Response time was quite delayed.

B & A Painting was hired to do some work for our business in November 2010. They completed the roof that we hired them to do for $2600 in a short time. We then contracted them to install windows, and paint the building for an additional cost of $3675. We paid Barry Williams from B & A Painting 1/2 of the money up front in November 2010 with the painting to be finished when the weather permitted. Spring and Summer 2011 came and went with some correspondence and many excuses, but ultimately the job was never done. Also he provided measurements for us to purchase the new windows but the dimensions on two of them were incorrect and we ended up not being able to use them (lost $400) . Barry eventually told us he would not be able to do the work because he was too busy and he would pay back the money in installments starting in August 2011. The promised dates came and went with no payments. After many failed attempts to contact him, we finally did reach him only to have him tell us he didn't have the money and "good luck trying to get it back". It took the involvement of the Attorney General's office under threat of criminal penalty to make Barry Williams return our money. We did finally get our down payment back, but no one else should have to go through this much trouble.

They are not on Angie's List but they are very good. The job is going very fine. I am totally thrilled with them. Quality; I can't really grade the quality, so far it's really good but they are not finished. Responsiveness is wonderful. The days that I called are the days they called me back.
