It all went fine. They arrived on time, did the job as expected and cleaned up well. After the roof was finished, we realized that the gutter guards that we had had in place were missing. Our contact, Doug, ordered new ones and actually came out and installed them himself. We have have had no problems with our new roof.

They came to give a free estimate in May 2011 and everything seemed to go fine. I agreed to hire them and signed a contract. They said they would replace my roof in late June or early July of 2011. Months went by with no contact. I made repeated calls and left multiple voice-mails. Finally, I came home from a business trip in December 2011, to find they had been there and replaced the roof and gutters. They did not replace the roof of my bay window, which I specifically asked them to do and they did not replace the shingles on the side of my attic dormer window, so they didn't match the new roof shingles. I also specifically asked them to remove the old satellite dish and roof over it, which they did not do either. Then it rained... and I got a leak in my 2nd floor spare bedroom near the chimney and satellite dish. After repeated calls to them and voice-mails, no one ever called me back, nor did they ever come back out. I had to hire another contractor to finish the job. The new contractor said they didn't put new flashing around the house and chimney, so it was completely missing in some spots and what was there was all and banged up and bent. Do not hire these people or you will be ripped off.

Paul Harris Insurance Restoration Group sent me a team of roofers who did not complete the roof on time. They did not tarp the roof when they left. They did not show up over the weekend. A rain storm hit our area. Water poured into our home causing much damage. When the roofing team finally did show up and saw the water damage happening, they got into their trucks and left. Because of the negligence of this company, we had to move out of our home and into an apartment for the next 3-5 months while my homeowner's insurance co, Allstate, makes repairs to the property. The current estimated damage on my claim to repair my home is $48,000. I had an independent roofing inspection done. The report has been sent to Allstate and to my attorney. There are NUMEROUS issues with my new roof that must be addressed. According to the report, I did not receive quality workmanship from Paul Harris Insurance Restoration Group and I will have to hire a second roofing company to repair the damage done to my roof and that which was not done properly.
