Description of Work: I placed an order on 7/14/2015 for handyman services. No reply from vendor. Sent email, no reply. Called 412-478-7384. Mail box full.Contacted Angie's List customer service 7/29.They stated they contacted vendor and requested they contact me. No contact.On 7/30 left a msg with name and cell phone. No return call.On 8/21 I call Spotless again left a msg. No response. I called later in the day and co rep told me this was their first contact with me and they were scheduling into October. I declined services due to poor customer service and very poor response time. I emailed Angie's List customer service. Requested a refund to my credit card. Awaiting response. |

Description of Work: Never showed up on day of service to be performed. When I called the guy that was supposed to do the work he was actually at home sick and was surprised that no one in the office called to tell me.

Description of Work: Purchased a Big Deal. Cleaned three bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room, and pantry. Dusted and vacuumed living room, dining room, bedroom. Very pleased.

Description of Work: Called this company before I purchased toast them if they did the services I needed. They said yes and after I purchase through Angies List they'll call me within 2 days to set up an appointment. They never indicated there was a 4-6 week wait for service. I hung up and purchased the deal right away. I never got a call so after 4 days I logged onto Angie's list to see they sent me a massage giving me a date of 8/17 which was 5 weeks out. It was later than I wanted but figured I had some other work to be done, so I would go ahead with that appointment. I emailed back and they said sorry now we're looking at 9/2, which was about 6 weeks. This was a Sunday evening so I emailed them asking if we could just speak by phone and figure out a date, I tried to contact them the next day but was not able and I haven't heard back via email or phone since.

Description of Work: The two painters arrived on time and painted three rooms (dining room, living room, and hallway). The job was completed well.

Description of Work: Carpets were cleaned. The individuals sent to clean the carpets were very professional and personable. Would use this company again.

Description of Work: Cleaned and deodorized carpets. The men were very nice and went out of their way for me. They did a great job. I have already recommended them.

Description of Work: I needed a waterbed frame put back together, curtain rods hung, and furniture moved around. The two that came were absolutely great!

Description of Work: I had a great deal of trouble in scheduling and getting them there on agreed upon time. To be fair, I am in the middle of moving and time frames for me were limited. The young man that came was very professional and polite and apologized for the difficulty in finishing the jobs. I have them scheduled for painting next week so am hoping that will go smoother.

Description of Work: They did an excellent job of covering deep red walls with a lighter color. Very pleased.

Description of Work: Rug cleaning. The offer included 4 rooms. However, I asked if two staircases and a short hall could be switched for one bedroom and that agreed upon. Most spots in each of the three rooms were still evident after the rugs were cleaned and completely dry. Most important, I was disappointed by how the family room rug dirty pathway area, that I indicated needed extra attention, came out awful. I called and I am still waiting for them to come back when they are in the area. In hindsight, I would never have hired them for the job if I knew they were not strictly a rug cleaning business. I have owned several homes and have had rugs cleaned (with just as heavily soiled pathways) by ruq cleaning companies and have had excellent results.

Description of Work: They did a fantastic job painting my living room and kitchen. Dan and Adam were professional, well informed, courteous and helpful. I have had a few bad experiences with contractors in this area. I am so pleased to have found Spotless Solutions! I will definitely be using their services again. I cannot express how grateful I am to have completed this project so seamlessly. Many thanks to the whole Spotless Solutions team for making this such a great experience!

Description of Work: I hit the jackpot with these two young men. They came to perform a rather straightforward task: releveling my front door. They completed that job quickly (and satisfactorily), then asked if there were anything else I wanted them to do. I had no difficulty identifying four other matters--simple things, but nothing I could do myself. Those, too, were all finished in short order. So I got five small jobs for the price of one offer! The only reason I downscored on "responsiveness" is because of the long wait to be scheduled.

Description of Work: Handyman work was much slower than I expected, with very few things on my to-do list completed. After the three-hour allotted time, the hourly rate increased from $30/hour to $50/hour. I didn't extend the time because the labor was not worth $30/hour. Upon learning that the company also did painting, I requested an estimate to paint my porch ceiling and floor. Measurements and pictures were taken for evaluation, but no estimate ever arrived. The workers were friendly.

Description of Work: Installed light fixtures. CLEANED UP, RE-PLASTERED WHERE AN OLD FIXTURE WAS AND WENT TO THE STORE TO GET ITEMS FOR INSTALLATION. I HAVE ALREADY SCHEDULED A SECOND VISIT.
