat. Easy to schedule. The only additional charge for me was $8 travel surcharge.

Description of Work: This was absolutely the worst experience my wife and I have ever had. I am going to be very quick and to the point and if anyone has any additional questions please feel free to call me regarding this company. We ordered the special on 5/22/2013 it was not scheduled until even July. The day they were to arrive I received an email at 1 AM that morning Letting me know of additional costs that were not told me previously. This includes $.75 per mile over 30 miles each way and additional 180 for a ladder if they have to paint over 8 feet. I then come to an agreement with his wife who is his administrator for $45 And for them just to come and do. When he gets here he told my wife it's going to be $60 because it was further than they expected to drive. At this point we just want to work done. I came home and I told the gentleman that as soon as she gets home she'll write him a check for $45 because i will be leaving. At this point they still had two hours each with three guys here left the painting. When I explained to him that he was not getting any more than the $45 extra agreed-upon, his exact words in my home to his guys were "pack your S&@T let's go we are leaving" They proceeded to leave and he threw a temper tantrum saying that now I could finish it on my own. I wrote him a check for $45 as agreed with his wife/admin, however they did not complete the work and I would not recommend them to anyone. Please beware this company will charge extra costs and not disclose until the day of Almost trying to leave you with no choice because you've already prepaid for special. That's not it after they left my home and pulled out of my driveway, He proceeded to pullback in my driveway and walk in my front door without knocking or ringing the doorbell. when I asked what he was doing His response was "taking pictures". Totally unprofessional unacceptable and the worst experience I've ever had

To all of my Angies list customers please read this if you feel that this review is in anyway affecting your decision to use our services, because we care greatly about our customers: First of I would like to start off by saying that if this was the worst experience of your life we are truthfully sorry. Yes there is a wait time for our company to come out to you... we are again, a small family owned business that my wife handles all of the calls and scheduling while being a mother to my children, and as always as soon as the item is purchased we send an email to thank you for purchasing with us. In the beginning we exchanged a few emails and we always ask what the customer is looking to have completed in this time frame, in which we were told a foyer and 2 hallways. We asked through email if this was a 2 story foyer and customer responded "all you'll need is 2 painters for 1 day." So we assumed it was not, however as we always do the night before a job we gps the house from the office so we can see how far it is and sometime google will provide images of the house and this one came up in which to my surprise it was a 2 story foyer and this house was 80 miles over the 60 that we provide (round trip) so due to the vagueness of the emails i did not want to surprise him when we got there and sent an email immediately letting him know what the overages are due to the fine print of ladder work over 9 feet is an additional $100 and this was a 2 story foyer and and the mileage over 60 miles. My response went out and he responded 37 mins later "I'm very sorry. I thought I answered about the foyer. Yes you will need a ladder and the additional cost is fine." So we proceeded to the job and half way there he called us and wanted to change his appointment, due to the fact that he had no power due to the storm. In turn he calls my wife and begins to yell at her demanding that we get him in as soon as possible because he has waited long enough and told her that he was no longer agreeing to the fees and that he will pay us $45 for mileage. My wife began to cry and just gave into him to get him to stop yelling at her. In turn feeling bad she moved the next weeks appointment which we did not have to do to get him in. Now when i heard about this I was very upset that a man would bring a woman that he doesn't know to tears over the phone.... that is a temper tantrum. However because we care about our customers I still kept the appointment and when we arrived at his house we were greeted by his wife who i spoke with before we began and explained to her my take on this and explaining why the fine print is there. Gas is expensive and i just drove over 2 hours to do this job and because it is such a low price for the amount of work they were expecting the higher walls are more dangerous require us to set up and use larger ladders and thus we have the $100 fee. She agreed to those terms very kindly and allowed us to start. Now we were asked to paint walls only... however as i do for all of my customers I had noticed that the last paint job was very poor and there was paint on the ceilings and woodwork and i asked the homeowner if they had some white paint so that i could fix all of these issues so the cut lines would be perfect for them. When the homeowner came home i advised him of what all we had done: fixing the ceilings the trim and we were on the last hallway for second coat, (he was extremely happy with the work being done) but when he asked me again how much he owed me and i told him $160... He became very irate with me and told me no I am only paying you $45. I tried to remain calm and explain everything again and he refused to listen and kept over speaking me telling me that was all i was getting. I was belittled for 15 minutes and then finally told my guys to get the stuff and leave because i do not deserve to be treated like that. I have never walked on a job in the 10 years i have been doing this I am always willing to work with my customers but I was not going to be talked to like that. I did come back in to take pictures because I was trying to protect myself and my company so i had proof the work was completed and yes I should have knocked and I am sorry I did not. Also i need to note that we also measured everything because i had a feeling that this was going to happen because of our prior interactions.... I am sorry if you feel like we are crooks but if I were to bid this job out not on the special with the ceiling heights and the mileage your total would have been $1194 the price you paid is 60% off.. Thank you for taking the time to review our company and I am sorry for anything that we may have done to make this the worst experience of your life... however i feel that we did everything we could to accommodate you but you didn't want to agree to the terms of the contract, and we are an A rated company because we care and we work very hard to maintain that rating! Description of Work: I had my windows washed. he next day I saw that some moulding was sitting on the window ledge. When I called, they said that it had been loose. No one ever said anything to me about it. I had to call 4 times or more to have it replaced. It was more than a month later.

The plastic guard was off of the window when we went up to clean it and because we take pride and care about our customers I did reinstall it as a favor when i was up there. However, unfortunately it must have fallen off again after we left. I did make the arrangements with you to come back and fix it when we were to come back and do the additional work for you (steam cleaning the bathroom tile). Unfortunately you canceled that appointment with us 2 times so I had to make a special trip to your house which is over an hour away from me to fix the molding that again, I did not break. However because our angies list customers are highly valued, I take great pride in my work, and we strive for the best ratings here on angies list I did make a special trip to come out and fix it again for you. I am sorry that you feel like we did not handle this situation properly, and in a timely manner.
